Dr. Jennifer C Dunn

My experience is not like the others on here but if you dig a bit on Google, you will find more accurate reviews of Dr. Dunn. During my first appointment I felt like Dr. Dunn rushed me but I let it go. A couple weeks later I found out I’m pregnant and called her office requesting blood beta tests since I’ve had previous early loss’s. I needed blood test reassurance for my sanity to make sure my pregnancy was moving along. Her office staff is not too friendly (bad vibes like they don’t care) and one of them confirmed that the lab they use sends the office cheap needles/equipment. No wonder I had so much bruising from my blood work. For the first test, Dunn called me the next day and the call was so rushed that I couldn’t ask any questions. She told me to take baby aspirin but didn’t want explain why. It was ridiculous. Since I had to go in for a 2nd blood test, and this one was very important, I asked my questions at the office. I was told someone would call me back that day. No one did. On top of that, it’s now Friday and no one called me with my blood test results like they were supposed to and the office closed early!! I have no answers regarding how my pregnancy is going after suffering two losses. I am beyond disappointed with this Dr. Bedside manner is so important, especially with women dealing with pregnancy issues. Her office added on additional stress that I don’t need to go through. I hope this review helps anyone thinking about using her office. YOU deserve better.

Absolutely loved Dr. Dunn! Dr. Dunn delivered my son this past August & I wouldn’t change a thing about my delivery. She is very personable & laidback. However, I did not love the way her office handled my calls. As a first time mom I had questions and concerns throughout pregnancy and her office did not seem to have a nurses line. I once called with a question and was told Dr. Dunn would not be available for a week to answer my question and to call back if my baby stops moving. Not something you want to hear. I would’ve loved to speak with another nurse or doctor yet was told “I can page doctor Dunn and she MAY get back to you, if your baby stops moving come in”. No pregnant mother wants to hear that they need to wait a week to have a concern about their baby answered. I called another time due to increased heart rate and breathlessness and was told I would hear back from someone. I waited four hours and never got the call. I ended up having to text Dr. Dunn on her personal cellphone and she ended up sending me to the hospital for monitoring. I want to reiterate that Dr. Dunn is a fabulous doctor but I would only go back to her if her office was more helpful.

Words cannot describe the quality of doctor you will get when you go to Dr. Dunn. She walked me through an early age hysterectomy and provided exceptional pre and post care. I am so thankful for her ability to diagnose and treat what could have caused me my life!

A very professional and personal Doctor who truly cares about you as a person. She is just simply amazing.

Dr. Dunn is exceptional. She was kind, understanding, and patient during my appointment. She answered all of my questions and made me feel as comfortable as she could- thank you for that! The front desk staff was friendly and scheduling was very easy.

I’m looking for Dr. Dunn. Where did she go after leaving DuPage Medical Group? She is the best! I need to get in for an appointment.

If I could give a million stars I would! She’s been my doctor since I was 16, I’m now 31...That’s very telling! She’s very personable, professional and has great bedside manners! Not to mention she’s hilarious! She’s absolutely amazing at what she does; if I have to follow her to the moon, I will! I HIGHLY recommend!

I cannot express all that she has done for me. Best doctor and surgeon you will find! At least this part of my health I have been able to trust with a health professional!

My wife's delivery was taken by Dr Dunn. I cannot explain in a review but in short she is an excellent doctor with very strong experience.

Dr. Dunn is an AMAZING professional and person! She has been my doctor for over 14 years and I could not imagine not having her. She’s kind, hilariously funny, has great bedside manners, and truly has a heart of compassion! I have literally followed her everywhere; I live over an hr away and still travel to see her! She’s just wonderful!

Dr. Dunn is a thorough, straight to the point doctor which I really appreciate. She explains procedures well and is confident in assessing ;possible options for treatment. I have always been comfortable with her and will certainly remain in her care.

If I could give no stars I would! My wife went went through 3 miscarriages with Dr Dunn. Her office was completely unprofessional and wouldn’t even read the charts to see if the baby passed before speaking to her. They had her fish a dead fetus from a toilet and then keep another miscarriage for weeks inside of her instead of scheduling a DNC. The last miscarriage she prescribed changes that my wife had already been doing for this pregnancy. Both Dr Dunn and her office were completely oblivious to proper care and professionalism. Do not waste your precious time or risk your family by going to Dr Dunn.

Let me share Dr Dunn is not only an excellent doctor but I have never had a doctor care so much about my body, feelings and explains everything so detailed you know what you should expect. I have been her patient many years and she performed a hysterectomy, and fibroid tumor. Dr Dunn is very kind, on time and gentle yet direct. Saw her several times in her old group practice over the last 8 years and now see only her at her new practice.

Dr. Jennifer Dunn was amazing in taking care of my wife and twins throughout pregnancy and all the way to delivery. She genuinely cared and even was available to answer questions and concerns during off hours. Her nursing staff was also amazing, both nurses were very knowledgeable and caring. Would not recommend. I felt like I got on her nerves and that any questions I had were annoying. I don't feel like this doctor is someone i will be comfortable voiceing any concerns to or that she will take my concerns seriously. Absolutely love the nursing staff though

Dr. Dunn is a refreashing provider to see. It is rare to find a doctor who remembers me as a person from visit to visit. She is easy to speak with and is kind and gentle with exams. She takes concerns seriously and provides appropriate followup. So glad I found her.

Performed a hysterectomy on my last December. She is everything I value in a doctor: great communicator, laid back style, not at all patronizing (like some other docs I have experienced), up on the latest and greatest in terms of women's health. I feel like I'm talking to one of my close friends when talking with Dr. Dunn. She's smart, has a good sense of humor, and most importantly, she listens and responds to what I say. I feel confident that I'm in good hands with her.

I saw Dr. Dunn early in my pregnancy. I was having very minor bleeding so I called the office to try and make an appointment. I was directed to her nurse, who instructed me to go to the ER (which didn't make any sense based upon what I was experiencing). Without ever having spoken to me directly, Dr. Dunn left a very detailed voicemail regarding my "misarriage." Thank God when I received the message a new OB saw me immediately where I saw my baby's heartbeat (who is now a healthy 4 month old)

We started visiting Dr Dunn in my 12th month. At first I felt skeptical since I liked my old doc but had to change due to relocating. Dr Dunn always has a smile on her face and is very patient with all the questions you have. She's very gentle in checking and always encouraging irrespective of the complaints you have during pregnancy. Though the health group is old school I would recommend Dr Dunn as she is very experienced and has made my journey of pregnancy and delivery really easy! 5 stars!

Dr.Dunn is amazing. She really takes the time to explain what's going on. I never feel rushed.
