John Robert Ameen

Dr. Amen has been the only OBGYN I have ever went to. I have been seeing Dr. Ameen since I was 15 and I am now 41. Dr. Ameen delivered my first son in 2000 and he delivered my other son in 2017. Yes that’s right my 2 boys are 17 1/2 years apart. I was told my percentage was very low to get pregnant but there is always that small chance. Well I was in that small chance apparently ???? but I wouldn’t trade my boys for nothing now in the world.Dr. Ameen is an amazing doctor. I hope you enjoy your retirement. You will be very missed! Amazing Dr and is very compassionate to his clients. He has helped me through so much and goes above and beyond!

I called and tried to make an appointment with Dr.Ameen as a private patient. I was told he wasn't accepting any patients who weren't insured. Well I couldn't very well apply for Ten care until the pregnancy was established by a Dr. With that being said I went ahead and made an appointment with another Dr. at the hospital to establish pregnancy so that I could get insurance and then try to get in to Dr. Ameen. Well after doing so SHA now says I can't switch Dr's? Are you kidding me? Hello I am the one delivering the baby and they are telling me I can't choose who I see? Dr. Ameen is an amazing doctor

I had dr amen as my obgyn and he was a awesome doctor.

It was terrible! He doesn't need to be a doctor! I saw him for months and he kept treating me with two different medicine's. Neither worked! I had surgery! 9 months down the road I still had the problem and another gynecologist found it by a test the very first visit! Dr. Ammen is nice has good bed side manner, but if he can't give u a test for a std you have had for 9 months he just sux!! As simple as that! I can't believe he didn't test me for it!! Months and months I suffered because of him!
