Great bedside manner. He explained my babies birth defect to me and my husband in terms we could understand and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He took us time with us and we felt like he really cared about our situation and his whole staff was extremely accommodating. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sonek has wonderful bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. I have dealt with a very challenging pregnancy and after hearing the many opinions of other docs that didn’t resonate with me, Dr. Sonek used wisdom in choosing the best plan of care as far as delivery and stay here at the hospital to keep myself and baby safe. I believe he can be thoroughly trusted and is just a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring man. He deserves much more recognition and excellent reviews. This man made two different incorrect diagnoses, was rude on both occasions and actually told me to have a D&C when he couldnt see my baby on an ultrasound. I didnt, and my baby was born perfectly healthy. How many other babies have died because he is incompetent?

With my first pregnancy, I had an ultrasound to "check on the baby" at 41 weeks. He walked in with a trainee, never even spoke to me and began conversing with the trainee about the "kidney abnormality" of my baby. He walked out- leaving me crying and scared- without ever having even made eye contact or acknowledging my existence. Second pregnancy, I was bleeding at 9 weeks. He told me I had never been pregnant and said to schedule a D&C. After refusing, I went on to have a healthy girl. Evil man

Saw him long enough for him to tell me my baby had no heartbeat..... Literally 45 seconds
