One of the most horrible experiences I I have ever received. I came as a new patient do to knee issues. I have never written at response or review but I had to say something to prevent this from happening to another patient. Dr Duncan was very rude. I never felt so belittled in my life I would NEVER refer or even drive his office. Im pretty sure there are some fine Dr’s at The Champion Orthopedic Office but DR Duncan is not one of them. What medical professional enters a room without introducing himself/herself to patient waiting to be seen? What medical professional enters a patient's room to make an assessment, talk or examine a patient without wearing a mask? This particular doctor (suppose to be professional took an oath to not just treat but to protect all mankind regardless of race, color or creed. We are in a "pandemic". This doctor stated, "I had " Coronavirus". Well what about the patient's waiting to be seen that are abiding by the rules implemented by the CDC? This person, has no compassion for others.

Outstanding Surgeon that puts surgery as last resort. He started Sports Medicine in the Central Savannah River area. He replaced my rt knee and initiated very successful Physical Therapy on my hip, neck and shoulders over the years.

It's been awhile since I seen Dr Duncan but He is the Best. I desperately need a knee replacement. If I still had friends in Augusta, Dr Duncan would be the one to do the surgery...

I am now 100 % disabled after having multiple surgeries with him.

Recovery process was very long for what was billed as simple cleaning up of the knee. I was on crutches and cane for 3 months. Had severe swelling for 6 months. The doctor has a good reputation, hopefully he just had a bad day during my operation.

First time I went was a few years ago because my lower back was hurting so bad. The doctor wanted me to walk down the hall and back. Which I did. Then I sat on a table and he pushed on my back in a few places. That was it. Acted like nothing was wrong. Like i was faking. He sent me back to work. Which i did retire with a disibility because of my lower back. His attitude was like OH u can walk and there is no pain when I push on ur lower back. So u r ok. Today my primary doctor sent me there again because I have a bone spur on my heel . Been there for about 6 months. Hurts like no other. X-ray was done prior to going there which showed the bone spur. He looked at my foot. Pushed around in a few spots asking does this hurt. I told him no. Until he pushed on the bone spur. They he said i needed physical therapy . I asked r u serious. He said that is the problem u need to stretch ur foot. I kept asking him is the going to get rid of the spur. He would never answer me. I told him that dont make any sense. I had one before and therapy will not get rid of it. I know my feet. He asked if I wanted an appointment for physical therapy and I said no. Then he said call if u need anything. They do physical therapy there. It's just another way they want to suck some more money out of u. He was rude and unprofessional. Most doctors really really dont.listen to the patients. I will never go there again. Waste of my co-payment. Sorry for venting. Just wanted u to know. First time I went was a few years ago because my lower back was hurting so bad. Knowledgeable and personable. Very pleased!

Very patient friendly. Couldn't have asked for a nicer guy that does a great job. Pec major repair after waiting too long to not need an alograft went great and i'm already back in the gym

Dr Duncan is a kind man and a good doctor, but he often fails to keep or runs late at his Aiken office. My experience is that the front office is very rude regarding his tardiness. If the provider is running late, the least the staff could do is be gracious and try to Be accommodating regarding rescheduling. It would certainly have been more considerate to call and push back appointment times instead of just making people wait. They continue to believe that drs time is more valuable than pts.

I FOUND DR DUNCAN VERY FRIENDLY & MATTER OF FACT.HE TOOK HIS TIME TO EXPLAIN MY HIP REPLACEMENT & THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS. .

16 yrs ago had my first acl reconstruction, then less then a year i had my left acl reconstructioned. Since then I've torn my right scl AGAIN. And I've had neck surgery fro a bulding disc. I havve an appointment the 23... Dr. Duncan fixed me once, plus the new tech. Shoot, I'm so ready to walk without a limp. It doesn't help south being diagnosed with RA abs that fiber- stuff... I saw Dr. Duncan for severe right hip pain. He performed a comprehensive examination including x-Ray, medication, MRI, and ultimately full right hip joint replacement surgery. Dr. Duncan is an experienced orthopedic surgeon and treated me professionally throughout the experience. I returned to work in eight weeks and I now have no hip pain thanks to Dr. Duncan.

He did first acl reconstruction 16 years ago and my right knre torn a lil while ago... I'll the 23rd.... Looking forward to not having my knee look like a flamingo. ..lol

Dr. Duncan was great to deal with, my reason for a "fair" rating is that after my achilles repair he had me starting physical therapy only 4-5 weeks later, which caused my ankle to swell like a beach ball. I had to be rushed into next day surgery to reduce pain and swelling. I have never recovered full use or sensation in that foot, and that was 8 years ago. I now need some additional surgery and I would be reluctant to go back after this experience.

I 've been dealing with Dr Duncan since Jan of 2015 and He has been a great doctor. He has listened to everything I had to say and followed up with me following my ankle surgery.
