Friendly staff and knowledgeable doctor

This is the most unprofessional place to refer any patient. The administrative assistant refused to see a patient via insurance but when I informed her the patient could pay cash they got really excited and wanted to see the patient. Never mind this patient has an aneurysm that could rupture at any moment. They didn't care about the health of the patient just what they could get from her or her insurance. People in Lumberton who need neuro treatments I would recommend you all go to Duke! If you don't have insurance or difficulty paying they will not refuse to see you. He is not a good listener...Speaks to his computer more than the patient. When I would try to explain my symptoms, I felt like he was putting words in my mouth. Was quick to diagnose and prescribe medication before even scheduling testing to confirm and without really listening to what I had to say. Not a good vibe from him at all.

I have been going to Dr. Zeng for over 3 years for peripheral neuropathy and I have been more than pleased with his services. He has wonderful bedside manners and has always been nothing but caring, compassionate and concerned. Dr. Zeng performed nerve conduction studies on my legs and feet himself in the office. It was nice not having to go to another site to have tests run. I have constant pain in my feet all the time and Dr. Zeng has worked in conjunction with me to find a treatment that will ease my pain. He has finally found two medications that are working fairly well. I see Dr. Zeng every 4 months and he remembers from visit to visit my problem which makes me feel like he truly cares about me as a person. He doesn't rush you through as a patient, he takes his time, asking questions and asking if I have questions of him. That doesn't happen often in todays medical field. His receptionist, Tammy is super as well and very friendly. It's a joy to go into that clinic. I verbally scheduled an appointment here 3 weeks ago with the receptionist and when I showed up 30 minutes early she told me that my appointment was canceled because I didn’t call to confirm. I don’t get that. She didn’t tell me that I had to do that when I made the appointment. I wish I could have an option to rate in -stars. I have suffered from migraines since I was 8 years old. And I’m 52 and they are getting worse. Sorry place of business. He is a wonderful Doctor.Very patient

Have seen many neurologist but none seemed to help me or my medical condition (Vertigo). I have finally found a doctor who has helped me. Dr. Zeng is kind, caring and listens. I recommend him to anyone who is need of a N urologist.

Got in quickly but he was more interested in viewing his computer screen than talking with me. If I questioned something he said, he was rude. I will not go back to him.

I wouldn't even give 1 star. Very rude, I was in his office for a hour and most of the time he spent dictating to his computer. That is something a Dr does after you leave. Did a few presses on my body and said I had fibromyalgia and gave me a prescription. I went in for back pain. The office is OLD and dirty. The staff very incompetent. A lot of fumbling and slow. I would give 0 stars if available. Wasted $200 and time. Cancelled all future appts and procedures. Dont waste your time here. I wouldn't even give 1 star. I have been going to Dr. Zeng for almost 10 years. I suffered from chronic migraines, and he is the first doctor that listened to what I had to say in the state of North Carolina. I had suffered a stroke from a sever migraine, He works with me to manage the pain and keep me functioning. The staff is wonderful. When my children started experiencing issues he was the only one I thought of to treat them. They drive from out of the area to see him. Yes he is short at times, but name me a person who isn't, Yes he dictates as he sees you, Yes he has his own ideas...He is the doctor, but if you have ideas about your treatment and the research to back it up, he will listen and modify. The staff are lazy and unprofessional. When trying to explain something to the doctor he doesn't listen or tell you that your wrong. Would not recommend him to anyone

In and got me out fast within 5min, a waste of money!

I visited Dr. Zeng one day after receiving a CAT scan that was ordered by my GP. Upon entry to his examination room I began to describe my symptoms. He interrupted me quickly and asked when I had the scan. The results were right there on his desk - this proved to me immediately that he had not reviewed my file. As I returned to my description of what I had been experiencing, again he cut me off. He had me to perform a couple of things - and then without deep consideration, made a life-altering proclamation without considering the facts. He was not thorough with me at all, nor was he respectful of my conversation/intellect. If I could give him "0" (zero) stars I would. I visited Dr. Zeng, and I began to describe my symptoms. He interrupted, asking when I had my CT scan. The results were right there on his desk! As I returned to my description of symptoms, again he cut me off. He had me to perform a couple of things - and then without deep consideration, made a life-altering proclamation without considering the facts. All I needed him to do was look at a CT Scan for me. Wouldn't do it. Tried, instead, to diagnose me with something so he could treat it, i.e. make more money. Completely rude. Would not listen to anything I had to say. His support staff were really friendly though so props to them but we don't go to a doctor's office for them.
