Dr. Downing his employees are the best in the area. Enough said.

Are there patient there A little a over 10 years. I call two day in a roll about some pretty bad pain. I can do ER but they will give me something for a few hour They need to know every body are not looking for a high. They ARE Great. INEED HELP

I was helped several times at this practice. Had severe back pain. There was some medicine involved in the treatment, but also a considerable focus on Physical Therapy. I got a lot better and was able to go back to work, where I remain.

Very rude office staff and when you call them out for being rude to you they turn around and tell the Doctor you where rude and have you discharged from seeing Dr Downey so if at all possible avoid this practice at all cost not worth the headache

I still can not believe that the Royal pain center and Dr. Downey is still open and operating. Every patient there will be addicted to pain medicine. Unfortunately with money you can abuse and do anything to your patients, that put there trust in him. He is above the law here on earth, but I guess his judgment day will have to wait till his after life. It's sad all this talk about the epidemic but no government agency is investigating this guy?????????? I'll work hard to keep his patients in prayer, like he keeps everyone in the blind. I've been a patient of Dr. Downey's for over 20 years. I would recommend him Highly. He doesn't just give out medications. He looks for a solution to the problem, if at all possible.

Don't bother if you want to live a life. Once you became part of his pain management program he gets you hooked on pain medication. One slip up and he refuses to treat you. Does not matter how many years you've been part of the program. He doesn't treat you, his PA gives you your prescriptions. He's no where to be seen. Highly recommended cares about your needs and what else is ailing you

Just finished my first appointment with Dr Downey. He couldn't have been better. I'm coming to him from another pain management practice. Dr Downey made the transition as painless as he could. We discussed some alternatives to some of the things that I had been doing. I'm looking forward to working through these new ideas and seeing positive results. Dr. Downey is very personable as well as professional! The staff is very nice. I would recommend this doctor and office to anyone!!

I have been going here for 19 years. Best dr in this town. He listen and understands what you tell him. I see his PA most of the time wonderful kind people. If you need a great pain mgmt dr call his office. If not for him I would not be on my feet and able to to work and have a quality of life.

Life saving for those who truly need it! I have zero problem saying that Dr. Downey saved my life. He is the most caring, knowledgeable, sincere doctor I have ever visited. Dr Downey is a wonderful Doctor. I have been going to him for three years. He listens to you and offers all kinds of treatment. I will continue to see him and I will recommend him. Also his staff is great.

I don't understand the low ratings. This doctor has treated me with the utmost care and consideration for my condition. I would offer him a higher rating if there was one. He simply expects you to do your part in your treatment so he can effectively do his. If you aren't willing, you tie his hands.

I would not recommend going to these so called pain management clinics. I saw Dr. Downey a few months back and he has terrible bedside manners. As for just prescribing pain medicine when you go in and see him, he referred me for and MRI and a appointment in 6 weeks. He could have put me on something besides Motrin, or at least a steroid pack. Go to a specialist for your specific problem and don't waste your hard earned money and time on Dr Downey or any pain management centers. God Bless! The doctor is excellent. The PA not so much. So far. I've only seen the PA once.

I have been seeing Lauren who is a P.A at the Pain Clinic and she is so easy to talk to. I was in a car accident a few years ago and it has left my legs permanently damaged with a lot of pain. I'm worried about the opioid addiction but unfortunately, I have to take medicine to get through the day. I have decreased significantly with my medicine since I first started out here. When I told them that I wanted to come off of all medicine they supported me. Which shows that they aren't in it just for the money. They no longer accept my insurance so I have to pay $150 every 10 weeks. I was unable to get off all meds, but like I said earlier, I am down to 1 medicine. I highly recommend this place for pain management. If I wasn't happy in the least bit I wouldn't pay full price. I would go to the other 2 doctors that do accept my insurance. I thank God for Dr. Downey every day! He has been my pain management doctor for over 15 years. Without him I would have been bedridden years ago. I have several inoperable spine conditions causing severe pain. Because of Dr. Downey I have mobility and less pain. He and his staff are very friendly and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Downey and his office staff use to be amazing. Recently they have changed almost his whole staff and they are lazy and rude and do not care about the patients! My husband has never had to wait more than a day for his prescription until this new staff, something that you were required to wait for for 24hrs has now turned into an almost 48hr wait! These patients are receiving pain meds for severe pain, going without for a day can bring a grown man to his knees and to tears because of the pain. This isn't a joke to these patients and obviously this new staff doesn't understand that! It's sad because Dr. Downey is such a good dr! Dr Downey and his office staff use to be amazing. Dr. Downey is very attentive to his patients and he makes every effort to help each one. Furthermore, he has an awesome staff.

Dr. Downey & everyone in his office have always been nothing but helpful,nice & always pleasant.
