Dr. John Robert Griffin

Excellent doctor and surgeon. Took time to understand my situation and recommended surgery. Very easy to relate to and explained everything and had good results. I am still in recovery but it has been super smooth so far. Impressed by him and his team.

I’ve had several surgeries with the very skilled Dr. Griffin as part of my breast cancer treatment. I just completed a very long DIEP flap reconstruction and can say that I’m recovering well and have been very happy with his care and the team at his office.

I was hit by a boat at 15 years old and had 7 cranial fractures (along with many other injuries)! Dr. Griffin, seeing I had braces, consulted with my orthodontist and an oral surgeon before performing my plastic&reconstructive surgery. HE IS AMAZING!! 17 years later you CAN NOT tell I have 5 metal plates in my face (my doctors don’t even know until I tell them or they do an x-ray) and you cannot tell I have ever been in an accident at all!! 1000/10 I would recommend Dr. Griffin! His bedside manner to my parents and to myself during that terrifying and horrendous time reassured us we were in The Best hands! Honest. Kind. Sincere. Patient. and Thorough would be the words I would use to describe him! We had a couple “snaffoos” while I was hospitalized (with nurses and other doctors) Dr. Griffin was always available and always made things right. We felt so safe and protected with Dr. Griffin!

Dr G is an amazing surgeon! He listened to everything i wanted and helped me achieve amazing results that i could never have dreamed of being my reality. Dr. Griffin is one of the best Doctors I have ever experienced. He not only explains everything in detail so you understand completely and he LISTENS to your concerns, and answers your questions. As busy as he is, you couldn’t tell as he spends time with you during appointment without you feeling he’s rushed or rushing you. Very pleasant Dr. I recommend Dr.J. I am a breast cancer survivor and I just want to say that Dr. Griffin is an amazing plastic surgeon. Wonderful in the office and great bed side manner at the hospital. Made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease prior to surgery. Even right before surgery he sat down with me and my husband and went over everything that would take place in surgery. He saw me right after surgery and everyday during my hospital stay. He went over what to expect in the months following the surgery. The results of Doctor Griffin's skilled hands were amazing. Everyone who has seen the results can not believe I had surgery. I give all the credit to Dr. Griffin. He continues to check in on me. If I ever need to have work done again, I would definitely go back to him. I highly recommend him as a plastic surgeon. His skills, techniques and bedside manner are above any other plastic surgeons in the area. My goal for surgery was to be able to look in the mirror and not see cancer but see a healthy woman. Made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease prior to surgery. Even right before surgery he sat done with me and my husband and went over everything that would take place in surgery. He saw me right after surgery & everyday during my hospital stay. The results were amazing. I highly recommend him. So impressed with his skills.

My surgery went smoothly, which I attribute to Dr. Griffin’s excellent training, extensive experience, and skill. I am a physician and have very high standards for other physicians. Dr. Griffin is professional and serious but he is also warm and understanding. I was a little scared and he was reassuring in a believable and realistic way. After waiting in the waiting room for around 45 minutes, we then waited an additional 15 minutes in The examination room. We had to go outside of the room two times in order to find out when we would be helped in addition to the one time we asked when we would be helped in the waiting room. The doctor came in did not apologize, used casual and unprofessional language when speaking with us, and proceeded to refer us to another Doctor Who could take care of the procedure for our newborn child. We asked if he could do the procedure and why he was recommending someone else, he said he could but there's other doctors who could also do it too. It sounded to me as though he was trying to pass this job off to another doctor so he did not have to do such a small procedure . Not OK! I had plastic surgery performed by Dr. Griffin to close a wound which had remained open for almost four months after emergency surgery that saved my life in November 2017. From the moment I met Dr. Griffin, I felt completely at ease, and believed that I was in the most capable hands possible. He laid out my options for me prior to surgery, and really LISTENED to my concerns when recommending the best course of action. Because I was completely OUT before he came into the OR, I had no interaction with him DURING surgery, but it was an apparent "one-and-done", and I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with my results and my recovery. I pray that I never need plastic surgery again, but if I do, I want Dr. Griffin to perform it! I can not speak highly enough of my entire experience with Dr. Griffin. HIs staff was incredibly attentive and accessible, as was he! He called me and texted me directly before and after surgery. He made a specific trip to remove my post-surgery drains on a weekend, to help keep me comfortable. As a 38 year old mother of 3 Dr. Griffin has me looking better than I have EVER looked, and feeling great. The man understood every little issue I had and addressed them perfectly! He is genius!
