I love everything and everyone about the ppl at Dr deans office. I’ll be back for my next procedure.

Finding the office was very easy. It's located inside of the Womens Hospital located on Rue de La Vie, on the fourth floor. The office was nicely decorated and well lit. Mrs. Yolanda was very polite, helpful and nice. She got me checked in and registered in a timely fashion. It was my first consultation and the wait time to verify everything and fill out the paperwork was about 35-60 mins total. Nicole came and got for the appointment and did all the necessary questions and took the pictures. She was very nice and informative she answered all the questions I had. Dr. Dean seemed really nice, informative and straight to the point. He's board certified and has plenty credentials. He explained what he could do to help my situation pertaining to my back. We definitely will talk about the pros and cons; I have a few more questions I thought of. I’ve read quite a few reviews about him and still processing it all… So far so good. I had a Breast reduction and a tummy tuck my Scars are awful he only took the bottle Fat of my stomach the top still is the same My Breast are smaller but the scar go all the way to my back bone nasty Scars I’m Ashamed to tell people I had plastic surgery I did more harm to my body than good

I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago and i must say the staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Dean did an excellent job on me. I would recommend him to anyone.?

In November 2020, I had a mini tummy tuck and 3 hernia repairs done by Dr. Dean. He was nothing less than AMAZING. His nurse was always comforting and my results are astonishing. I would recommend him to anyone! And will definitely be back to see him! Thank you Dr.Dean!!

Dr Dean and his staff are the most caring and patient people. Every visit I was made to feel welcome. I have been seeing Dr Dean since 1998 when I had breast cancer the first time. UPDATE: Three years later . Tissue never returned . Awesome work . I would never go to anyone else. A friend informed me about this surgeon- I personally saw my friends chest before his gynecomastia surgery and after . Perfect results were performed. I had a consultation- I believe on a Tuesday and had the surgery on (3 days later )Friday afternoon. I could tell the results would be perfect from the first time I was able to shower after surgery. I am post op 4 weeks and my chest is perfect. I am very impressed, to say the least . Dr. John Dean is truly an amazing surgeon . I had an arm lift. The only thing different from my before and after pics is the awful scar from the side of my breast, my arm pit to damn near my elbow. I went back after several follow ups and he admitted there was no change yet offered to redo the surgery if I paid the hospital fee. I told him and his nurse that I couldn’t afford that bc I had just paid a large sum of money to have the procedure done, as well as I had done nothing wrong. Because I couldn’t pay the hospital fee AGAIN, my arms were never corrected and I am more self conscious of my arms now than before the nightmare started. I was very disappointed that he didn’t stand by his work and correct my arm lift. I consider myself butchered and botched! I had an arm lift. I am in love with the results. The journey was well worth it. Dr. Dean was very professional and caring. My nurse Mrs. Nicole never missed a beat.. If I needed to call her 3 times a day she was there. Thank you guys so much.

Not only is Dr Dean an amazing surgeon, he is kind to his patient. I really needed a tummy tuck after having a huge kid and losing weight. Not only are my result far beyond my expectations, his after care is amazing. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, and lipo, his was a huge surgery. The day after my surgery I had one tiny bruise. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in my right breast on October 19, 2019. After a week of uncertainty, anxiety, stress, and worry, I had a consultation with Dr. Dean. For the first time since my diagnosis, I felt at ease and calm. He explained everything to me in a professional way and with a great bed side manner. I went to dr. Dean for a breast reduction surgery and I’m extremely happy with my results! I have had zero complications and everything is healing beautifully. Dr. Dean is a very knowledgeable surgeon and very open to answering any questions or concerns I may have. His nurse, Nicole, is also amazing. Anytime I needed to talk to her about my recovery, I would send her an email and she would respond in less than 24 hours. They are a wonderful team and make you feel very comfortable and confident in knowing you made the right choice. Also, the technique Dr. Dean used on me is not one I’ve seen before my surgery, but because of it, I’ve had less scarring due to no vertical incisions meeting the horizontal incision. A year ago this month, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My specialist referred me to Dr. Dean for the reconstruction following my mastectomy. Throughout the process, Dr. Dean and his staff have always been kind and gentle. They have walked with me through each step, have always prepared me for surgical procedures, expectations and took care of my worries along the way. He is warm, kind, friendly, funny and professional. I can promise you that he wants you to be happy with the results and will make it happen! I will return in the future (for something "FUN") and refer any and every one that I know! Thank you, Dr. Dean, Nicole and the entire staff for making a difficult time in my life a lot easier!

Dr. Dean is Awesome! He always listens and explains every procedure that will take place. He is very knowledgeable and shows genuine concern. I have never been to a doctor so rude

I am so dis please with my surgery,Like, for example my back , I’ve expressed over and over how my back has started hurting....since surgery, never once in my life have I suffered with back pain....’next my body looks like BOTCH! I asked for a flank and bra fat to be lipped, well it’s all still there , I have two long cuts coming from both sides.. my armes are still the same, and still look the same. And I know my arms are still the same.. same issue with my thighs.!! I should have followed my first mind, instead of thinking I was get a deal, I wouldn’t Recommend any one to let him touch your body, it’s so bad , he had to agree with me and say he see what I’m talking about.. and give me another date to come in.. I had my surgery in July, and I still have to sleep sitting up! I’m telling anyone else ,please do not let Dr.Dean touch your body if it’s cosmetics ! I’m very displeased..... oh one last thing, he cut me low so the cut could be hidden, well I was thinking after 3 months, as I was told!! Christy Richards communication was horrible, I almost lost my job because of her neglecting way on sending my release form to my job. I called this woman on the daily basis once every morning and received a call back around 3 pm and in one instant, she claimed to sent me an email and never received it and I had to prove to my job what she was doing, making me drive an hour away from my city to get one simple paper that took 2 min to get instead of her emailing me or faxing it. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Dean's work but just his assistant that gave me trouble. I'm a patient and she should've treat me as one. Dr. Dean has got to be one of the top plastic surgeons in the State. He repaired my daughter's botched septoplasty/rhinoplasty that had been done about a year before. Her nose was literally "falling" bc of the incompetence of her first surgeon. Dr. Dean not only repaired the mistake, but made it look better than it has before any of the surgeries! A few days after surgery, Dr. Dean said that my daughter was still swollen, but that would go down in time. I told him that the "swelling" looked 100% better than her nose had looked before his surgery! He's that good! Also, the staff and his nurse, Christy, are prompt and friendly. If you are ever considering rhinoplasty or septoplasty, check with Dr. Dean. He made a huge difference (a positive one) in my daughter's life. Dr. Dean saved my daughter's botched septo/rhinoplasty from another surgeon (not within this group) the year before. He is kind, professional, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. The staff is wonderful, and his nurse, Christy, is phenomenal.

I had a breast reduction 5 weeks ago and it is totally awesome! 2 years ago I also had a tummy tuck and my stomach is flat as a board to this day. After having a horrific scar left from a previous abdominal surgery that left me in constant discomfort, Dr. Dean truly changed my life for the better. I only wish I had had the surgery sooner! I had several benign lumps in the tissue of both breasts removed by Dr. Dean and even I can't see the scars! Approximately two years after the surgery, I got pregnant and had a worry that the surgery may have affected my ability to breastfeed. I shouldn't have worried at all! Dr. Dean's skill and experience are second to none and my baby has been able to breastfeed without a problem. I hadn't a mastectomy 3 years ago and had reconstructive surgery the surgery didn't come out good.. I went to Dr Dean and he said he could help me. Dr Dean did my second reconstructive surgery and did a great job. For the first time in 3 years I look as close to normal as possible. Dr Dean and his nurse are top of the line!! All of the staff are very kind and considerate! Again I want to thank you Dr. Dean for making me feel good about myself!!!

Each of my family members has had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dean at various times in our lives, My husband had melanoma that required a delicate procedure on his face. I had a breast procedure that I had been frightened about and each of my children had procedures, that although small, I wouldn’t have trusted to anyone else. We always knew we were in the best hands we could be in..I always do my medical homework and he is the best in my book!

Several years ago I was involved in an accident at night on a soccer field in which my head was lacerated. Taken to a local hospital, the staff started to fix me up. They had barely started working when Dr Dean, who was also playing in the game, appeared in the emergency room, cleaned himself up and took charge. The wound healed so well that to this day you cannot tell that anything happened to me. His compassion & professionalism was so reassuring, I can't speak highly enough of him. Thank you!

April Pape I'v been a patient of Dr Dean for 3.5 years! He performed breast reconstruction on me twice after having a double mastectomy. (The second time was because of the advances in implants and I wanted to go larger & do fat grafting) The results exceeded my expectations! Dr Dean is extremely knowledgable and experienced in his field. I highly recommend him to all of my loved ones. He is caring, gentle and takes my concerns seriously! I will never doubt that I chose the right surgeon!

Dr Dean is a skilled, caring and amazing Dr. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2015. He was there and has performed multiple procedures on my breasts. From the mastectomy - he installed a tissue expander, and did a left breast reduction so I would not be so lopsided. After the chemo and radiation he performed a DIEP flap reconstruction on my right breast. I just had my last revision surgery with him and could not be more pleased. I highly recommend him and his team!

I wasn't going to rate, but nearly 10 years ago I had s nightmare experience with this doctor. My stitches came out. He ignored the problem , it got worse. He does not stand behind his work.

I would not recommend him AT ALL. Because of this man, my confidence took a "gut punch". My arms are horrible. I was supposed to have a lift and they are worst. I was in my late 20s hen it occurred, so you can imagine how I feel. Also, my breast augmentation incisions will forever be a reminder of the botched job. He is horrible and I feel incompetent.
