John Franklin Ball

Dr. Ball replaced both my hips one year apart over twenty years ago and I have had no problems at all. He made sure that I was not in pain at any time during my recovery and that I was completely rehabilitated before I was released.He is kind and patient and listens to what you are saying. The staff at Dr Ball’s office are the best, efficient, friendly and smiling.

When he's on call for St. Bernards at night, he doesn't listen, if you tell him you're allergic to a medication and that the other med he's offering along with that one has never worked for you before he will still try to give them to you. I had to refuse the one I'm allergic to which upset the nurse but went ahead and accepted the other one in less than 15 minutes it was like I was never given anything at all, the nurse called him and told him and he prescribed another dose of the same medication which still didn't work so I was in such severe pain most of the night and didn't get any sleep at all. I would never recommend him to anyone, not even a dying dog.

Cloptin Clinic is a beautiful medical building inside and out. Always spit shined clean. Several other doctors work there also. Patient traffic flow is smooth and well organized. The time in the waiting room is very short. Waiting on Dr Ball in his exam room is even shorter. I just love him because he's very smart and knowledgeable in his field of orthopedics. Plus he's so nice and has a great sense of humor! I am always pleased with my visits to the Clinic. Definitely giving him and his staff 8 stars out of 5!! Dr. Ball’s kindness and understanding of a condition that has left me in a considerable amount of pain for the past 7 months was so appreciated. He took a lot of time answering questions and I was very relieved when I left his office. Everyone there made me feel like they truly cared from the people scheduling appointments to the nurses and everyone in between. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ball and his staff to family and friends in the future. Dr Ball is a Very kind, attentive Doctor and explains in great detail. He was wonderful to me and my family as I had total knee replacement . His staff complements him well as a well as the nursing staff & physcial therapy staff at St Bernards. My care was above and beyond! I'm very grateful & blessed to know him and the nurses and therapists that have helped me! Remarkable team! Highly recommend them! Most importantly A huge Thank you to all of them for my care!

Was unsympathetic and did not even return call for over 2 weeks about imaging results. Radiologist report said one thing and the doctor said another. Had to call multiple times to get results after getting medical records and was lied to about results due to doctor being unaware that I had the medical records and the radiologist report already with a second opinion.
