She is uptight, rude, and the run of the mill induction/cs3ction doctor. I would avoid her, especially if you smoke MM, or have alternative beliefs. You can expect a subpar experience in her care and bedside manners.

I switched OBGYN at 7 months pregnant because I wasn't getting my questions answered by my previous doctor. On the first appointment with Dr. Schroeder, I cried happily because she answered all my questions and spent time with me to feel confidence about my first pregnancy. During my labor & delivery, she was present, provided her recommendation and moved quickly to deliver my baby safely & she respected all my wishes. She also was extremely flexible & accommodating. I have so much respect and admiration for Dr. Schroeder as an MD and as an individual. The crew she has at Embrace is top notch. So glad I made the switch to Embrace!

Dr. Schroeder is a good doctor, but is constantly running behind. It seems like I wait 45+ minutes every time I go. I understand that doctors are busy, but maybe they could call patients and let them know they are behind so we aren’t waiting almost an hour. I’m going to have to find another doctor unfortunately.

Dr Schroeder delivered 2 of my children while my family lived in NWA. Since moving out of state, I go back to her for my womens health appointments.

I went to her office one day, and she had to postpone my appointment, and when I asked why, she said her kid missed her at school. I absolutly love how much she cares about her kids, and I think that all these people who are mad need to cool their jets, and realize that she has other things going on in her life.

Brought my 3 year old son in for an appointment to discuss a rash that was on his body , but primary on his groin/ butt region, and she told me that “if I just get him potty trained, it will go away.” Took him to another doctor and he was tested and diagnosed with psoriasis. She not only misdiagnosed my son, but paid very little attention to what I was telling her because she wanted me to feel like a bad mother. Well, she’s a bad doctor and doesn’t listen to parents. I switched to Dr Schroeder several years ago after trying a few other doctors in the area and being dissatisfied with their impersonal interactions and treatment. A friend of mine recommended Dr Schroeder. I was a little apprehensive at first, being a man and always having male doctors, but decided to give it a shot. I can honestly say that Dr Schroeder is by far the best Dr that I've ever been to. I've had appointments where I've walked right in, and others during peak times of the year when the lobby is full. The staff at the desk have always been good about letting me know what the wait should be when I check in or when I've asked. April is always cheerful and friendly even when they are very busy. Dr Schroeder has always taken time to sit and have a discussion with me to really understand what my situation is. What stands out the most to me is how Dr Schroeder and April both take the time to sit with you and have a conversation. So many other doctors that I've seen look at their computer monitor the entire time while they're pecking on their keyboard and asking you questions. That difference to me shows that Dr Schroeder and April deeply care about people and are genuinely interested in making their patients lives better. I switched to Dr Schroeder several years ago after trying a few other doctors in the area and being dissatisfied with their impersonal interactions and treatment. A friend of mine recommended Dr Schroeder. I can honestly say that Dr Schroeder is by far the best Dr that I've ever been to. What stands out the most to me is how Dr Schroeder and April both take the time to sit with you and have a conversation.

Very laid back, makes an uncomfortable visit very comfortable. Goes over history very thoroughly and doesn't force opinions on you. Great nurse, too.

This doctor and her staff are not about their patients. Every time I came for an appointment we waited a minimum of and hour and 30 mins just in the waiting room then always at least another 40+ Minutes in the back room, only to see the doctors for maaaaybe 5 minutes. I was treated as a number not a pregnant patient. It's was the most horrible experience I've had while pregnant and ended up switching doctors at 37 and a half weeks. I have group b and while I expressed my concerens to Dr. Schroeder she brushed me off like it was nothing. This is my 4th baby and my 3rd time having group b so I am very aware of how dangerous it can be. She didn't seem to care. She also made my children wait in another room while she checked my cervix. For me it bothered me because I am very open with my kids. We openly talk about our body and what is going on with mommy and Dr. Schroeder made it seem like it was shameful to be open with my kids! Which by the way is NOT her decision. I suggest you don't go here unless you like being a number and not a human! Awful awful awful experience!!!! Since seeing Dr. Scally I am MUCH happier and feel at peace and also know my child will be in great hands at birth! As I left and made it public on FB that I left Dr. Schroeders office because of multiple events I actually had a few friends say they had the same experice with Dr. Schroeder and and left for the same reasons. Maybe she should be aware of the issues going on in her office and tend to them a little. Her nurse April is a huge problem as well. Be friendly people! It goes a long way!
