Dr. Joann Carcaterra

Have known Dr. Carcaterra since she was juast a Phys. Asst. many years ago. She is one of the best doctors I have ever known.

Always listening and very knowledge. I trust her not only with my care, but I also referred my daughter to her as well. I am very happy with my care.

The Doctor herself is magnificent ,being a patient of hers for many years however the 3 star instead of 5 reflects the unprofessional response time from the office .I had a procedure done on the doctors recommendation & I called the office several times & for results & they never responded .It seems that they only respond on negative news however professionally that just does not work .Good news should have a response as well .

I have been a patient for 3 years. For the last year I have watched the service and professionalism in her office plummet. Although I still believe in Dr. Carcaterra, her staff is atrocious.

Very caring

I did not stay with this practice long. My dissatisfaction was not so much with the doctors, but the office itself. The wait time, even when I had an early morning appointment, was ridiculous. The doctors were average in their care and mannerisms. There was a receptionist who had a strong accent and was difficult to understand and always seemed to be in a hurry. I had a very difficult time getting the results of blood work and I suspected that they did not send it out. Also the girl who took my blood appeared to be sick and was sniffling and coughing. I requested billing statements from this office as well as many others over the years. This was the only office whose manager would not mail them (my only option was to have them faxed or pick them up). Finally I was totally disrespected by an office staff member who ignored my request for assistance yet helped the woman after me. When I asked to speak to her and brought it to her attention, rather than apologizing she stated 'I don't work the front desk! Is that what you wanted to tell me?' So rude! (The receptionist was kind enough to assist)
