Doesn’t have time to care. Does not return phone calls anymore. Old receptionist was friendly ( Barbara) she would at least let us know that he received the messages. Don’t think the new receptionist does. Must be related.

He doesn’t care. Office lady short and condescending. Don’t waste your time

I have been seeing dr Rothfield for over 4 years. He has helped me deal with my neuropathy and other issues. He knows his stuff. You would be lucky to see him. Highly recommend. Frank covich. Chico

Don't bother. He's not interested. He's got other things on his mind, other things to do, and he's not interested in your petty little problems. The sooner you accept that the sooner you can start giving your money to a doctor who cares.

I called for an appointment and had to wait about a month before something was available. No problem; I understand that the doctor is busy. The office/receptionist called to confirm the appointment the week before - when we were on vacation. Since I wasn't home to "confirm the confirmation", my appointment was cancelled. Even worse, the office/receptionist told me that this happens with some regularity and implied that it's the patients' fault. I am going to see a different neurologist.

Extremely knowledgable and compassionate doctor. I felt I learned so much and feel much calmer about my condition! His staff is very kind and helpful.

Not enough time to spend with me & listen to my questions, or at least acknowledge my issues as my reality even when not worst neurological problem he has with extreme situations; he is always on-call with hospital & while I understand that, he was distracted during appt; he had to go find charger for lap-top a couple times; I left feeling worse than when I went into office from an emotional perspective..

The doctor is very good. Patient and takes time to listen. I will not be going back because his receptionist is so rude that I’m upset every time I have a need to make an appointment or go back to the office. Obviously I am not alone! I’m dying and she seems to enjoy making me miserable! Sad since I like the doc so well, but not going back!

I've been going to this Dr. for approx. 15 years ! He's extremely intelligent ~ most people don't understand him. Give him a chance, don't be demanding or pushy ! Tell him you didn't understand & ask him to please explain. What I did was say "Whoa- Wait a minute Time Out ! Let's Dumb it down for me, would ya ?" Everything was different from them on . . . The staff is EXCELLENT - Barbara & Amy always have a smile & They will relay any concerns you have on to the Dr. for you !

Dr. Rothfeld was very kind and took a lot of time with us at each appointment.
