The office mgr waited 10 minutes until my appointment to call and tell me that referral expired after driving from Oklahoma. Then had the nerve to tell me that she doesn't check the insurance until the morning. You need better office mgmnt skills lady. I will be sure to inform Tri-care about how they comduct business!

With the complete utter disregard of your office staff. I have chosen to go to another doctor. They refuse to help resolve a situation that was actually so easy to fix with just 1 call to the insurance company. But refused to do anything on their end.. Now, I can not get a MRI until after I see Dr. Caras. So I would have to have another office visit that is 1hr 1/2 drive there & back. All because they refuse a call to my insurance. Even after telling them to check with my insurance about my name change before sending the script for the MRI (because the MRI places will Not accept scripts for another person with another name that is not mine) they still out right refused to call my insurance & sent the script to my house with the wrong last name ANYWAY. When I tried to talk to Dr.Caras to get this straightened out, they told me that I would not be allowed but couldn't give reasons for their lack inabilities to pick the phone to confirm with my insurance since they have my social security number& the insurance that I use in their files. The doctor is wonderful... but his office is just horrible to deal since they lack the common sense or humanity to try to work through simple tasks. Megan, the office manager, obviously given this information since I spoke with her can not even seen how simple this task is to fix but also refused to pick up the phone to resolve a simple task to help a patient of 2yrs with Dr. Caras & just call the insurance company.
