As I am looking for another doctor to FINALLY have a revision of the septorhinoplasty I received from Jennifer Chi-Young (University Of Michigan Health) a few years ago, I had to write a review somewhere so at least someone knows what happened to me. The consultation was great and I felt like I trusted her with fixing my deviated septum (breathing issues) and removing the hump on my nose. Recovery after the surgery was fine and I went into her office to get my nose splints removed. My nose was super swollen, and a lot better than it had originally looked, but I could still feel a hump on my nose. Jennifer assured me that the hump would go down over time and if not, she would give me a steroid shot to finish the job. However many months had passed and I had another check-up at her office. I told her my concerns about the hump (again) and she told me after a year post-op if the swelling had gone down and the hump is still present to come back for a steroid shot. At this point I had moved out of state and maybe a year and a half had passed post-op. The swelling was completely gone and I still had a large hump on my nose that looked and felt like bone, along with still having some breathing issues on one side of my nose, even though from the outside, it looked less crooked as if the deviated septum had been fixed. I flew all the way back to Michigan to get the steroid shot because I was that upset and figured this would be my last chance before having to drop however many thousands of dollars on a revision from another doctor. When I arrived for my appointment, Jennifer and some assistants came into the room in what seemed like a huge hurry, didn’t really say anything, gave me the shot, and left. I’m sure you aren’t surprised that the hump is completely the same even after the steroid shot and I still have breathing issues (because a steroid shot can’t really help that). I’m assuming the hump is a large portion of bone she didn’t shave off and it makes me super self conscious. So much so I edit my nose a bunch before posting photos. I am super disappointed with my results and it makes me upset knowing that I have to spend more money on a revision when I should’ve gone to someone else in the first place. Doctor Kim is a superb professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a perfectionist! All qualities I admire so much. I wouldn’t go to anyone else! My under eye filler looks GREAT! she is the best injector, staff is also amazing!! Very surprised by that negative review.

Dr. Kim did my nasal surgery- I needed my turbinates cauterized in order to breathe better with my severe allergies. My nose had a curve to one side, and she fixed that cosmetically as well. I couldn't be happier with the results! The scarring is very minimal, only I can see it. Overall I would highly recommend her!

Dr Kim used a dermal filler in a non-FDA manner. The result: my face is ruined. As if that was not bad enough, she refused to help me once she realized her mistake.
