I called to have my kids schedule with this Dentist office as new patients, and they would not take my children due to the fact that my children had a private insurance and Medicaid.

Great people and friendly staff.

Great experience! With the staff and Dr.Criss! My daughter had her dental work done on her and Dr.Criss was awesome! Explained to me everything they did on my daughter! I would highly recommend her office! I will be switching my son over to her office soon!!!

The Best pediatric Dentist !!!

I absolutely love this place! I decided to switch my daughters dentist and I don’t regret it. Caitlyn was so patient and made my daughter feel so comfortable. She explained everything to her so she wouldn’t be scared. My daughter even let her take x-rays. Dr. Criss was amazing as well. I loved how comfortable they made us feel and how informative they were. I’m so happy we switched over to them I absolutely love this place! These are the nicest folks you could ever have for your kids!! Very caring, loving and patience is the key here with Dr Criss and her staff❤️❤️

Very Rude staff. We like Dr. Criss. However this experience has looking for a new pediatric dentist. We scheduled appointments for both my grandsons. We showed up to the appointment and the cancelled the appointments without letting us know. They claimed to have TEXTED our HOME number to confirm the appointment. We don't receive text messages to our home number. Then they couldn't reschedule us until January. When I called back to speak to the Office Manager, there story changed that they left a voicemail at our house number (we do not have an answering machine) and that they texted our cell number. We never received a text message on the cell either. When I called her out on that she was like well she was late and that the text message says late show will be canceled. Well we didn't receive said text. I call BS on her and she hung up because I cursed at her... All I did was call her BS because she kept making excuses for cancelling a meeting that should not have been cancelled. Dr. Criss if you see this, my daughter that was bringing her son in has disabilities, we have to coordinate schedules for day to get appointments taken care of this was ridiculous to cancel these appointments. I will mention first that Dr. Criss herself was kind and understanding. However I had a major issue that happened with one of her office staff over the phone. She was completely inappropriate, rude, and caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and embarrassment. I did take it up with the office manager who was very nice but did not seem to take the incident as seriously as I would have liked. I have literally never written a negative review for anything in my life, but I was traumatized by this and I wanted to warn other parents. The office is very busy and I was understanding about not getting my calls returned, but the rudeness by this particular employee was just over the top. I wouldn't say don't go here because like I said Dr. Criss was professional and personable, as was most of the staff, however I would say get all your questions answered while you are in the office because if you have to call and ask a question you maybe harassed and mistreated. The staff is very professional and do an amazing job with my kids. There was a difficult parent in the waiting room with us and the staff did a great job handling the situation to where it wasn’t escalated.

Best children's dentist around. My daughter is not the least bit scared to go to the dentist anymore. Very polite takes time with each patient. Friendly staff and always helpful. Recommend 100 %.

DR. CRISS hands down is the best!!. My daughter was terrified of dentist because of past ones not being kid friendly. We went to Dr. Criss in Nac and she was amazing. We met her one day and she got to talk with Addie and get to know her, the next day when we walked in to have some fillings done, they had Addie's favorite unicorn barbie movie playing above her chair. Every thing they used (dental tool wise) was purple (her favorite color). They even had her a unicorn pillow to snuggle with while they did it. They had learned she loves LOL dolls, and Dr. Criss had her some little toys that she gave Addie to play with her LOL dolls. She now runs into their office because she loves going there. The absolute BEST staff, dentist and environment! My kids no longer dread going to the dentist. We will be "patients" of Dr. Criss' as long as possible!

My children have been patients of Dr. Criss for 13 years. My teenager is about to graduate out of her care and it’s bittersweet! I still have 3 more to go though so it’s Ohk. She and her staff are the best by far!

Ok so apparently if your kids hate the dentist... like most do!! Then Dr. Criss is your answer. From my oldest to my youngest ( all kids seems to love her, her staff and the office environment).. I did venture out for different dentists but found that Dr. Criss is the best place to be.. She and her staff has provided exceptional services to all three of my babies for around the past 13 years.. Not only is she great at her job.. she has a sweet heart (showing care and concern for the children ) Plus it rolls over into the local communities where she is constantly giving back in one form or another......Hands down she’s a thumbs up.. I took my daughter for some fillings and she had Capps put on as well. And the staff made sure that she was comfortable and calmed! As well as the Dr she did such an amazing job that my daughter did not complain at all! Very smooth procedure!

We love Nacogdoches Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Criss is fantastic, the atmosphere is truly wonderful for kids, and the staff are always professional and amazing. They have gone above and beyond to be there for our dental needs and have been more than helpful on every procedure my boys have needed. I highly recommend them!

My kids have been going there since they were infants and actually enjoy going to the dentist. They really make it a priority for children to have a positive experience when having dental care. Staff are always professional, friendly and great with children. The office is always clean and has a kid friendly set up.

Dr. Cross and her staff are absolutely wonderful! My daughter is ten years old and she is the first dentist that I have loved! Even though we stay in Lufkin, Dr. Criss is now our dentist! I absolutely love her and my daughter does too! The way they treat the patients, is phenomenal! Feels like a big family!

Dr. Chris and her staff are excellent with my children

They always take great care of my son. I highly recommend Dr. Criss. The entire staff are very knowledgeable, understanding, and have a lot of patience with the little ones.

Dr. Criss and the entire Zoo Crew were amazing today for my boys' first dentist experience. They are very kid oriented and took time to explain everything and answer questions. My youngest even got sick in the middle of the appt (not related, probably car sickness) and they took such good care of us and the mess. My boys already want to go back. I can't express how grateful I am as a mom when people/doctors/dentists/teachers take good care of my kids!!!!
