Dr. Unadkat is one of the very best surgeons I have ever met. If it wasn’t for him and his team, I genuinely believe I would have lost my arm. He is very thorough, kind, and caring. He’s never afraid to spend the extra time to explain things to you so you understand what is going on even though he is a very busy man. My son was shot in the hand and suffered very extensive injuries to his hand knuckles were shattered and almost had to loose 3 of his fingers and Dr.undakat did a excellent job on fixing his hand.I highly recommend him.He also is very good a making his patients feel comfortable.

Dr. Unadkat is the best doctor one can have. He is truly an inspiration, because he is not only very knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon, but he is truly patient centered. If you read UPMC values that's a description of who he is. He should be recognized for that and followed as an example by other physicians. I am eternally grateful to him for the care he has provided me with. He truly loves what he does and that reflects on his practice everyday. I wish all doctors could be like him!
