Dr. Jim Pang JR.

Cami Haddix, who works under Dr Pang, was my mother’s NP. She was extremely unprofessional on several occasions - including not showing up for an appointment with my mother, who ended up having to see a student instead and being totally unapologetic about it. Additionally, it was very difficult to get appointments with her, which is problematic when you have a problem with your medication. But most concerning was the total lack of kindness and empathy she showed my mother, who is older. She screamed at my mother and scared her. I really don’t think she should be working with vulnerable people.

I'M GETTING SPROVADO WAS DOING GOOD THANKS GETTING BETTER BUT IT WAS ADMINISTERED WRONG TWICE A WEEK FOR 4 MONTHS PLEASE RESEARCH

If I could give them negative stars I would this is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever dealt with in my 22 years of living. I have been trying to get them to call in one controlled prescription for 4 days now (Fri-Wed). On Friday they called it into one pharmacy and I then found out that pharmacy was out of said medication with no date on a restock so I found another one that had it in stock and for 4 straight days I have called, emailed, left voicemails done just about everything I could to get them to cancel the first prescription and send in a new one to the new pharmacy. Today Wednesday 1/11/23 was by far the worst they told me it would be called in within an hour early this morning I did not hear anything so out of curiosity I called and it went straight to voicemail I have tried every hour since with the exact same result of it going straight to voicemail until I got a text saying your prescription will be called in by 5:30pm cst which is when the office staff would be leaving for the day. Well it’s 6:51pm cst and NOTHING AT ALL I have now been without my medication for 5 days and have no idea when they will call in a refill. Please save yourself the trouble and frustration and find an office more professional. I am done with this office these workers and everything in between

Office staff work quickly and are incredibly helpful. Nurses and support staff are kind. Miss Washington is a very kind, flexible provider. I have been trying to find a medication that works best for me and she has taken all of my concerns and thoughts into account as she works to find a solution. Anytime I share reservations or express issues regarding side effects, she responds quickly and works to solve the problem so we can find a sustainable solution for my mental health treatment plan. I am grateful to have found this psychiatry office, especially since finding the right medication is always such a headache. Office staff work quickly and are incredibly helpful. Very friendly staff and wonderful providers..a very relaxed and safe place..Ms Washington is the best, very professional and yet friendly and relaxed.

This is a wonderful place! They work with you on every level. After my original psychiatrist suddenly retired, I was hesitant to go to anyone else. But, the office made me feel at ease. Mrs. Garrett is the best thing that’s happened in my life! She listens, gives advice, and you just know she cares. The office staff is helpful and work quickly. Really disappointed with the service. They don’t answer the phone, return phone call or follow up with paperwork unless it’s to get money from you. I submitted an insurance form to them for 2 weeks and it wasn’t touched. After several unanswered phone calls and voicemails the office manager called and said it will be taken care of, then went silent again for 5 days. I had a virtual appointment and they called 3 times that day before the appointment to make sure the co-pay was taken care of. It does not appear that customer service is a priority except to make sure your payment goes through. Really disappointed with the service. Find another group of doctors and nurses to help you. I really should have taken my own advice years ago. Sometime in the past 3-4 years things really started going downhill. I'm not certain of this but I believe Dr Pang bought one or more practices in the past 10 years and his staff is unable to handle the flow of patients...extremely unorganized which led to poor service. It was my hope they would eventually get a handle on it but unfortunately things have just continued to go south. To be fair, Dr. Pang was great but I'm convinced he is unaware of just how poorly serviced his patients are handled from an administrative standpoint. Warning if you decide to use this provider be ready for a rolla coaster ride. They are very un organized and lacking in communication skills. I have called 3 times today for a prescription refill for a medication that this clinic switched me to. I was seeing a provider that has since left this clinic. now i really have to question why she left with the problems. I've run into so many problems since she left. I was called to reschedule my appointment because the provider they assigned me to was going to be out k but now my appt is during my working hours because of what they have available and my job. So I took the appointment. I would just take my break at that time since it was over the phone. They Lady that called said I need your 10 copay. I said just bill me or ill call back and pay. She insisted they need the 10 or I would have to reschedule my appointment. Now I'm already out of medicine and I've already told you I can't walk back across the office and back. She said well call us back. So now I've been out of my medicine for 2 days. Still I had to make 3 phone calls today and still no medicine. Beware!!!!! Don't go here. I was in middle school and was put on 2 medications by this man and, even though they caused me to be depressed and feel really bad, he just kept increasing the dosage on both of them until they couldn't get any higher. It was like this for 4 1/2 years. I've graduated high school now, but because of him, even after getting off the medication (fun fact, I've had 2 doctors tell me that this combination of medicine is extremely bad for anyone), I've developed depression and my anxiety, which was mild-moderate when I went before the medication, is now considered severe. I highly recommend that no one see him. He never learns enough about someone. I had untreated ADHD, which was easy to tell since the doctor I went to after Pang knew I had it upon looking at me, and mild anxiety. But because if him I have severe anxiety, adhd, depression, and insomnia. He has no right to be a doctor. P.S. If your child is telling you they don't like how this medicine makes them feel, don't just ignore it like my mom and this man did. Don't go here. We have tried on several attempts to get the NP to contact us in regards to inquire about the patient needing further evaluation . But they absolutely will not talk to us. The patient is not well wont take medications properly(exceptsleep pill), they took her off bipolar medication, she continues to get worse but our hands are tide. We have reached out to other physicians and have been told the psychiatrist would have to request further testing or evaluation. She as many personalities, anxiety, bipolar, dementia and they feel the answer is bedtime sleep medication that isn't working cause the patient is getting up and down in the middle of the night have full conversation with make believe friend and eating. We want them to have a better life and enjoy life and make sure the patient is getting the right help. But they will NOT return calls( left 9 messages over the last 8 months). Just frustrating . I’ve been going to Dr Jim Pang’s office a little over a year now. He is so nice & caring! The office staff is friendly too.

Dr.Pang an all of his office staff are awesome! They always have a smile an give you a big southern welcome they was very helpful an informative.they will make you feel like one of the family

I love going to see Keona Washington. She is great and treats her patients like she really does care about you. From the little lady that checks you in, to the people that check your vitals and everywhere in between this is one great office.

I love Dr. Pang, and his staff!! With all of the patients they have to see through out a day, they never forget who you are!! They have become a part of my family!! Dr. Pang and his staff have changed my life. Dr. Pang is so easy to talk to, and no matter what he always has a smile on his face. He gets you in and out very quickly, and I feel so close to all of his staff. Jennifer is the best and no matter what the situation is, she is always there and makes the office run so smooth!! Having a mental health care provider that is both experienced and caring is of the upmost importance. I am happy to say that Dr Pang and his staff provide both. He is expert in his knowledge of medications, diagnostics and you can be confident he is able to advise you with any ups and downs along the way. I have been a patient with Dr. Pang for several years. I was treated with the utmost respect and care. I always felt that I could reach out to any of his staff at anytime if I had a problem or a need to. His office is run professionally and maintains a calm environment.

Dr. Pang is wonderful, caring, compassionate, doctor! He is very professional and always treats me with kindness and concern! He always takes the time to talk to me and ask me how I’m doing and seems so Concerned! I would recommend him to anyone that needs a psychiatrist because he is the BEST!!!!!!!

Dr. Pang is very easy to talk to. He will sit and listen to what I say ,then he will make sure we’re understanding each other correctly. This practice is very misleading. My original doctor retired in November and somehow I was referred to this practice. When I arrived, the clerk had me to fill out 20 pages of repetitve information. The staff was very unorganized and the office was staffed with 4 nurse practitioners and Dr.Pang. When I received the called from the office, I was informed that my appointment with Dr.Pang was on a particular day..That information was very misleading.I did not see Dr.Pang. Instead, I was assigned to a nurse practitioner. While waiting for over 2 1/2 to be seen, my anxiety had reached an all time high. Clients were yelling, screaming, using profanity and stating that they would blow up the office. My heart went out when a veteran who stated that he had been there for 2hrs waiting, and the office deliberately lied and said he had his appointment time confused. After my initial visit , I decided that this place was not for me!!! However, I did recieve a call from Jennifer asking me about my visit. After I told her how I felt, she voluntarily told me that she would just cancel my next appointment..This would definitely be one of the many reasons I wouldn't recommend you to go there. I wonder if Dr.Pang knows how Jennifer just erased me from my upcoming doctors appointment. I do not like when the NP wants to portray the role of the doctor. He is the most caring, appreciative, and attentive psychiatrist I've seen. I don't see him as a doctor I see him as my friend. I will always love dr.pang, you definitely don't see doctors like him everyday.

Frequent appointments. Friendly. Listens to problems and does very with including patient in understanding and choice of medications. Give ideas of things in addition to meds that could be helpful. Flexible. I always feel like he is a partner standing at my side working with me. Has always been encouraging.
