Dr. Jennifer L Popovsky

Many doctors can take lessons from this medical professional. First, she was very accommodating in obtaining an ASL interpreters for my procedure as she doesn't know ASL. There are way too many doctors that ignore the communication aspect with their deaf/hh patients. Secondly, she has the most pleasant bedside manner and a good sense of humor. She knows how to connect with patients. I am already referring friends to her for their dermatology needs.

Not impressed. I had a horrible experience. It took her over 30 minutes to get to my room. I felt she was unprofessional & rude. I don’t feel as if my concerns were addressed appropriately. Dr. Popovsky is a caring doctor. I came in with a cyst under my arm, it had drained and was infected. First she cleaned it, put me on 10 days of antibiotics and I saw her again after 2 weeks. She then did surgery on it and took out the cyst, with 11 stitches. It has healed perfect. Thanks again doctor for your thorough service.

I have gone to Dr. Popovsky for a few years now. I sincerely want to publicly Thank her for her services. In the past three or so years that I have been going to them I have seen Darla Hadden on a regular basis and Jennifer Poppvsky has also treated me. My experience has been very good with this center. I have had two different diagnosis to resolve and all were handled with care and expediency. I have since recommended two other family members with the same experience.

My husband had a serious cancer on his face. Dr Popovsky did surg and reconstruction. She did a beautiful surgery. We LOVE her and her staff. We drive from Canton

When we were on vacation my husband went to see Jennifer because he had a spot of his face that he was worried about Jennifer took her time with Bill and she was amazing. Jennifer took a biopsy (and my husband went to several before and no one ever did anything they said it was just a spot) anyway we went back home (to New Mexico) and 2 weeks later they called and said it was Basel cell (cancer) and said that he needed to get it removed. We thought about going somewhere closer but our gut told us to go back to her, So my husband and I drove back to Medina Ohio (1500 miles) because Jennifer is that good ???????? Everyone at this office is truly amazing (staff, nurses, and of course Jennifer). She removed all the cancer (she tested it right there) the whole procedure took about 4 hours (they had to remove it twice) and everything was clear after the 2nd time, then Jennifer stitched up the area. If anyone is really concerned about any spot (skin cancer) and if your dermatologist isn’t taking you seriously I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!! What a wonderful healthcare professional. Dr. Popovsky asked about me, my family, my history and actually listened. She is a surgical dermatologist and not just an exam doctor. She has the best patient concern and bed side manner...what a pro! Her staff also takes it upon themselves to engage with you, make you feel comfortable, and assist any way they can. What a great team and now Dr. Barrick has joined her...that's great care right here in Medina County. I couldn't recommend a medical professional any higher than Dr. P{opovsky. Dr. Popovsky performed surgery on my left arm that was relatively extensive. Her surgical skills are without question as is her manner and professionalism.

If anyone ever needs major surgery performed this is the lady to visit.She has done two major surgerys on my face and they were both flawless. Great job Jenny.

I was very impressed with Darla Hadden PA when I took my daughter to her about a year or so ago. She took a lot of time and answered all her questions. The reason for the poor rating is since then I have called the office 5 times in the last 2.5 weeks and left 4 messages inquiring about a refill on her prescriptions. I have yet to receive a return phone call. This is extremely frustrating since they were "johnny on the spot" to call and schedule a follow up visit. i called the office the end of November for an area on my nose; later diagnosed as Basal Cell. I was not only seen within a couple of weeks, but was also scheduled for surgery before the end of the year enabling me to use my 2018 deduct. The efficiency and cooperation in getting me in quickly overwhelmed me. Derm offices around Wooster were scheduling 3 months out! Fran (the PA) and Dr Popovsky were great. Dr Popovsky was careful and meticulous. My scar is almost gone!

Charged my credit card at time of service for my copay, then billed me again 13 months later for the same copay. I didn’t keep my receipt for 13 months proving that I paid so I had to pay twice. I won’t be back and if you plan on going, beware of these shady business practices

My husband had an aggresive and large basal cell on his nose that could have left him with a hideous appearance after resection. But Dr. Popovsky removed it to perfection and was so talented at a surgeon, that he looks like his old self again after the surgery and people don't even notice he even had the surgery to begin with. She is extraordinary. I am very picky because I am in the medical field myself so I am seldom impressed but this doctor is the best of the best. I would not go anywhere else. Also, the staff is very professional and competent and they got us in right away for the initial evaluation and were just as timely with getting the surgery sceduled. Time was of the essence due to this fast moving cancer and this doctor and her staff completely delivered. I am grateful to have found her. I also love the fact that she is private practice which makes her all the more special. She is a true find. I have needed Dr. Jennifer's skill, talent and expertise 3 times. Each time for treatment of squamous cell cancer. Dr. Jennifer told me exactly what she was going to do and why. Her staff is extremely professional and know their jobs. I cannot recommend her highly enough. You will be in very good hands.

I can't say enough about this practice Darla, the NP is amazing and very very thorough. Dr. Popovsky had to remove a mole from my daughter's leg, she took ample time to explain the procedure in great lengths and even took 10 more minutes to explain why it is so important to protect your skin! I was coming from a doctor that I did not trust anymore. Her staff got me right in and she really took very good care of me. Put me on the top of the list. And did it all right then. So I did not need to miss anymore work. She is the best.

I had Basal cell carcinoma removed from the tip of my nose. I had to reschedule due to a conflict and her staff was courteous and were attentive to my needs as the patient. Dr. Popovsky explained everything prior to the procedure, was kind and professional and the best part, and I can only comment on my procedure, there was no pain.

I have had several surgeries and procedures in 15 years. I have seen many doctors and nurses and staff. Not all people should work with sick patients, but Dr. Jennifer Popovsky and her staff are absolutely amazing. They take very good care of you and make your experience very smooth. You feel as if they are good friends holding your hand through your journey. I will always recommend people to her office. I am so grateful I got referred to her. Thank you.
