HORRIBLE! I had a FEVER and he 1) didn't believe me 2) sent me to get an MRI that I didn't need which is 2K out of pocket. 3) I was forced to go to an emergency room 2x because he didn't believe me. That is 3K out of pocket. He treated me with misogyny and now I have to pay at least 6K BECAUSE OF HIS INEPTITUDE!

We were looking for local primary care as my husband usually sees doctors at the VA. We both see him and feel we get good care, referrals and advice. His staff is friendly and easy to work with. His records are not digital and there is no "patient portal" if that is important and he would not win any rewards for his bed side manner. But if you are looking for consistent, expedient care from a doctor who makes his own contact calls, Dr. Boyd is your guy.

Horrible doctor, no way to contact for emergencies, staff is confused and drop the ball all the time. Leave his practice and find someone who actually returns your calls

My Son’s family doctor Dr. Boyd. He is knowledgeable and was able to give correct diagnosis about his problem. We are glad that we found him. AMRich

My husband has been seeing Dr. Boyd for about 15 years now. He went in about 6 months ago for swelling in his legs, Dr. Boyd told him "he was fat". About a month ago he went back in for a cough that he's had for several months and Dr. Boyd told him he had acid reflux and to take Nexium. Last Thursday my husband went back in for more swelling and Dr. Boyd did another blood test, told him to go to the hospital, and it turns out he has end stage renal failure and will need a kidney transplant, hence the swelling and coughing. We have lab reports from a year ago that showed my husband was already in stage 4 kidney failure, and Dr. Boyd didn't seem too concerned about it, he should have sent him to a kidney specialist asap. Now my husband is going to need dialysis within the next couple of months and ultimately a kidney transplant at the age of 47. If he had actually taken all his lab tests and symptoms seriously then we might not be in the situation that we are right now. He is lazy, and

Both myself and my wife saw Dr. Boyd last week and are totally satisfied. We feel that we have finally found a primary care physician who will answer our needs. We are scratching our heads about some of the less than positive reviews we have read on this site because that is simply not the Dr. we met. Dr. Boyd was warm, caring, and thoughtful. He did not rush and did everything we could have expected to sort through the various questions and issues we had about our health.

He seems to hate his job and does not take his patients very seriously. My husband and I have seen him on several occasions and every time we do, he makes us feel like we are incompetent to understand anything. He will answer questions but in a condescending way. He has misdiagnosed my husband a couple of times because he always seems to be in a hurry and refuses to help with any more than one problem at a time. He keeps insisting you make another appointment. I do not recommend.

Dr. Boyd has always treated our family members with compassion and caring. He is straightforward in his diagnosis and is always ready to explain things which might be unclear to us.

Uncaring, cold and condescending. I would never recommend Dr. Boyd.
