Dr. John Raymond Chaconas

First off let me say that Dr Chacnonas is very personable, knowledgeable, and has all the attributes of a great dentist. With that said, the administration running the front desk could learn some manners and what quality CRM is all about. I was scheduled for an appointment that was abruptly canceled due to a sick hygienist. Now, I understand folks get sick, it's life after all, BUT I should not have to go to the back of the line and wait an additional two months for the next available appointment that I already had to wait 2 months for to begin with. What kind of system is that? Anyway, I received a lecture from the receptionist about this and was reminded that I was a no show a couple of years ago as if I'm some sort of "deadbeat" that deserves to go to the back of the line, which was completely irrelevant to this appointment and pretty much solidified my decision right there. Needless to say, my family and I will be going elsewhere for our dental needs. When it comes to bad customer service, I always recommend folks to vote with their feet. She obviously did not see this from the customer's perspective, or simply didn't care.

I am a new patient to this office. I just got a crown done. I have two other crowns done by two other dentists. The first one took months to get used to. The second one, done several years ago, still bothers me. The crown that Dr Chaconas just did felt like my natural tooth from the minute he put it on. I had no idea a crown could feel like this. I am so pleased! His office staff is great, too. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this dentist. All the Dentist wants to do is waste your time max out your insurance and make you come their 10times to get one thing done.

To be short and sweet ... If someone can't handle all of your dental needs, then why not find someone who can. I will say that Dr. Chaconas is super friendly and has always been professional when I have seen him ... but the restrictions and boundaries of what he can do for someone when having teeth problems; especially with any molar type teeth ... leads me to believe I need to find a Dentist who has the knowledge, talent, and ability to take care of all my dental needs. The kind of dentist everyone would like to have

Dr. Chaconas is very good, friendly and makes you feel at home. His office is homey, but also professional. I’ll never go to another dentist again.

The entire office is super sweet and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the whole office for dental treatment. My kids absolutely love Dr. Chaconas and the staff. My whole family gets their teeth cleaned here and any other dental issues we may be dealing with.

I would not go anywhere else. Very friendly and down to earth people!

I suggest Dr Chaconas to all of my friends. We have never had a bad visit or bad feedback from the friends we've sent there. He and his staff are honest and thorough.

MY HUSBAND AND I ARE VERY HAPPY WITH DR. CHACONAS AND HIS STAFF. WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO HIM SINCE MOVING TO TEXAS IN 2012. FOUND HIM ON LINE AND DID SOME RESEARCH AND WAS PLEASED WITH ALL THE POSITVIE REVIEWS. OUR HYGENIST, OLIVIA, IS VERY THOROUGH WITH HER CLEANINGS. About 2 years ago I was looking for a dentist with a good reputation and one who could be trusted to do good work. So I took the recommendation of a good friend. Was he ever right. Dr. Chaconas was great. He is very gentle and really makes sure I was comfortable all through my procedure (cavities). He also took the time to explain everything to me, I never felt like he was rushing. And added bonus the staff were all really friendly. HONEST!!! He's just a great guy with a great ethical way about him. He just does what you need and doesn't try and charge you for the long list of fluff the other office tried to charge me for.

Dr. Chaconas practices dentistry the way they use to do it, where the doctor actually cares about you and doesn't just run up your bill like these corporate places do for profit. He has his own building, he has hygienists that are just so sweet, and his staff up front is always so incredibly nice and caring. Shout out to Terrie! They really try and give you the absolute best care they can and Dr. Chaconas is the most sincere, honest guys I've ever met. You will feel lucky to be a patient.
