Dr. John A Dorizas

Dr. Dorizas is incredible! It took me over 10 years until I finally came across a GP who took my pain seriously enough to refer me to Dr. Dorizas. I could tell from my first appointment with him that I was finally in the right place! He was honest about what it would take to get a proper diagnosis and then treatment. He ended up performing an arthroscopic nerve release surgery on my right shoulder and was honest about my prognosis and was quick to respond to any concerns I had after the surgery. Incredible, compassionate doctor of upstanding character. Highly recommended!

I had to have a rotary cuff surgery on my right arm. A few people were saying it was something else. Dr. Dorizas nailed it the first visit and not only that..He did an excellent job on my right shoulder and I am no longer in pain and my therapy has been very fruitful. A Godly man as well. It blessed me that He asked if He could pray before my surgery. I give God glory for this man of God! I truly recommend Dr. Dorizas because He is a man of high standards .

I had had a frozen shoulder (R) for about 2 years. Nothing worked- chiropractic visits, burned up rehab visits, etc. I was referred to a doctor down the hall from Dr. D & hated every visit. The pain, the lack of compassion & the thieving of every insurance dollar. I was leaving the unsympathetic doctor's office one day & just walked in to Dr. D's office (thinking the worst they could say is "no"). Turns out I did not need a referral since I was already seeing a like doctor (this was going to be my 2nd opinion option under said referral). I set an appointment. Returned to Dr. D on my appointment day CERTAIN it would end like the others. Dr. D listened. Dr.D FIXED me with 3 injections! 3 injections- not surgery like the others wanted. He's an amazing doctor!

WORST DR. EVER. TORN HAMASTRING IN 3 PLACES, IN SEVERE PAIN AND WAITED 3 HOURS, GAVE ME NO PAIN MEDICATION AND I'M NOT A DRUGEE. WHAT ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON IS NOT GOING TO KEEP PATIENT OUT OF PAIN. I STAYED UP FOR 8 NIGHTS CAN'T SLEEP, ALL I HAVE IS BENADRYL AND FLEXORALL WHICH HELPED NONE. I UNDERSTAND ALL THE DRUGGEES IN THE WORLD HAVE HURT THE NORMAL PEOPLE. I CAN'T WORK, CAN'T SLEEP, AND AM DYING IN PAIN. thanks for nothing......the worst

Dr. Dorizas operated on me about ten years ago. He was wonderful. He explained everything in detail; he was kind and answered all questions; he demonstrated that his patients are his priority; and my surgery and treatment outcomes were wonderful - I couldn't expect more (and was surprised at how well everything went). He recently operated on my husband and again, we had a wonderful experience. He is completely professional and has such wonderful character. Doctors in other cities have commented on Dr. Dorizas' excellent ability. He is the best experience for any doctor we have ever had.

I really appreciate Dr. Dorizas, he understands my unique situation as I have some congenital deformities. It's good to have a doctor who has actually seen my special issues before as it's not very common.

He is a Godsend! He figured out what dozens of doctors could not figure out for 5 years. I seriously started thinking I was actually crazy as some suggested. Had I known about Dr. Dorizas 5 years ago, I'd still be on active duty in the Marine Corps serving what I thought was my life's purpose. In addition to his expert ability to diagnose and figure things out, he has the best bedside manner I've ever seen in any doctor. The wait time is about average, but I'd wait hours on end for this guy.

I was extremely nervous and anxious about my diagnosis and possible treatment options as I have LUE prosthesis and am left with little option for being without use of my RUE. I feel Dr. Dorizas put me at ease, was very informative about diagnosis and treatment recommendation with honesty! I would highly recommend this physician to a family member or friend.

First class Professional. Personable. Knowledgeable. Highly skilled. Experienced. Compassionate. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dorizas. Just terrific!

Highly recommend Dr. Dorizas. I’d been having pain in my right shoulder to the point that I had to use my left hand to lift things from the oven. He was able to make a diagnosis with just a physical exam and then give 100% relief with a shot!! It felt miraculous. He’s also performed ACL surgery on my son, and amazingly, he knew exactly what was wrong with him by simply asking a few questions, and then he used an MRI to confirm what he knew.
