I saw the pa. I liked her but I don't like the office staff. I tried to get answers on why It's taking so long for my referral to be submitted. It's been 8 business days since and they haven't even started on it. All I got was excuses. The pa told me it would take a few days.

I actually had a visit at an alternative doctor today, due to Dr Allmon refusing to see patients with any symptoms that maybe leading to a Covid diagnosis. I visited her office after already having had a PCR test that was indeed negative. I was never so upset as when she hustled me out a back door and told me to park out back where they proceeded to perform a rapid test. Also, I called to be seen in the office and never received a call back until the next day, I had called in the morning. I had called the appointment line and the nurse line.

Dr. Allmon is quite possibly the best doctor in the Mid-South. She is thorough and very knowledgeable. Her follow-up is incredible. My family has gone to her for years and she has kept us on track to improving our health. Her office staff is courteous and efficient and you rarely have to wait. Dr . Allmon is the most compassionate and professional that I have encountered. She has shown her dedicated devotion to providing the most optimal care for her patients. In my specific case, she has gone beyond and above to manage my chronic and acute illnesses. Thank you Dr.Allmon

Great doctor, very informative and professional. However, the office supporting this very talented doctor is lacking. One, you can't get in for months at a time. Once you do, you will be in the waiting room for hours. Second, I got an annual physical over a year ago and have now just received a bill for $550. BCBS wouldn't cover parts of this offices annual due to my young age and them deeming the tests conducted to not be necessary. Important information I wish her office would have made me aware about, instead of shoving tests down my throat. When trying to get the billing agency to work with me, they refused. BEWARE!! Dr. Allmon is fantastic. The problem is it’s nearly impossible to schedule an appointment to see her. I’ve been a patient for over a year, my last appointment was in September of 2020. When I left the computers were down and I was told they couldn’t make me an appointment at that time. I called again in December and left a message regarding an appointment. Nothing. In February my prescriptions expired. I called and left another message, still no call until March. I scheduled an appointment in April. When I arrived I was told I couldn’t see the doctor because I was 20 mins late. When I explained that I hadn’t seen the doctor since September and the difficulty scheduling an appointment I was told the responsibility lies completely on my shoulders as they do not proactively contact patients, they also don’t renew RX without a visit. I have called several times to reschedule and have received one (1) call back via a voice recording on Friday after hours. I called and left a message and nothing so far. I’m told that people have better luck sending a request in via the website. I’ve gotten the hint and am moving on, for everyone else don’t make the mistake I did and leave her office without an appointment. Dr. Allmon is fantastic. We moved to Memphis in 2003 I picked her as my Doctor then, she is still my Doctor today!!

I have been patient of Dr Allmon's through four office moves. She is extremely skilled in her treatments and a wonderful bed side manner

Very thorough, and excellent communication skills. She truly listened to my health issues and she did the appropriate testing. I knew I was in the best hands. I would refer her to anyone who asked.

Dr. Allmon is the best. She has been my doctor for 12-15 years. As long as I am in the Memphis area she will be my doctor. When she opens the door to your examination room you will have her full attention for as long as it takes. Dr. Allmon is a wonderful, caring, and extremely patient doctor. Many years ago she welcomed me with open arms, (and that’s saying a lot) cause I have lots of issues and chronic illnesses. I love her preventative measures, and no matter how busy she is, she remains thorough. I followed her to this practice because I couldn’t function without her being my doctor. She has changed my life for the better! I HIGHLY recommend her!

She is the most patient doctor who has ever treated me. She caught my breast cancer (very early on) and I am a male. She also caught a very small nodule on my lower left lung which turned out to be lung cancer. It was caught soon enough that I didn't need chemo or radiation treatment. I would follow her if she moved far away if I could.

She cares about her patients. She takes time to listen. She is very thorough. I highly recommend her! In fact, I have before and everyone who met her have stayed with her.

Dr. Allmon has been my Internist for many years and she is amazing! She's truly one of my heroes. She is very kind, understanding, extremely knowledgeable, and takes as much time as is needed to discuss my very complicated medical issues. She and her staff always put me at ease, and I have complete trust in her and her advice. Can't say enough great about her.
