He had done careful review of my records. Listened well. Explained treatment options well.

The last of January l fell down the court house steps. I was holding the rail which turns and the steps go straight. I had a fractured hip which healed with therapy. Better than it was before. Dr. Gillen did orif surgery on my shoulder . It has full range of motion now. It couldn't have been better. The scar is also gone in some of the places. Not noticable. Thanks to Dr. Gillen and his staff. Answer to prayers.ralph

Incredibly caring, very knowledgeable, took his time explaining the process, as did his staff. I was terrified before surgery and he was quick to calm my nerves.

Where did the doctor go ghosted is he in Topeka what happened?

Not respect customer, horrible experience, never look my eye when i question , never back

less then 3 mins for 2 times , total up is $700 something. not happy and friendly . Doctor should friendly. never ever come back. thank you

He always seems to be in a hurry and seems to not like being asked questions. Not really sure I trust his judgement.

Dr. Gillan did my tennis elbow and my ACL he's the best doctor in the world period. if he didn't explain it to you he probably figures you wouldn't understand it anyway. I'm getting ready to go back to him for another elbow procedure.

My appointment was at 8 am first one of the day new patient ok so u take a little more time to see me no big deal but sitting here 46 minutes after appointment time still waiting for dr. Not ok i have things i need to do.

I would give him a Negative 100 if I could. My hisband went to urgent care orginally and they thought he has a cyst. Recommended he go to Dr Gillian since it was close to spine this was mid Nov. Dr said it was a pulled muscel. It was the size of 1/2 golf ball. Went on vacation and I noticed it looked like it had gotten larger. Called and made appt for the Monday we returned. Went in and Dr didnt even look at it just asked if he wanted a corizone shot. I asked him to look at it since it had doubled in size. And I requested an MRI. Dr. Agreed to order one. When it came back he said it was a hematoma. This is mid dec. it is now looks like he has 1/2 a baseball sticking out of his lower back. Thia made no sense to me. If you have a bruise that size I am pretty sure tou would know what happened. Dr said it would go away in 4-5 months. I still wasnt happy so I sent Husband to st. Lukes emergency room. And they sent him to a general surgeon. He was seen by Dr. James (Amazing) who to removed the MALIGANT TUMOR on Jan 2. We are now waiting to find out what stage as we wait to be seen at KU Scarcoma clinic. So go to this Dr Gillian if you want a dr who is arrogant and doesnt listen to his patients and you dont value your life. I would give him a Negative 100 if I could. Had exvellent recovery ftom Two knee replacements

I was rear ended and sustained a cervical injury, lumbar injury, nerve damage and carpal tunnel. Because I was on the job it had to go through Workman’s Comp. The Insurance company gave Dr. Gillen a hard time about my treatment, but his focus was on getting me well. He even corrected documentation that omitted certain issues. He is good, friendly and does what he says. Both knee replaced 10 months ago, and am getting along pretty good. With some numbness due to a back problem I really have done very well with both knees. My progress I would say is slower because of the numbness from a back problem..but knees work fine and are getting better all the time.

Amazing surgeon and staff! Great at what he does. Explained injury and the surgery in detail. I would definently recommend him and his staff.

Waited an HOUR for him to grace us with his presence even though we were the SECOND appointment of the day. No apology, no excuse, just irritation as if we were putting a wrinkle in his impotant busy day. Felt embarrassed asking for pain medication for multiple fractures and torn ligaments. Wouldn't recommend if you want someone with warmth or any sympathy.

Took a visit here and he was kind of rude and disrespectful. Went to get a cast on my broken foot and he said I could walk on my foot even though I was in terrible pain. They Took my splint off and I almost passed out from pain. They ended up not even casting my foot.

I arrived on time this morning for my 8AM appointment with paperwork already filled out. At 8:08AM I handed it and the requested CD of my referring doctor's images to the staff member. At 8:35AM, I began asking where the doctor was and reminding them again that I had another appointment at 9:30AM. I was told he was reviewing the images. At 9:02AM I was handed back my disc now cracked nearly in half and told it couldn't be viewed. Of course, now they wanted to start in taking new images. What happened to my disc? More importantly, where was my doctor for the 62 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment? I was supposed to be the first one of the day!!! Why do so many human physicians think that their patients' time is not important? When the doctor "No Shows" in the exam room at the scheduled appointment time, I don't feel like it can actually be called an "appointment" anymore. The patient is an emotional hostage. I am pleased with his professional manner and his skill my hip replacement feels great .

I've had neck arthritis since age 14 and was told by my doctor that there isn't much I can do but take ibuprofen. Chiropractor, physical therapy, ice pack, heat pad, trigger point lidocaine injections, Vicodin, so much ibuprofen that I gained ulcers, dieted to lose 40 pounds and exercising didn't touch the pain. It changed my personality being in pain for years and eventually it affected my relationships. I just turned 50 in April and one week later saw Dr. Gillen, who informed me that my MRI results explain why i have pain. My spinal cord was being constricted. His office staff and the nursing team at Belton Regional Medical Center gave me 5 star care. This physician gave me life altering relief of pain and I'm forever grateful to him and his assistant, Amanda. Arrived at his office this morning with my paperwork already filled out for my 8AM appointment. Gave it & the requested CD of my referring doctor's images to the staff at 8:08 AM. At 8:35 AM I began asking where the doctor was & reminding them AGAIN that I had another appointment at 9:30. I was told he was reviewing my images. At 9:02 AM I was handed back my disc cracked nearly in half & told it couldn't be viewed. Sure, now they wanted to take their own images! Where was my doctor for 62 mins?
