The doctor and office staff are nice, but when it comes to the billing part I was charged extra during a Wellness check up visit (which my insurance pays 100%, so it surprised me when I got a bill). During this visit the doctor asked if there's any other concerns and I stated that my child sometimes complains of chest pains after eating and the doctor replies "oh just give her otc anti-acid and see if that helps" I was charge a "chest visit". No other exam was done for the chest, no blood work, nothing just a simple statement. I do not like that I can not express any concerns during a wellness checkup without being charged extra. Amazing Doctor! Very professional, lovely with the kids.
Absolutely love Dr. Purcell and Step Pediatrics! They have been a godsend to my family. She is wonderful when it comes to complicated medical cases, and even better she is a great medical team leader. She will pull together all of the specialist doctor's information and look at the whole person instead of just one organ system. She has helped my children grow into fine young adults!

Dr Purcell is a real doctor!! I felt very comfortable and she made my son feel comfortable! Seemed like she really cares and she was right on the money when she diagnosed my son with strep throat. A big thank you to her and her staff!!!!!
