The doctor doesn’t see patients, she leaves the doctoring to nurse practitioners

It was my first visit and already the best dentist I’ve been to! They were very informative, thorough and genuine!

Clueless.

The office staff at the Women’s Center are lacking severely in general operating procedures. I’ve have been trying to see Dr Donahue since the end of May 2019, it’s now March 2020. And once again I’ve been asked to reschedule my appointment because the doctor will be out of the office that day. Each time it is for something they would have known about well in advance and should have blocked out that day so as to not schedule her appointments on that day. Each time they have tried to force me to see a nurse practitioner instead. While licensed nurse practitioners do need additional training from a general nurse they are not a qualified doctor. Nurse practitioner schooling takes 4.5 years, a doctors schooling 11 - 15 years, big difference. In the state of Connecticut (at least my area) they have forgotten that doctors and nurses are not equal in training and knowledge. I don’t want to belittle nurses they are an invaluable person in a medical clinic just not equal to a doctor.

Not good. No bedside manners. Did not introduce herself. Talked down to you. Sad she is a dr.

Dr. Donahue always takes her time with me and my daughter and really listens to our concerns. She even takes time to talk with my daughter about her interests and shown concern for her overall development. It’s easy to get an appointment and the hours are convenient for working women. I have seen a few other doctors in the office for sick visits, and have been happy with all the providers I have seen. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Donahue in particular. Dr. Donahue always takes her time with me and my daughter and really listens to our concerns.
