My procedure went very well. Dr Carlson and everyone involved in my procedure was amazing and made sure I was safe and comfortable. I received excellent services.

Very nice and kind staff :) very attentive and I was given my results very quickly.

The staff was friendly and efficient, I received lots of information about what would happen as we went along, and Dr. Carlson visited me after I woke up to give me a verbal report on the results, along with printed fotos and info to take home with me.

Dr Carlson and staff were very professional at what they do. They tell you step by step at what is about to take place and before you know it, you're done! Highly recommend!

Extremely, happy with the whole experience. Would highly recommend!

The overall experience was great. The office staff was very disorganized and shorthanded, as per usual. (Also, Almost Impossible to get through the phone lines, ahead of the appointment and took a very long time for someone to call back and leave a message). Otherwise, Dr Carlson and the rest of the staff were very patient and professional. I would definitely return there for future procedures, so long as it does not continue to take 3 to 8 weeks just to get confirmation of doctor referrals, reviews, and appointments set up. Awesome staff and doctor!

Been seeing Dr Carlson for 10 years for my gastritis and other issues. He is very patient and professional. The staff is friendly and professional. Definitely recommend him!!!

Great staff made me feel very comfortable and confident that I would be well taken care of. Doctors were very informative and kind. Thank you for making it an easy pain free test.

Very professional. One and done.

It's not so much Dr. Carlson but his uncaring and unprofessional staff. I have called 5 times to get my medication renewed. The first time put on hold and no one responded for over 10 minutes. Another time put on hold and a busy signal. The other times a prerecording telling me to leave a message, which I did. No one responded back. Other problems as well the past years.

Horrible experience during colonoscopy. Gave minimal sedation while I was clearly in pain. Been to him twice now so this was not an isolated event. If you have Medi-Cal, be prepared to be treated like garbage. Will never go to him again.

Poor in their scheduling on phone. I was put on hold for 8mins then was told I be next. After rhat I was put on their answering voicemail mail. That very disturbing.

Dr. Carlson is great doctor and listen to patient.

I’ve been waiting 3 weeks to get my ultrasound results back I call every day and they say the will get back to me in 24 hours it’s been 3 weeks and nothing horrible front office and ever since my endoscopy and ultrasound I have never even seen dr Carlson

My primary physician referred me to Dr. Carlson for severe diarrhea. Dr. Carlson scheduled a colonoscopy without ever seeing or talking to me. As I was released following the colonoscopy, he prescribed an extremely expensive (in excess of $400) medication for Colitis & scheduled me to return to see him in 4 weeks. When I returned, instead of seeing Dr. Carlson, his nurse saw me. Since I was still having daily problems with diarrhea & since the medication did not help, the nurse advised me to see my primary physician for additional tests. After reflecting on how I was treated, I can only assume Dr. Carlson is only interested in performing colonoscopies where he can earn more money from insurance companies than actually meeting with & treating patients for gastroenterology problems, where most likely he would receive a smaller insurance reimbursement. While waiting in his clinic, my perception is that Dr. Carlson & his colleagues appear to run a non-stop colonoscopy operation that caters to minorities & low income individuals that are not likely to file a complaint when the issue that they came for is not even addressed. Additionally, I requested that I not be given anesthesia during the colonoscopy as I desired to be awake during the procedure, This request was ignored. The office staff was not friendly or welcoming. Dr Carlson was not helpful and had no information after all the tests I did. I had to go to another doctor for treatment!

Outstanding from start to finish for Colonoscopy on 6/10/17. Painless procedure with excellent anesthesia. 20 minute procedure, Board certified, experienced doctor, full written report before you leave the facility. This doctor and his crew are outstanding.

When kt comes to your health care you can't get any better care then from Dr Carlson. He was my mothers attending physician for all her health care needs. Such a kind and caring Dr when it came to his patients. For years Dr Carlson was my mothers Dr and we as a family couldn't ask for anyone better. Dr Carlson treated my mother with care up until the very day of her passing. His staff was also just as wonderful. Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. My colonoscopy was painless. Anesthesia expertly administered. Complete report with photos presented before I walked out of his Pos Palos Salinas facility. 20 min painless procedure; total time from arrival to dismissal....less than 2 hours. Dr Carlson and his whole crew......outstanding and impressive.
