Dr. Jill Allen is great oncologist, she is very caring doctor and she is very knowledgeable as well. My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 10 month ago, it was locally advanced pancreatic cancer that was difficult to treat. We went to MGH for help. Dr. Jill Allen and her colleagues Dr. Hong, Dr. Fernandez did great job on my husband’s treatment, after 4 month of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation therapy, Dr. Fernandez was able to remove the tumor completely, and during the surgery, An intra operating intensive radiation therapy was performed to make sure the surgery is successful. Now, it is almost three after the surgery, my husband is cancer free! Thank you so much doctors at MGH, you saved my husband’s life! It is a true miracle! We know that survival rate of pancreatic cancer is 1-3%, we are so fortunate to have you as our doctors, we can’t thank you enough!
