Very good Dr. Cares about her patients.

Dr. O'Neill took the time to explain what my issues were and really tried to help me understand it all. Beyond that, she showed great care and compassion for me during the visit. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. O'Neill treats patients like family. She explains conditions, procedures, surgery, and after-care completely and with care.

Wonderful surgery center: everyone so attentive and excelled in their areas. Nurses were awesome : anesthesiologist was great: And Dr Oneil was so wonderful and very personal with my family. Have had no pain since I returned home.

I was referred to Dr. O'Neill to do surgery for my breast cancer. I immediately felt at ease with her and trusted her to take care of me. Now that she has moved offices, I will continue to follow up with her. My first visit to the new facility went very well and I was happy with everything.

Dr. O'Neill is a competent and caring doctor. She did an exam that was more through than any breast exam I have ever had before. She didn't want to miss any possible issue since I'm a cancer survivor. I did have to wait a good time there. I was there for two hours for a 15 minute appointment. I don't know why the wait time was so long. I never had to wait at Dr. O'Neill's other location.

I went to her office for a first meeting. Never met with her! After waiting to see her - more than a 1 1/2 hours. I was finally taken to a room to see her! Vitals were taken and a gown was given me to put on. Not sure why! Thought she may want to do a consultation first! Did she even know why I was there? Waited again. She came in the room and did not acknowledge me or my husband - said she needed gloves and left. She didn't even say sorry for the wait and I will be with you in a few minutes!! This is not the type of doctor I would pick for myself. My primary doctor referred me. I let the front desk know I was leaving and left some tests results with them. Why - not sure because I will not be going back!

I have found Dr. O'Neill to be both very professional and friendly. She did my initial breast surgery and all of my breast follow-ups. Have enjoyed working with her and look forward to a continuing relationship as she moves into her position with Arizona Oncology.

Dr. O'Neill is extremely informative and goes above and beyond to reassure you on all results from your test. I am diabetes and had an insulin reaction before my appointment . Her staff immediately came to my aid to remedy the reaction. Stayed nearby to make sure all was well. Everyone was very accommodating, caring and professional. Office and Dr. O'Reilly are great. Very satisfied with all.

I’m having a wonderful experience with Dr O’Neill, she is one of the most caring doctors I’ve ever had. She turned my horrible experience into something bearable. I feel like I can call her anytime, in fact I called her in the middle of the night after my surgery and actually talked to her! I am so grateful that she is my doctor! Dr. O’Neill was referred to me by 3 different people who don’t know each other. They all said she was the best and now I must say the same . I have Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma her 2 positive . After consulting with Dr O’Neill we decided to do a total mastectomy on the left breast . Dr. O’Neill has also had breast cancer and can relate . I must say the surgery went well and I have minimal scaring . Dr. O’Neill said so much to me about getting through this phase that was so helpful for me . She is by far the best Dr. I have had through this entire fight with cancer . I will refer her to anyone needing a breast surgeon . Thank you Dr. O’Neill you made a huge difference in my life and I want to just say Thank -You for caring .

I saw her in 2018 for my breast cancer diagnosis. Initially she was good, though some of the information dumps were overwhelming. Her moods often varied wildly between appointments and at a 1 year follow up she wanted me to wait even longer before deciding on a revision to flat closure. Her behavior felt like gaslighting. At the end of 2019, a different surgeon performed my mastectomy revision and told me breast tissue had been left behind the first time. The whole point was to remove ALL the breast tissue and Dr. O'Neill didn't. Thankfully, pathology on that came back clear.

Worst experience of my life. She switched practices to a new location, didn’t tell me so I showed up for my appointment at the old location and it was vacant. The updated address was on their website with no suite number. I eventually found it and after SEVERAL months of waiting IN PAIN for my appointment, they tell me I’m not on the schedule for the new office even though i showed them my apt in the patient portal. Dr O’Niell herself came out and told me that she didn’t have time to discuss the issue and I would have to reschedule a new appointment. She was super rude and abrasive about it and said I could fire her if I want. There were 2 other patients in the waiting room having the exact same problem as me. I’m not a new patient, I’ve seen her several times and she even did my surgery but she didn’t even remember me and kept calling me the wrong name. Horrible experience. Seems she does NOT care about her patients.

Dr. O'Neill is doing an excellent job of helping me through my cancer. On my first visit she sat with me and explained the type of cancer I have, drew pictures to help me understand and took her time making me feel like I was her only patient. She is kind and understanding with a wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. O'Neill (and her staff) are simply the best of the best. I have breast cancer and do not know what I would have done without her help. She did my surgery and continues to guide me thru this. I will always be grateful to her for her care and help. Her care for her patients is simply second to none.

I live in Yuma and tried to get a biopsy but just got the run around so my PCP recommended Dr O'Neill. She was friendly and explained everything in layman's terms. When she heard about all the trouble I had trying to get the biopsy, she immediately got on the phone and found someone who had an opening so I could get it done without making multiple trips! She was AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend her!!!

Dr. O'Neill is by far one of the best Doctors/Surgeons I've ever visited! I had a minor procedure in office and was extremely nervous about it but she made the appointment so fun and pleasant which helped me to forget about the nerves and rather focus on experiencing a wonderful person who was physically helping me but more than anything helping me in more ways than that! Her office staff from the moment you walk in make you feel welcomed and engaged. Office decor, smell, and music so great!!

Dr. O'Neill is unique physician. She is an excellent surgeon who not only helps you with the physical aspects of breast cancer, but also helps you with the psychological aspects of fighing breast cancer. Anyone who is unfortunate to have this diagnosis, will soon learn that the cure is not merely to the breast but to your mind and whole self. I received hugs when I needed them the most, as well as timely referrals, expertise and advice. Selecting Dr. Oneill was the best decision that I made

If I could give Dr. O'Neill 100 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Every little detail about her is top notch - her bedside manner, her approach to treating you, her office. But what clearly shines with Dr. O'Neill is her heart - she cares. She makes you feel comfortable from the moment she steps inside the room and begins to interface with you. When I was told I had breast cancer I was recommended to Dr. O'Neill by my family Dr.who told me she was the best and from then on I was in the very best of hands in my care. She recommend, Dr. Lucy Chen, my radiologist and Dr. Andrew Buresh, my Oncologist. All these doctors on the Top Doctors List. Even though Dr. O'Niell moved to the Tempe office which is further to go to from Scottsdale she is worth the trip to keep her as my doctor and I will continue to go to her and the rest of my dr's.

I was extremely impressed after meeting with Dr. Jennifer O'Neill for a surgery consult. Her bedside manner is fantastic! Dr. O'Neill is treating my mother right now who at this point unexpectedly has stage 3 invasive breast cancer. And she is a blessing. My mother is real weary around doctors but its like Dr. O'Neill is a angel from above. Her mannerism, respect and patience for treating people in need is what really counts and I really respect her for that. Out of all of my cancer team specialists, Dr. Jennifer K. O'Neill is my favorite. From the first warning I had a tumor, she treated me with such warmth and caring I truly have not minded going through the cancer journey. Dr. O'Neill quickly responded to questions and allowed me the time to think through my options. She is a warrior surgeon determined to eradicate cancer and save lives. Office staff is friendly and competent. My sisters are amazed at the tiny bit of scarring, amazing surgeon!

I met Dr. O'Neill in 2012, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was excellent, giving me plenty of time to ask questions, and giving me lots of encouragement. I just saw her today, and was reminded of how exceptional she is. She is kind and warm, but a warrior against cancer. She is intense in her hatred of this disease, so be ready for her to fight for you. By the way, every doctor who has seen my post lumpectomy scars has commented on how beautiful and tiny they are. She is the best!

Dr. O'Neill took excellent care of me. She always tried to put me at ease with my care, and help me understand what course of treatment we could take and why. I feel so blessed that I found her when I needed not only physical care, but emotional support. She was wonderful!

Dr. O'Neill is one of the best doctors I have been to. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of breast surgery. Her bedside manner is impeccable and you never feel rushed, every concern is addressed and she never lets you leave her office with unanswered questions. She is always looking out for the interests of her patients. I would never consider going to anyone else. If you have any issues relating to the breast I would highly recommend making her your first call.

Dr O'Neill is a straightforward and dedicated breast surgeon who genuinely cares about every patient that walks through her door. Dr O'Neill was SO amazing when she had to walk me through my cancer diagnosis and her excitement when she did my surgery and found that she "got all the cancer" made me know I was in the best hands ever! I am blessed to have a hand full of doctors that STILL care and Dr O'Neill is DEFINITELY one of them.

Dr ONeill has been my breast surgeon since my 2013 ductile mammary gland lumpectomy & my2016 metastatic lymph node mastectomy. She answered al my questions thoro'ly kindly patiently giving even the worst news with ccmpassion & sound medical reasoning. As scarey as a cancer dianosis is especially metasratic I was confident about my outcome as I went into surgery..She is not only a great surgeon she is a blessing to anyone facing breast cancer and every visit begins & ends ×ith a hug. I thank God

Dr O'Neill spent a great deal of time reviewing records/scans & explaining my surgery options. She also took time to listen. She was thorough, respectful, professional and caring. Surgery was scheduled quickly and the outcome was excellent. She personally called my home with scan results prior to surgery. In the hospital she greeted me with a hug. She is a skilled surgeon who truly cares about her patients. Other professionals speak highly of her. Glad of the referral by my PCP. Highly recommend

Dr O'Neill is extremely unprofessional and I left her office very upset with how I was treated. She had obviously not read my chart prior to our second visit and gave me conflicting information during my two visits. She would often rudely interrupt during our consultations and often lost her train of thought and her answers varied greatly. O I've honestly never felt so uncomfortable with a physician and would never wish for any patient facing cancer to feel the way she made me feel.

Dr. O'Neill didn't even introduce herself. While giving background on my tumor removal, she interrupted, Why are you here? I showed her an area that hurts when I press on it; her serious answer was, Then don't press on it! She was annoyed I brought MRI results (suggested by my other docs bc I have dense breasts) and not another mammogram. She snapped at me during a confusing breast exam with, I'm trying to teach you something! I certainly couldn't tell. I was in tears. Will never be back.

I left her office not feeling comfortable or have confidence in what she told me and got conflicting information over 2 visits. When I went to a different surgeon for a second opinion, the difference was night and day with professionalism, knowledge, information, and urgency of putting together a team including oncologists in treating my cancer.

When your oncologist tells you one thing and then your surgeon tries to tell you something else. This is the epitome of over stepping your bounds. Having cancer is hard, going though surgeries, chemo and all hell and then finally coming out the other side. I make decisions based on my oncologist. Every freaking time I see ONeill she has to talk bad about my decision to get my port taken out. You are NOT an ONCOLOGIST. I am now cancer free. Unprofessional! Disrespectful! You are a surgeon!
