This Dr. Is very pleasant and very knowledgeable. The man up front is a little rude usually. Thank goodness it was her nurse up front this time when I went. I love it she's very thorough and spends alot of time with her patients does not rush them.

Dr. Ahmed is great. Office staff is beyond rude. Rachel is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I have never been talked to like this lady talked to me. I have been trying to get a pre- authorization for a month when it usually only takes 24 to 48hours. She dismisses me as soon as I say my name. I am now looking for a new doctor.

If you are in search of a Endocrinologist (Diabetic Dr) in the Beaumont, Texas area, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT GO TO DR. JEHANARA AHMED!!!!! Her receptionist (which is her husband) is very rude & disrespectful. Today I called about an issue with my meds. I asked to speak to her several times after he was very rude. He told me no, so I went off. He told me if I didn’t calm down that they would send my paperwork to my PCP and cancel me as a patient. I told him not to worry because I would do it myself and hung up. She calls me back several hours later with an attitude. She was saying that I need to stop listening to my insurance and pharmacy. Also that I don’t need to call four times a day. Which was a lie, I called yesterday evening and left a message and then called today (when I got into it with the husband). When I tried to talk, she cut me off and said I needed to listen to her. She even used profanity when referring to me listening to my insurance saying she didn’t send over authorization for my meds. After she finished talking I asked if I could talk now to explain the issue with her husband. She told me no and hung up in my face. I called my PCP after both incidents and requested a transfer to a new Endocrinologist!!!!! When I talked to my PCP office after her calling me, they let me know my paperwork was already sent for my new Endocrinologist. So her office don’t have to worry about me anymore and they will get NO MORE OF MY MONEY OR MY INSURANCE MONEY PERIOD!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY NUMEROUS PEOPLE THAT SHE LOSES A LOT OF PATIENTS DUE TO HER HUSBAND AND HIS ATTITUDE!!!!! Dr. Ahmed is a great doctor and very nice. I’ve been bringing my dad here for over year and half but last two times when I visited there the Indian or Pakistani guy that work there was very rude. I believe that’s the same guy you talk to when you call to set up an appointment with Dr. Ahmed. The reason why I’m writing this review right now because I just left her office with my dad because we had an appointment. So when I went there they ask for my dad insurance card so they can call and verify so we waited for an hour then nurse come out say they couldn’t find my dad insurance and told me to call the insurance. When I call the insurance everything was good so I let the nurse talk to the insurance agent and the nurse said well I still can’t verify it because I’ll have to call to verify this I said can you please call them back so you can verify it because my dad really need to see the doctor today because he out of his medicine and needs refill and she told me no and I have to pay $130 so I was upset then I waited little bit in the waiting room and said okay I’ll pay $130 but they still didn’t want to provide the service then the Indian or the Pakistani guy come from the back and start being very rude and try to get physical and more then slam the door and window in our face and told me and my dad to get out of there. I never meet anyone that rude in a professional place like this. I hope he get fired and hope nobody ever treat him good. Dr. Ahmed is very unprofessional. I will never recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Ahmed was very thorough and attentive to my concerns. She took her time to explain everything to me in a way I understood. Amazing bed side manners. Would recommend her to anyone. They wait was kind of long, but she was worth the wait. I will be using her going forward.

Brought my mother in law to her today. She is super sweet very thoughtful and her bed side manner is amazing. She was very thorough with her and answered all our questions and concerns. So happy we made the switch for my mother in law.

I called just to find out if they are taking new patients & my insurance. The person answering would not speak up so I could hear them, before anything, asked me, "Who are you? and why are you calling?" What? No thanks.

I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed since she opened her office in Beaumont. My husband tore his retina and required two surgeries and had to have someone with him constantly. I cancelled two appointments. I called today to set up a new appointment and her husband told me they would not schedule me an appointment. We have had lots of health issues this year with my husband being in an alzheimers trial and the torn retinas. My previous years (approximately 8-10 years) do not matter. Dr. Ahmed has always been very good to me, but I cannot put up with her overbearing husband. Now they only accept cash for payment. No credit cards, debit cards, or cafeteria cards. I think she was wonderful, but he is horrible and very rude. I'm done!

I am very happy with her as my doctor. She listened to my concerns and is working with me to get my diabetes under control was non medicine treatment but body decided changing diet and exercise was not enough. As long as she will have me as a patient I will have no other doctor even try to manage my diabetes.

I was a patient here for over 8 years i loved Dr Ahmed she was kind, generous, and really cared for her clients. But recently she got a new office manager as he is rude, inconsiderate, and he detrimental to her office. I drove 2 hours for an appointment for him to be rude and made me leave for forgetting my insurance card i hate that he is ruining her business. Dr. Ahmed is a good doctor. She definitely helped my mom get her diabetes under control. Her nurse is wonderful! BUT HER HUSBAND, who is the office manager, is horrible. He is not friendly, he's kind of a bully. He tried to charge my mother $20 for a question asked over the phone. When we told him to send a bill, he said he wouldn't do it. It's so sad how some staff can cause a good doctor to lose patients. I would rate Dr. Ahmed a 5, her nurse a 5, but her husband is a 1.

I want to her last year she a nice doctor I like her she just sent out for me to get a ultrasound on my thyroids so I'll probably be going in seeing her soon

The doctor is always open & honest & knows what she's talking about. She gives good instructions She's easy to talk to.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Bad business practices. AVOID this place at all costs. They don't care about their patients whatsoever. Dr Ahmed is great but she really should invest in a new office staff or at least answering service. I tried leaving a message about my medication and was rudely told that i was wrong...when I know exactly what the bottle in front of me says. I asked to speak with someone else and was flatly told no. And then was told they could send my medical charts somewhere else when I simply asked for someone else in the office to call me back. Have been a patient on and off for a few years but will be going elsewhere, I know my thyroid is underactive but was told that it was fine. Never again.

Dr. Ahmed is amazing herself, but her husband/office manager is a tyrant and very difficult to deal with!

She is the sweetest person! She listens and understands. Very helpful. Her staff is awesome! I recommend anyone to go here.

Dr. Ahmed is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She stayed in the room with me for over an hour. She was very thorough and went over every aspect of my disease. She is also very kind and caring. I would highly recommend her. Feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor. As a plus her office staff is very nice.

I have been to several endocrinologists in Beaumont and Houston and Dr. Ahmed is by far the best. She has helped me get my diabetes under control, and I fully trust her as my doctor. I look forward to being her patient for many years down the road.
