Needed a resurfacing treatment for skin and came in panicked, Olga was amazing and scheduled with me right away. Results in less than 5 days and no pain, just improvement!!

I stumbled across this location back in 2021 when I was desperately looking for a new injector for Botox and lip fillers. I have been getting Botox for 10years and have tried so many different locations in NJ and NY. Went in for Botox - was paired with a nurse injector named Isis. The procedure was seamless: no bruises ; no pain. Fast forward to January 2022.. went back to visit Isis- this time I needed to discuss lip fillers; being very unhappy with the previous dr that I had used - Isis was very knowledgeable and understood EXACTLY what I wanted- even explained why i was unhappy with my previous results. Terrible customer service....Mediocre attention at the front desk, I don’t know her name but was a brunette with blue eyes quite rude...made me decide to go somewhere else.

I've been doing neuromodulators for masseter reduction for almost two years in LA. Because of the pandemic that we encounter ourselves in I decided to do my next application in town. I went to Skintology a little bit more than a month ago for my appointment. When I went in for my injection I was having small talks with the injector, and after the application I mentioned that I barely felt anything, because the other times that I applied I actually felt the Botox/Dysport being injected. She simply said that a lot of places diluted their products, insinuating that my plastic surgeon would do such a thing. I definitely didn't feel comfortable or thought it was professional of her to make such comment. At the end when I went to pay they charged me a totally different price of what I was planning to pay with the quote that I got over the phone. It was SO overpriced. I paid, after all I already had the procedure. When you apply neuromodulators for jaw slimming, you usually start seeing the results after a few weeks. Today it completes a little bit more than a month and I still see NO difference at all. I've read some reviews here and on Google and apparently I'm not the only one with that problem. I've been a customer of the spa for many years. It's always a great experience. The place is very clean, inviting and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable, and always listen to your needs. I've had multiple laser procedures with Lola, and couldn't be happier! Highly recommend her and the spa!

I gave her specific instructions about what I wanted. I’ve had fillers before. She just did whatever she wanted. When I complained they brushed me off and kept saying that the one syringe was too small of an amount to make a difference. It made a huge difference you can absolutely tell from my pictures. Also If it were such a small amount why did you charge me $700 and then refuse to fix the mistake. I’ve been here before for other services so it pains me to say: never again. I got Botox a week ago. Mind you, I wanted a Botox brow lift and everywhere else I went to they usually do a good job. I got 30 units. Well my eyebrows dropped, looks awful. The tail of the brow ( where it should be lifted) is completely paralyzed. My eyelids look saggy and I look as if I were on drugs.i checked the medical notes and noticed that the nurse injected an area that is off limits if you want to keep your brow elevated ( I am reiterating that I needed a Botox brow lift). I consulted with a plastic surgeon who advised me to leave it alone. He added that the injector simply does not know what she is doing and probably took a weekend course if that and advised me to stay away from medspas. The injector at Skintology took a few minutes to age me by ten years. The injector at Skintology needs to go back to school and you should avoid this place. Thankfully , Botox will go away on its own and I will have to look old and tired for only 4-7 months but imagine if I had gotten fillers or laser from a place whose staff does not know elementary principles of Botox injections? Don’t even waste your time ! I Do not recommend at ALL for any lip filler procedure. They are overpriced, & the results don’t even last. I went in May and explained to the esthetician what I wanted. Now I left it to the professional to determine what product was best based on my needs. She did not specify the difference just said Restylane is better quality. After the procedure, They were swollen which was expected. I thought okay looking good. After the swelling went down they looked exactly the same. I contacted Isis & expressed I wasn’t Satisfied with the work she did because there is no difference. They charged me 700$ for 1syringe. I have been a client with Skintology Medspa since 2016. I am always provided great service, patience and a positive experience. The facility is clean, the receptionists are always respectful and it is easy to get an appointment. I have a great lasting relationship with some of the staff who really helped me prepare for my wedding in 2019. I suffer from cystic acne, reddening in the face and the eyebrow fad of the early 2000s. The staff also has guided me in changing my lifestyle. My wife and her friend both went the Skintology a week ago for a chemical peel. They were a little red the next day but today they look fantastic. They are both in their mid forties but since the procedure they look ten years younger at least. I am thinking about getting the chemical peel myself.

I have now been seen by Isis a few times at Skintology NY and I am very satisfied with her work. I had my lips filled, my eyebrows raised and forehead smoothed, my cheekbones defined, and some other small changes to balance everything. Isis was able to make all of these small adjustments without creating an unnatural appearance – I just look like a better version of myself. I have had consultations in the past at other doctor’s offices and medical spas that seem to be just pushing for more sales. Isis is not like that at all. She is patient and attentive to my own wishes and provides me with multiple treatment options so I can decide for myself the best way to proceed (of course with her expert opinion in mind). Isis has a very gentle touch and I never feel rushed during my appointment, I truly feel like she listens to what I want and gives me the reasoning behind her recommended treatment. The last treatment that I had in this spa was microblading for my eyebrows. I am very pleased with the results and my eyebrows look great now. As you can tell, I love this place. The care I received was absolutely exceptional. Dr. Walden is extremely detail oriented and professional, the staff is welcoming and supportive from the front desk on. Very happy with my choice. I do feel somewhat sorry for Dr. Walden. Should she ever need the services of a plastic surgeon, she will have to settle for the second best doctor available.

Actually, I've been an existing customer for years. Always had the best experience, until today. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. First, I kept getting text messages with the wrong appt time. I confirmed the day of and was told my time was for 5:30pm. I then recieved a call, asking why was I late...again, they had the wrong appt time. When I arrived, I did not see Lola (who I specifically requested), I saw another woman, who would not do the laser treatment because I wasn't scheduled correctly. The woman who evaluated did not bother to look at my file prior to coming in. Instead, just focused on adding services I did not need nor requested The "front desk" claimed to be the manager, but again, I've gone there for YEARS and know who is in charge of the location. The front desk gave no contact information, and didnt even attempt to write me complaint down. This is my point. I'm an existing customer, and was treated so poorly, with complete lack of respect for my time, and basically no attempt to fix the situation. DO NOT GO TO SKINTOLOGY. A ROUTINE VISIT RESULTED IN FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE BURNS. On March 27, I went to Skintology and was seen by Natalia for touch-up laser hair removal treatment on my legs and bikini line. As a result of the treatment, I sustained painful and unsightly FIRST and SECOND DEGREE BURNS on my legs and was consequently left with hypopigmentation (loss of color). I had over 100 individual burns as you can see from the attached photos. The next day, very concerned about these burns, I went back to see Natalia as I knew this result was not normal. She tried to assuage my concerns and say that she could do some other treatment to help, but I refused as I did not want her or anyone else from Skintology to touch me again. I decided to go directly to my dermatologist. She confirmed to me that these PAINFUL and UNSIGHTLY first and second degree burns were not a normal result of routine laser hair removal. I spent the next two weeks in intense pain and discomfort. After my dermatological visit, I contacted Skintology and they refunded me for the total amount of the procedure after I demanded it. However, I rejected their offer of going back to Skintology for a follow up as I did not want to interact directly with them. As soon as it became clear that I was left with hundreds of hypopigmented dots on my legs, I called Skintology and tried to amicably resolve this situation by having them agree to pay for the multiple sessions of necessary fraxel laser treatment I would need my dermatologist to perform in order to minimize the unsightly residual scarring that was left from laser treatment on my legs. To clarify, I needed this specific treatment because it resurfaces the skin and stimulates the skin to produce natural pigmentation to blend and reduce scarring from my botched laser hair removal treatment at Skintology on March 27. Due to depth of the scarring from the burns from the laser, my skin was not producing any pigmentation. Due to my insistence, Gina finally came up to meet me. She was defensive and aggressive, and told me that she couldn’t see any scarring even though I clearly pointed it out and showed her the pictures I took of my first and second degree burns. I tried to resolve the situation amicably by having Skintology cover the cost of the subsequent fraxel laser treatments I needed my dermatologist to perform. (FYI Gina acknowledged the fact that this was the correct form of treatment as she offered to do the fraxel treatment for me for free). When I told her I didn’t want any procedures done at Skintology, Gina acted hysterically and started shouting at me and saying I was harassing her which was UNTRUE. She then threatened me by saying she would call the police, which she ultimately did. She tried to get me to sign something saying that I wouldn’t write a bad review about them on Yelp or any other platform. She also threatened me by saying that she would look me up and write bad things about me in my professional field. I am now having to treat the hypopigmentation with expensive laser sessions to improve the residual scarring and pay for it out of MY OWN POCKET because they are denying my request to cover the costs. Not only is this treatment costly, but it is incredibly painful and time intensive, and it results in redness and soreness that lasts for days. I have to have a minimum of 3 fraxel treatments, if not more, and each session costs $1,500 (so it would be a minimum total of $4,500). More so, insurance won't even cover it as this machine is considered to be only for cosmetic purposes. Given I signed a standard consent before having the procedure at Skintology, they would challenge me if I took them to court, although it was not made clear to me at the time that something like this could happen - having undergone the procedure with other professionals without incident, it just didn't occur to me. Furthermore, one of the most inconvenient consequences of the laser burning was that I have to shield my burns from the sun for at least three years after DO NOT GO TO SKINTOLOGY. I had the Cryo facial done here and it made my skin glow. I have been considering the laser treatment but have not yet done so for fear of some others reporting skin burns. Will update this if and when I try it. Overall a pleasant experience at Skintology.

I love this place! I’ve always wanted to try Coolsculpting. So when I came to Skintolology for a consultation the technician told me that I wasn’t a good candidate for Coolsculpting and I should try to have Sculpsure done (it’s also a fat reduction procedure). My wife wanted to get a chemical peel at Skintology but I was skeptical that it may burn her and leave damage. She convinced me to meet with the aesthetician for a consultation. It was explained to me that it only removes the top dead layer of skin without any harm to the layer below. I agreed to let her do it and we are both very pleased with the results. He face is fresh and youthful looking and free on the old lines. Her color is much more even also. I am glad I agreed to her having it done. I think I will be next for a chemical peel in NYC. I have had numerous experiences with plastic surgeons due to a disease I developed when I was young . I went to Dr. Walden after reading her impressive credentials & expertise. I asked her to perform a blepharoplasty & facelift which would necessarily demand more skill & more precision due to my scarring. After reading my records Dr Walden agreed. I developed a disease in one of my eyes for which I have had 6 reparative surgeries. I asked Dr. Walden to do another corrective surgery. I also asked her to perform a facelift during the same surgery which would also be complicated by virtue of my surgical history. Dr. Walden read through my records & took on the challenge. After 12 long uninterrupted hours of surgery Dr. Walden achieved precision and artistry. The blepharoplasty /canthoplasty & facelift are beyond my expectations!

My wife kept nagging me to get laser tattoo removal for this one tattoo because it was in a very conspicuous place and a bit offensive. I finally decided to go to Skintology and get it done. I thought there would still be a trace left behind but I was wrong. After a couple sessions it was completely gone. It was not as costly as I thought either. Terrible place for laser- DON'T GO! I got badly burnt in my last session. The person who did my laser knew I was in pain and still continue. I went back to complain and they gave me some money back. However, the person who burned me call me back, she was no apologetic at all and recommended a cream that the dermatologist told me not to use! Clearly they dont know what they are doing! Really great place for laser hair removal. Have been coming here for years. Friendly staff, nice facility.

First, the customer service was FIRST RATE. I was 15 minutes late because of a delayed Dr. appointment and they still treated me! Second, my tech, Yana, was incredible. She made sure I was comfortable and she was quick and as painless as possible. I WILL return.

I got treated with the best technology in the form of the Medlite C6 laser – the risks and pain were significantly lower. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Really liked my first visit to Skintology. There was zero wait for my laser appointment, which I appreciated. The receptionist was competent and nice, and resolved my lifebooker question quickly. I also had to reschedule a few times and thankfully they were very accommodating. The place itself was clean and spacious, at least compared to other laser centers that cramp you in. I felt that the equipment was much stronger than other laser places, it even gave off cool air. Yana, the technician, was very good and made sure she covered all areas thoroughly. Few years ago had an amazing facial with a nice specialist (forgot her name). Visited this year to get free consultation on laser procedures. Decided to get a hair removal package. Did 2 sessions so far with Yana and super happy with results - almost all hair gone (my skin is very light and dark hair). I am sure 6 sessions will be enough and I will enjoy my new swimming suit very soon!!!! Love Skintology, its staff and products!!! I've been here twice for laser hair removal. The place is clean and nice. The service is professional, friendly, and on time. Olga makes sure that I'm comfortable and that I'm not feeling too much or too little. I have brown skin, and I saw results right away.

I've only been to another spa once in New York City. Skintology is comfortable. You don't have to change in a public shower. You are led to your massage or facial room and get changed there. But I had to change room for my facial after I finished my massage. It was fine changing room except that I was not offered any slippers, and the floor was cold. Tatiana was my massage therapist. She didn't talk much, but she's very nice. What I felt strange about is she would care one side, like my left leg, or right face, much more than the other side. Overall the experience was not bad.
