Jennifer Rae Elliott

I saw Dr. Elliott for the two years I lived in Nebraska. I had been dealing with chronic pericarditis flares for years before being cared for by Dr. Elliott. It took a good year but we were able to find a treatment regimen that worked great for me. She took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions. I have been taking that same medication "cocktail" for about four years now and remain stable. I am back to being a happy, healthy young adult. I feel like I can be young again and do all the silly things. I'm not spending months sick at home anymore. It's quite freeing. I have to thank Dr. Elliott for her part in that transformation. There is a little wait to be seen as a new patient but that's literally every rheumatologist's M.O. Believe me, with Dr. Elliott, it's worth the wait. ( :

Had to leave several messages for a call back. Took weeks. Confirmed on the phone they could provide treatment. Was eventually turned away because I was told you have to be 19 years or older to been treated here. No one mentioned this age restriction over the phone or on their website. Dr. Elliott is an outstanding and thorough physician with an excellent bedside manner. She makes complicated topics easy to understand, and never makes her patients feel rushed, although her schedule is jam-packed. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Elliott to anyone who needs to see a rheumatologist, especially those who may have lupus (an area of specialization for Dr. Elliott.) Autoimmune disorders can be difficult to diagnose, and Dr. Elliott does a thorough and empathetic job of testing to rule out or diagnose these conditions. I'm grateful she is my doctor.

Rushes through the beginning of appointment then leaves you with a nurse for further discussion and diagnosis. Front desk staff does not try to make a welcome reception. Perhaps that is a training issue. Overall the feeling is that its not necessary to treat a patient with friendliness and concern. Get the appointment over and go to the next.

I can't believe anyone giving Dr. Elliott and her staff a rating less than 5 stars. After seeing 8 different specialist in Lincoln and getting no satisfaction or diagnosis, I was packed to head to Mayo. The night before I got violently sick and in extreme pain and was admitted at Bryan. Dr. Elliott walked into my hospital room at 6am on a Saturday morning and within an hour diagnosed me with Polymyalgia Rheumatica and GCA. Within 24 hours I was pain free for the first time in 3 years. Dr Elliott, Kayla and her entire staff has been very professional, answering all my concerns and has kept me on regular well health schedule. I am so very thankful for her and her team!

The absolute worst bedside manner. After admittedly saying she didn't have confidence to treat my husband's illness then laid out a treatment plan to include thousands of dollars of test in the end only to say we will have to go to Omaha no matter what her test find. I had been trying for over 2 months to get an appt here. I was first told by Fran their "new patient" scheduler, they were booked 2 months out. After she did receive my referral for an appt and she even called them to see what kind of insurance I had (which they don't take) she never even bothered to call me and tell me that. I had to call her!!! 'Fran" could of just asked me one simple question, at the very beginning of this....What kind of insurance do you have? That would of saved me SO MUCH TIME...MAYBE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING, should be considered! Can't even rate the Dr. Never got passed Fran! I have complete confidence in Dr. Elliott. She is caring, kind and capable. I recommend her to all the people I love.

so difficult to get a response when i call

My son has seen several doctors over the course of 10 years without a diagnosis for his pain. Even thought Dr. Elliot didn't have a positive answer, she took the time to go through his records and got us a referral to the Mayo clinic. I believe she truly went above and beyond for my son when other doctors were just shrugging their shoulders.

The office staff is snotty and rude. Never return phone calls from patients. Dr's office are supposed to help patients NOT ignore them. I will NEVER go there. The staff needs to be trained to have better attitudes. If I could leave a Zero I would

Dr. Elliott is amazing. If I could use her for every Doctor I would. She is very professional, and doesn’t give up! We need more providers like her!!

Dr. Elliott and her staff are very professional and thorough. They all are very personable. They get through many health questions very, very quickly. I felt like their attention was completely focused on my health issues. They know how to run their office very well and if the patients follow their lead it is a very easy job to get through a long and complicated health history. Seriously, they know their stuff. I'm extremely impressed.

As a transfer patient, she did a awesome job in diagnosing and adjusting medications. Very happy with her!!

Not happy with lack of thoroughly testing me further or helping me amongst my condition in general. Very disappointed that a transfer patient could be helped so minimally compared to other and past humane Rheumatologist even with having records. Very selfish in her Dr care that she has to be so greedy in caring for a new patient.

I find her professional and caring. She does a great job of listening to me and is willing to change my meds if needed.

Very personable. Very professional. I always feel like she is focused directly on me and my health when I see her. I feel very lucky that I was referred to Dr. Elliott as my condition has significantly improved since seeing her.

She actually listens when I go in for an appointment. I feel like I am on the team for my treatment and not dismissed. Appointments are punctual. She knows her stuff.

This was the first appointment with Dr. Elliott. I was shown my room at the correct time as my appointment. Forty-Five (45) minutes later she showed up. It was entirely too long of a time to keep a patient waiting. All I wanted was my prescription renewed.
