Dr. John D Dickinson

I have not had surgery yet, I have seen Dickenson a couple times, he is absolutely an amazing physician. I’ve read most reviews about him and they are on point. He is the best!

Dr. Dickinson is an excellent highly skilled highly trained neurosurgeon who was able to make my life great again. He was willing to preform my surgery when it was inconvenient for him but was the best for me. He explained everything before the surgery and the follow up visits were also very beneficial. Dr Dickinson was an answer to our prayers. My wife needed surgery to repair spinal surgery from degenerate disc disease and clean up three other Neurosurgeon's surgeries. It sounds like they had done a poor job but they didn’t. However Dr Dickinson did an amazing job of stabilizing the weakest vertebral segments in the toughest parts of the spine, ie, thoraco-cervical and thoracic-lumbar junctions. He has a great skill set and his compassion to care for his patients in very remarkable!!

Dr. Dickenson explains what is happen and going to happen fully, so there are no surprises. He takes all the time you need (no feelings of being rushed out so he can see the next person) and checks on you personally, no with just a phone call from office staff. I was expecting a much more difficult recovery considering what had to be done and the pain I had before the surgery, and was pleasantly surprised to find that my recovery is going much easier than I had dared hope. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Dickinson recently performed a surgical procedure on me. I am extremely impressed with him, he took the time to explain the procedure, the healing process and what I would expect. He also was very direct in explaining when the procedure would and would not be effective. After collecting additional information we jointly decided to move ahead. He was genuinely concerned about my welfare throughout this process. The hospital staff commented frequently what a great doctor he is and how careful he is in surgery. Some Dr.'s make you feel like you are just part of their daily assembly line drudgery. Dr Dickinson made time to discuss and answer my questions and was direct with his information, I appreciate that. I highly recommend Dr. Dickinson.

Dr.Dickinson has truly been a miracle worker for my back problems! He has great bedside manor, he goes above and beyond any other neurosurgeon that I've ever had!. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great doctor. Takes time to go over all concerns. Staff was friendly and very helpful. When we had concerns he took the time to fit us into his schedule to address our concerns. Highly recommended!

Dr Dickinson is an excellent surgeon. Once he saw my MRI and saw the pain I was in, he actually offered to perform the needed surgery to repair my lower back the same day! I had eaten so I had to wait, the surgery was performed the next day. I was able to have the surgery and go home 2 hours later. I’m one week out and have been pain free since the surgery. He explained the procedure and my rehab extremely well and was very friendly and easy to talk to. I was very lucky that my wife (who works in the medical field) and her friends recommended him to me.
