IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! My husband went here an Dr. Jerome Watson talked a good game. Long story short he came to him after being prescribed opiods for more than 20 yrs at another pain clinic ( UNIFOUR PAIN) in hickory which they dropped him for no reason. We believe they were dumping patients as I know of 9 other people the same day was dropped and cut off of these meds COLD TURKEY! He had already went thru with the rough withdrawals and was on his way to being off them. HE went to him to see if he could do his steroid injections. He said he could an he was putting me back on my same opiod meds I had gotten off of an not taken for 17 days! I trusted him since he had good reviews etc. We knew when he picked up his meds the pill looked different an my husband took it and he knew it wasn't the same meds. SO DID I by the reactions he was having. It was so BAD he thought he was gonna have a heart attack. He called the office the following week after a weekend of Hell...a nurse talked to him an said well your the one that asked for it. My husband DID NOT ask for opiods! And he told her about the reactions he was having and she was like giggling ( I heard her on the phone my husband had it on speaker, since he was shaking so bad he couldn't hold the phone in his hand) ! She said well stop taking them the Dr will not call anything else in until your next appt which was a month away. We know now what he gave him even tho the prescription was written the same, IT was a FLUSH! THE REACTION HE HAD TO IT WAS WORSE THAN ALL he had went thru the past 17 days. His family Dr said it could have killed him and could have caused him to have a heart attack! DON'T GO HERE! He will NEVER GO BACK HERE or any other pain clinic even if Ihe is dying! Dr. Jerome Watson, MD & his personal staff within Carolina Speciality Care are the sweetest people. They are very professional & caring. Dr. Watson evaluates your pain & listens to you. He will do everything he can to help his patient with their pain. He also weighs the patient’s options & if needed, he will refer his patient to have other procedures at another Pain specialist’s office. He will also give his patient his honest opinion about medication vs surgery for that particular patient. My appointments were always a very pleasant & enjoyable experience the 6 yrs I saw Dr. Watson & his personal staff! I extremely miss Dr. Watson & his staff as they made a difference in that 6 yrs of my life! I miss each & everyone of them. Wonderful doctor! He is very kind and easy to talk with about any health issue you may have and how to treat pain so that your life can be more enjoyable. Thanks for all of your help and care.. Highly recommend.

I've seen him over a year .he's wonderful and cares about his patients.yes , sometimes there maybe a wait but it's because he takes ALOT of time with each patient ensuring your needs are always met ! 20 star rating !!!!!

DR Jerome Watson is a nice man and a good doctor however not a man of his word, when i first arrived there he told me if there were any issues we would talk about it like Men and work on a result, he never allowed me that luxury.. after seeing him for the first few visits i was switched to Kristin Pawlowski whom i though was nice the first time, then each week she would come up with some NEW issue and it kept getting worse with each visit. Pawlowski claimed i had high blood pressure and she could not prescribe my meds without a note from my reg doctor,that cost my an afternoon and a few bucks, it gets worse...i was told my urine sample was off and was being accused of some wrong doing, i was called for 2 pill counts and urine samples inside of 3 months, i got very concerned about this and learned everything about how these tests work to try to figure out why i was having these issues, they use the CHEAPTEST test made called an Immunoassay test, not very dependable and not admissible in court in some states, IF they had used the Mass Spectrometer test ( more expensive yet reliable) the meds would have shown.. i GOT Angry about the constant harrasment and tried to question and dispute the findings,which caused mr demise, i lost thousands of $$ being left no choice but to leave an auction for a PILL COUNT im still trying to recover from that loss, KRISTEN PAWLOWSKI is a BULLY and needs to get the last word in..i was kicked out because i was rude to the person who called me for the pill count, most people cant just leave work , i doubt they could.. These people took an oath to help people and all Pawlowski did onmy last day was tell me how sick i was going to get and how dangerous it was to stop taking these meds suddenly, she truly got a rush out of treating me that way .. ANY of them could easily end up on the opposite side of the doc/patient relationship ... id love to talk with anyone whos had a similar experience, let these less than nice people flip burgers not patients...im tired of these minnions trying to control my Life, This Has to STOP ! Patients need Rights ! Dr. Watson is attentive with compassion. Great bedside manner

The staff are very friendly and the Dr. Is nice and gets the job done!

Great MD and great staff. I really trust Dr.Watson know his stuff and is very easy to talk with.

I have been going to Dr Watson 3 years. He and his staff have been awesome. His nurse has been so nice and understanding. I have never felt uncomfortable. Dr Watson has a great bedside manner and cares about his patients. I highly recommend anyone to see him. I have never felt so comfortable with any Dr.
