I only have positive things to say about Dr. Schening and her practice. We have been coming to her since our premature twin infants left the NICU 8 years ago and I’m so grateful we ended up in the right hands.

This is THE Doctor you wish for your children; patient, dedicated and very caring. Always helps prevent problems; she speaks to the children about healthy choices, eating well, etc. And she listens to them! She and NP in her practice are so professional and despite being very busy they never made me feel like rushed out of room. Highly recommend! Fist time meeting Dr Schening was very pleasant. We enjoyed her energy. She took her time checking my newborn and was interested to get to know my little family.

We couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Schening. Excellent practice. Highly recommend.

Been going to Schening for over 10 years, but maybe it's time for a change. I'm sick of seeing the nurse practitioner and feel like I'm getting subpar service from the NPs, yet they're always happy to take my co-pays. I can't even get a NP to call me back to discuss prescriptions!

We absolutely love Jennifer and her staff. We drive an hour to get to her and her care is well worth the drive! Her bedside manner is amazing, and knowledge is truly the best. I highly recommend her and her team!

If you are state insurance please make sure you do not allow them to contact you in regards to visits that apparently were not accepted by insurance. This office dropped the ball on billing many patient visits. It is entirely illegal to bill a Medicaid patient.

The doctors are great . The front staff is the most untrained, unorganized group of people you can imagine.. I've personally seen them kick 4 families out over $20-85 billing issues.. I've twice been told that the doctors won't let us in unless we pay first and then the doctors (the owner) claims to have had no idea . They once pulled my wife and son from a visit because they realized we hadn't paid yet.. And to be clear we've been going there for at least 8 years Im Guessing.. I'll write more later but for now I'd advise anyone to go elsewhere . Or else I hope these good doctors get rid of the front staff or they go elsewhere . The doctors are great . first let me say I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years as a medical office assistant. I have also help to run and front office and this front office staff is very unorganized, billing person hung up on me twice for questioning a bill and wanting to get more information, was deactivated from the practice(unofficially) I believe do to a that same bill she wouldn't even allow me to make arrangements for payment never called me back, and when I called to speak to office manager she never called me either. The doctor was nice and so are her nurses but I am a believer birds of a feather. We have been going to Next Gen since my son was a year old. We have had nothing but positive experiences. Staff is patient, listens attentively, and allows the parent to make an informed decision when it comes to their child's care. I would agree with some that the front staff at time seems to be a bit disorganized; I requested a document once that I never did receive even after following up with them. They wanted to charge me $15 for the copy and after requesting it twice I just gave up. My 5 star review is based on the excellent care received from the practitioners. Staff very unorganized. I've been asking for my sons records for months to be faxed to my new pediatrics office and nothing! Many calls and emails were send. After they kept telling me they faxed it and nothing!! I went to the office just for them to tell me I have to pay for the records! Very frustrating. I once even waiting for an hour for them to assist my son even when we had an appointment. I would not recommend! Staff very unorganized. ...If you call in with a question about your sick child... ... or if you go to the ER... don't expect any followups from them, to see how you're child is. ...If you switch from traditional insurance to ALL KIDS, expect them to inexplicably terminate their relationship with you, with an unsigned letter. They will later explain that it was just because you didn't show up for our regular well visit, even if you hadn't even scheduled one! By the way, they will not warn you about this either. They won't tell you that if you don't come every 6 months (or whatever their arbitrary period is), they will terminate their relationship with you. ...If you leave a message at their office asking for an explanation, don't expect a call back for 6-7 weeks. ... if you leave a negative review, careful, they might publicly (on facebook) accuse you being a mean person, but can't explain why because of HIPAA laws (which of course, doesn't make sense). All of this happened to us. Isn't it odd to come across a business that punitively refuses serve you simply because you didn't set up appointments with them as frequently as they would like???! The only good thing I have to say about this office is that they don't push pills. I believe Dr. Schening has a great heart, but actions speak louder than words. They recently turned off reviews on their facebook site, because of an alleged troll group wanting to spam them. I honestly think this is because they don't want any more HONEST reviews from people like myself. And there are a number of us like myself out there. Very disappointed, I read such great reviews and took my daughter there. Just to find long waits not to even see the doctor but the nurse practitioner. Then decided to switch doctors and it has been a nightmare to get the records. They will not release them to my new doctor just because they want me to go pay for them at their office. Incredibly frustrating as for my son my previous doctors had no problem sending his records. If they need money they should just tell you that so that the new doctor's office does not waist their time faxing and calling them to obtain the records. We absolutely love Dr Schening for our 3 children! So much so, we pay out of pocket to continue seeing her rather than finding a physician in our network. Previous pediatricians had always been quick to want to prescribe steroids and other meds for the slightest skin rash or stuffy nose. I appreciate Schening's more holistic approach and that she aims to treat the source of whatever is causing an ailment instead of masking the symptoms. If only I could find a doctor as trustworthy for myself!

Horrid bedside manner. Her office staff is also unprofessional, and inefficient. Scary, when your child's other specialists recommend you take your child to a different pediatrician. Think it's about time I take their advice.

Dr. Schening and the nurse we saw today were very nice and thorough! My 3 year old is very shy, and the doctor was super sweet with him, trying to get him to feel comfortable with the necessary checkup routines. On our way out, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and was engaging in fun conversation with my son. :) You can really tell the people who work here love their jobs!

My son was complaining about arms and legs pain ever since he turned 2 years old. Every time we saw Dr Schening I would mention my concerns and got a goofy looks in response. One time she actually was bold enough to ask if I am the one who is making him sick? Finally after 2 years she ordered some test. Turned out he's vitD was very low!!! Just recently we went again.... another awful experience:( . Terrible bedside manner yet first to discipline the kids.

Two weeks in advance of my baby girl's appointment I delivered the paperwork to the office in an envelope. On the day of, April 26th, the office couldn't find it and I had to fill out the six pages again. I brought the records, in case. The NP ignored my concerns of a skin rash and when to begin giving vitamins, and accused me of abusing my child because of the presence of Mongolian spots - there since birth - until Dr. looked and said, the politically correct term is slate gray Mongolian spots

We have been going to Dr. Schening for past 6 years, We have 3 children two girls ages 12 & 10 (Now) and one boy age 4+, and can clearly state that she is the best doctor in town for kids.
