Dr. Jimmy Dayland Bowen

I made an appointment. A day an a half prior to my appointment I received a phone call. They requested that I go get an x-ray ASAP so the physician would have it. I did. The morning of my appointment I received a call stating they needed to reschedule my appointment. So I rescheduled for an afternoon appointment and had to wait another 2 weeks.Then I decided that I need to schedule the appointment for the morning. So I called back and switched my appointment from 1:40 pm to 9:10 am. I show up for the morning appointment and they tell me my appointment was for 1:40. They made a mistake and refused to see me at my 9:10 scheduled appointment time. They made the mistake but the patient has to suffer. If I needed to cancel an appointment they require 24 hour notice. But when they tell you to drop everything and drive 23 miles to get an x-ray that is suppose to be ok. I wouldn't see this doctor if I was on my death bed. They can't even admit THEY made a mistake. Their not perfect. No one is. Obviously this doctor and his staff think they are God but they aren't. I guess they expected me to hang around town all day to see this physician at 1:40 when my appointment was scheduled for 9:10 am. Nope! I live 23 miles away. I will never find another doctor as intelligent & understanding as Dr Bowen! He's a very good doctor & has a good sense of humor & if anyone says otherwise they have a problem! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone with Fibromyalgia or any other orthopedic problem. One of a kind! ??

After seeing several doctors who were wrong in their diagnoses and treatments, Dr. Bowen sat and listened to me and not only figured what was wrong, he also showed me the problem and explained all of my COAs. Excellent care is always provided by Dr. Bowen and his staff.

This doctor has an ego problem and needs an attitude adjustment. He does not listen to the actual needs of his patients because he thinks he already knows everything and sometimes he is wrong; he was clueless about my medical condition. He also just needs to answer questions without being a smart alleck. Acted like a jerk and slammed the door when he left. Wasted time and wasted money. Never going back again!
