I had a kidney stone, and was in pretty bad shape. Dr Kaufman took great care of me, ensuring every little detail and making sure all went well!

I am astounded by some of these negative reviews. I have recommended Dr Kauffman to friends after my many positive experiences with him. ( and I am a nurse) He is attentive, intelligent, and easy to communicate with. He is a great Dr. wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever had. Not once in 2 years has the pharmacy's request for a refill been honored on the first request! Normally they have to send multiple requests and I have to call the office 2-4 times to get the script sent. I am tired of it and am moving to a different practice

I had an appointment on 11/18/20 at 9:00 am When we arrived we were told we did not have an appointment that day, our appt was on Friday. 10/20 at 10:20. When we got home we found the appointment card and called . then they insisted they had called us and changed the appt. THEY DID NOT! On our way to the appointment on Friday, we got a flat tire and had to miss the appt. we called your office to explain the problem and reschedule. After waiting for a human to pick up for 20 minutes we hit '2' to leave a message and request a call back. NO ONE CALLED US. I tried again in the afternoon and had the same problem. This appt is for PSA CHECK. You have the lab work, we need the answer. please get back to us at 203-853-4158

Dr Kaufman is the most disconnected aloof and uncaring physician I have ever encountered - he just doesn't care - no follow through - the procedure he performed on me left a very large stone intact - and I suffered greatly as a result

My experience with Dr Kaufman was easily the WORST medical one I have ever had - phone calls not returned; poor judgment in treatment; dragging the issue out for an unnecessarily prolonged period of time; failure to take the necessary measures to alleviate and fix the problem. After much frustration I switched doctors and was I ever glad I did - my new urologist prescribed simple medication and in two weeks poof the stone was gone. The difference between the two physicians was night and day.

Went to the doctor's office a week ago and told the receptionist about an issue the doctor treated me for that was persisting. I received no call back further treatment from Dr. Kaufman. I called again a week later and was told that the doctor was in the hospital that day but reviews his office contacts and would contact me. i still have received no contact, advice or treatment from this physician regarding this problem. Are you willing to take a chance with your health, really?

Took my son to him twice. When he was one years old and three years old. He was very patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. Even when he referred us to a pediatric surgeon, I called him back to ask more questions (because I was nervous) and I got a phone call back immediately. He was very supportive and put me at ease just talking to him.

I have consistent pain since Dr. Kaufman did my varicocele surgery. I've been back at least a dozen times and at this point I think he just doesn't believe me. We talked about exploritory surgery and some other terrible options, eventually they just prescribed me antidepressants. Which do absolutely nothing for me.

great job explaining my condition and treatment options. Dr Kaufman was also easy to get a hold of when I had questions. very knowledgeable, and friendly. The entire office is great

Dr. Kaufman was the nicest doctor I have ever encountered. He was patient, understanding and had a great sense of humor. He walked me through the process and ensured I was comfortable the whole time. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I needed an emergency surgical procedure and Dr Kaufman was on top of it!!! Thank you Dr. Kaufman for being there when I needed you!! I would recommend everyone going to this office!!

This guy is a no nonsense doctor. Very skilled.

Professional & courteous

I found Dr. Kauffman to be indifferent to my medical needs and unprofessional in his conduct.

He treated my 85. Year old healthy husband. Inhumanly! He could. Perform the correct prostrate procedure and would not admit it! We went to another Urologist after two Painful months! My husband had surgery and was in the hospital one night and walked home the next day, his normal extremely healthy. Self!
