This is to little and much too late, but I also had an experience with the "doctor" in 1976. I had a compound fracture of the femur due to an auto accident. The accident caused a 2 inch cut where the bone protruded. The "doctor" added two 3 inch cuts to that. That I understand since he was worried about infection like he had on some other patients. Result, he never closed the incisions before casting the leg and I have a horrible scar as a result. Also since he paid more attention to his entourage of cute nurses rather than the patient, he dismissed my observations that the leg was setting. It had been provided with insufficient traction and attention and set wrong. One inch too short and 15 degrees misaligned. An operation corrected most of the alignment but not the overlap. End result, I have walked for a limp since then. Now my back and and ankle have problems. I just wish I had alerted others and possibly have prevented other victims.

Might as well be named Dr. Butcher, since he butchered me for a routine surgery. He did a great job in removing my non-cancerous tumor....if we are judging him by 19th century standards. I forever have a heinous scar from this relic thanks to (a) following my father's advice at 19 years of age and (b) this guy having learned nothing whatsoever since 1965. Johnny, my dad liked your football game but you couldn't put the laces on a football if your life depended on it. I hope you've retired.
