Mr. Jesse Alvin Rieber

I had multiple sessions with Jesse when I was a teenager and we disagreed about pretty much everything. That's fine, except Jesse was a very one-dimensional thinker and wasn't interested in my point of view. I don't recall him offering any advise or saying anything that wasn't obvious. I noticed other saying Jesse is egotistical, which I agree with, but he was also strangely insecure. On multiple occasions he would say he wasn't impressed by my intelligence even though I hadn't provoked him in any way.

The provider is great

Jesse listens to the core of what we talk about. He tries to find the deep cause that can be worked on to help the easier things work. He’s a very trusting guy, who tries to relate so I know I’m not alone in how I feel and that the situation I’m in has been solved many times before, and will be solved by me. Not every therapist is for everyone and I’ve learned that for years trying to find the right person. Jesse has helped me just be a person and not the problems I come to him with and I appreciate that he’s there for me.

He doesn't listen, continually compared me to another one of his patients. In my sessions I learned more about this one other particular patient then I did about myself or how to fix my issues. Jesses general consensus was to "get over it cuz the other girl has it worse and she's fine" there was no encouragement, actually the opposit. I stopped going and I will not return. The sessions were also barely 30 minutes yet I would be billed for a full 35. He does have quite an ego.

Mr. Rieber is a great person to talk to, until he feels like he's finished getting to the root cause of whatever you're seeing him about. After that, if you continue to show that things still bother you, he will ask "why do you allow yourself to do that?" He's a great guy and all, very intelligent with a soothing voice, but his ego is astounding.
