Dr. Joel Elvin Johnson

I was struggling with knee pain and swelling since I was young, even told I would need to have knee surgery and overtime have a loss in knee cartilage. Long story short, many years after, when I moved to Oklahoma, I started to have back pain from a car incident in 2012. Leaving me desperately looking for a Chiropractor. I was extremely happy once I knew Dr. Johnson's location was right around the corner. Upon my appointment, he helped to relieve my knee pain and soon I realized there was no need for any knee surgery. Dr. Johnson was/is amazing, very knowledgeable, and he helped me in so many ways, my pain was literally insane, he gave solutions in which was basically a natural born way of science and proper care for ones health. He wears his title well. It may be hard to get in because he is that well educated in what he does, he cares for his patients and listens attentively. He is very clear, precise and his office is nice and clean. You are appreciated for all you do!!

Dr. J Is undoubtedly the best chiropractor I have ever gone to and I've been to several. Hes also a laid back good guy The only chiropractor I will go to Also very good staff laid back atmosphere

This man is a great, i had a hip out of place and lower back pain he had me fixed up in no time and feeling great again. everyone at this office is kind and helpful.

Dr J and his staff are very welcoming and upbeat. Patients are greeted and checked in quickly. However, once patients are with Dr J, he takes his time explaining and adjusting based on each person’s needs. As a family of 5, we each have different needs and he takes the time to address each of us individually. He and his team go the extra mile and we can’t recommend Northside enough!

After my wife went to Dr Johnson and liked him so well, I started having back pain after a surgical procedure. I was able to get an appointment right away. I felt so much better after his treatments. His office staff is very nice. We appreciate him and will continue to go to him.

Every experience at Dr J’s office is phenomenal from start to finish. His staff is incredibly welcoming, efficient and friendly. Dr J listens to your concerns at each visit and I always know he hears me, because I always feel better. He has helped my entire family and we are so thankful for him and his staff!

Dr. J has made my first chiropractic experience the best. He knew exactly where I was having tension in my back just by looking at my x-rays. Later on, he helped me get back in running shape when my hips were a little out of alignment. Very knowledgeable and very friendly staff!

Any questions, about stretching exercises, workout machines, etc Dr Joel has always answered my questions! I also like the fact, have you not seen him in a while due to serious injury/ he wants to see an x-ray before doing any adjustments; @ least he did on me!

Dr. Johnson was the first doctor who actually took the time to X-ray my hips & shared what was really wrong with me! His treatments have given me so much relief until I can get proper surgery! He is so kind & very knowledgeable— listens & shares info to help make things better!

We love it there. He’s knowledgeable about what he does and without fail he discusses things with my kids that we’ve talked about in the past. He makes you feel like he really knows you and cares about your life and well being. Just a great guy all around. The staff is just as wonderful!!

The visits can be quick and easy if that's what you want, or Dr. J will take extra time to listen to your needs and offer assistance and advice if that's what you prefer. His techniques have been proved successful in my health and lifestyle and i really have enjoyed going there since i've moved to Owasso for the past year and a half. His staff is friendly and accommodates my schedule with ease. His massage therapist is the best! 5 stars overall.

Dr J and staff have treated my young people (ages 5 & 15) as well as myself for over a year. Our Aches/pains/areas of concern are always addressed in a professional manner. Very friendly and always answers my questions and takes the time to explain. what’s wrong and how He’s going to help fix it. Plus the staff is very friendly and professional.

Came to him with years of pain from back surgery that resulted in drop foot and years of a walking limp. His knowledge and his massue where able to relive my knotted up back . He has educated me on what was needed to correct as much of my spine issues. Over 30 years of bad sleep I now have restful sleep. I always recommend him to friends.

Great doctor and wonderful staff!

I was in incredible pain. He told me what happened and made an adjustment. POOF no more pain (well, except a little residual from hurting my back to start with). I had pulled a vertebrae out of alignment and it was pinching a nerve. He knows what he's doing

When I first came in I could hardly walk or move. So much pain and terrified of what was going to happen to get me better. He fixed me right up without causing pain! Love all he has done to help me since that first time.

Dr. J is thorough yet does not push treatment that is not needed or desired. He is easy to talk to and listens to what is bothering you.

Fantastic Dr. Very accommodating. Got relief after the first visit.

I have been to so many chiropractors over many years. Dr. Johnson is by far the best. He will not pressure you to bring your entire family for twice wkly visits, or claim to cure every possible medical problem under the sun. He will not tell you to disregard your medical doctors advice. He will not tell you to not vaccinate or to avoid dr prescibed antibiotics when your kid comes down with a 104 temperature and has pneumonia (yes i had one prior chiropractor tell me that before!!). He won't claim that he can cure your kids asthma. Dr. Johnson will take that pain out of your neck and back, and he always has a big smile. He will recommend how often to come in but he won't make you sign any crazy contracts for treatment plans. He is highly skilled and I am so grateful I found him. I can now turn my head fully both ways and my neck is always so much better after I get adjusted. He does not try to sell you any hocus pocus homeopathic medicines or do any wasting of your money on useless acupuncture. He is an expert spinal adjustor and I highly recommend him if you have headaches, neck pain, or anything related to back pain! He also has a massage therapist and if you get a massage also you get a discount. If you are unsure of who to go to, choose Dr. Johnson. I have been to so many chiropractors over many years.
