Dr. Jessica Panteha Abedi Byrd

Just by reading the last reviews I can tell that I , Monica True, am not the only one ! I WAS until now her patient , but by the last incident at her office when I called with a persistent bronchitis that has been plaguing me for over 5 weeks , the earlier appointment they had for me was June 21st! This is the kind of return that you get at this office : a no return at all. Then when you finally talk outraged with her Dakota puppy nurse and get to be finally seen 4 days after , Doctor Byrd prescribes you an inhaler that is nowhere to be found and bought. I call the office and try to get an alternative prescription , but there is no one at the office on Fridays that can get you an alternative prescription ! Today is Thursday! No one has called me, not Dr. Byrd, not Dakota puppy , no staff member, no pharmacy! Fortunately I was able to schedule a videochat with our insurance doctor, who without have ever seen me, knew my history , the drugs I was given in the past 5 weeks and an alternative prescription for the inhaler Dr Byrd prescribed me! This won’t end here! I will report this office to the justice and to my insurance! This place need to be SHUT DOWN! If you are reading this, do yourself a favor , go anywhere else BUT here! You won’t find here any form of healthcare! You will find an incompetent staff, an o overweight doctor on drugs just like the ones she loves to push on her patients! The most unprofessional office in Winchester. Dr. Byrd is very money driven. Need to get in contact with her? Well you must leave a message with her nurse and that message is never returned no matter how urgent the situation is. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Byrd’s office to my worst enemy. Don’t waste your time.

This office is ran by P.A after P.A. that come and go. I recently asked an attending Physician's Associate about a common screening and she was clueless of what I was speaking, but left to ask Dr. Byrd. Upon returning she agreed to schedule with a specialist the screening I requested. The office staff speak on how they must walk on eggshells because of the disposition that Dr. Byrd shows and are saddened that it has now overflowed to the patients that are often terminated whenever Dr. Byrd is having a bad day. Dr. Jessica Byrd is a wonderful doctor. She is very warm, kind and caring and treats you with the utmost respect. She listens carefully not just to your chief complaints but asks questions to get to the bottom of your ailments. Her staff is always pleasant, kind and helpful. I've been going to Dr. Byrd's office for many years and never had a bad experience. I highly recommend Dr.Jessica Byrd and Apple Blossom Family Practice.

The first time I made an appointment the office they failed to tell me that Dr. Jessica Byrd was on vacation and I ended up seeing someone else. Today 8/25/21 I went for a follow up and to meet Jessica Byrd for the first time. Shortly after she walked in and started talking to me I will have to say that I will no longer be going to that office. i have been seeing Dr Byrd for a number of years and wouldnt dare go anywhere else. she makes sure you know whats going on and looks out for you,she is kind and friendly

Absolutely terrible 'doctor' I am a middle aged woman who had recently been diagnosed with ADHD, by a competent psychologist, after enrolling in graduate school. I presented the diagnosis to her and she scoffed at it accusing me of somehow lying. She was argumentative and condescending, stating she didn't believe me and she wasn't about to prescribe me a stimulant, as if I was some kind of drug seeker. I left her office in tears. I have never been treated so poorly by a healthcare 'professional' in my life. Btw, I now have my DNP and can honestly say this woman woman should not be in healthcare with her attitude and demeanor.

This office has the rudest people answering their phones!

If you’re looking for a new office to take care of you and your needs look elsewhere. I called this office after seeing some positive reviews and was told we would call you back by the end of the day, I never received a call. I had to call them and remind them I’m still waiting 7 hours later. Then I finally get an appointment, I’m thinking great I’m going to get everything I need finally taken care of I finally built up the confidence to do this. After talking to an extremely unhelpful NP I was told that I would get appointments set up with some specialist. Turns out they didn’t check to see if the specialists they referred me too were even practicing during covid. Had I needed extreme level of care I could have died waiting for a call back. The NP said she would call back and check on me and the progress of everything. Here we are a month later I got her bill in the mail and no calls from anyone. I called and told the lady and she said sorry there was nothing she could do. I paid my bill and cancelled my appointment and i will never be back. Dr. Byrd is amazing! I am 58 and have been a patient of hers for almost 7 years. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She is kind, caring, thorough and patient (she won't rush you and makes you understand whatever is needed, if there is anything). I feel like she is my extended family!

Dr Byrd cares about her patients and goes the extra mile. I've referred numerous patients to her. She sees family members including my 2 granddaughters, 10onys and 3 years.

Horrible physician and horrible practice!

My husband and I both use her as our primary physician. We find her extremely caring and competent. We completely trust her judgement and appreciate the physicians she refers us to when needed. The office staff are friendly and helpful. This is a good place.

Are you in search of a professional yet personable family practice that demonstrates stellar patient interactions, while delivering comprehensive healthcare? Continue looking - you will not find that here. One would assume that a medical professional with over 20 years of experience post-medical school would be able to demonstrate an exemplary bedside manner. I've been a patient with this practice for over a year, thinking that I had found a reputable and ethical provider with wonderful and compassionate staff. Well, that was until my first and last encounter with Dr. Byrd. Maybe she was having a bad day at the office? Issues with high turnover? Either way, if you have the opportunity to see someone, anyone other than Dr. Byrd - go for it. She definitely showed me that you're never too old or too experienced to continue learning - or act unprofessional. Patient ridicule and termination of care in the middle of a procedure should never be part of the medical protocol. My word of advice - do your research. If I had done a better job of it, I wouldn't have chosen this practice. She treats patients like family. I’ve been seeing her for years and never have I been disappointed.

Dr. Byrd is compassionate and kind. I love having her as my doctor.

She was kind and knew her stuff! Highly recommend her.

Visited Dr. Byrd and experienced nothing but unprofessionalism and unconscious bias. She was contradictory, defensive, and retaliatory when asked about treatment and next steps. She was condescending - I was shocked to learn that she runs this practice and by her immature way of dropping a "termination of treatment letter" onto my examination table without reason, and in the middle of getting treatment without notice to her lab techs or office manager. Unprofessional and immature practices.

I am 55. In all of my life I have never experienced such care and compassion as from Dr. Jessica Byrd and her entire staff! They are all amazing! I have dealt with some serious health issues during the past three years. Dr. Byrd has walked me through how to deal with them. She has been inspirational. Dr. Byrd is outstanding! Not only does she care about what is ailing you, she cares about you as a person. She has always diagnosed my problems correctly and prescribed the proper treatment. The office staff is always obliging and they do whatever they can to assist you. I have recommended Dr. Byrd to many of my friends and acquaintances. Number 1 in my book!

I have been with Dr. Byrd for over 15 years. She is an amazing doctor with an awesome bed side manner. She really cares and listens to you. She will work with you to get you where you need to be to be the best that you can be. Her staff is pleasant and no matter what they try to accommodate what you need. You do not find many doctors that you can call family.

Dr. Byrd and her entire staff are caring and loving individuals. I have been a patient of this practice for over 10 years and would not trust my healthcare to anyone else. It is very easy to make an appointment. The nursing staff and administrators are very efficient and their follow through is 100%. You are made to feel like an extension of their family and not just a patient. I just love Apple Blossom Family Practice and I know you will too!!

Dr. Byrd is absolutely wonderful! I take my baby to see her and will be taking my 4 year old next month. She is great and actually takes the time to talk to you and explain everything and is thorough with everything she does! 10/10

She is the most beautiful and respectful doctor I have ever been to,she take her time to make sure all my medical needs are attended to,and all my questions about my health she answered all of them,I will and have recommended new patients to her....
