My first visit was particularly good. He would explain his procedures in quite simple term. He was very thorough in inspection. I will be going back to see him again. The doctor and his office staff were very friendly.

I was able to make an appointment through phone call. Prior to the pandemic, we had arranged for a checkup when everything closed. During the meantime, they sent out emails updating me about their situation, so I wasn't kept in the dark. I was able to have my checkup in the end with all the precautions taken care of. Very friendly staff here ! Adriana is the sweetest receptionist ???? I've been coming here for over 3 years for my cleanings since they take my insurance here. I love that when you have an appointment, they see you right away. I have never waited. There's no "waiting" room. Hard to believe huh. Your appointment time is your appointment time. ???? Dr. Yamashiro is so amazing. He is very nice and I love that he talks to you the whole way through, letting you know what he's doing in every moment. I just had a cavity filling on 3/30/21 and I was a little nervous but it didn't hurt at all ! And trust me, I am afraid of needles. But He numbed my gums with gel first then he injected the anesthesia (felt a tiny pinch, not bad at all) and about 4 hours after I left he called to check on me. I felt great ! I HAVE NEVER HAD TO WAIT TO SEE DR. YAMASHIRO. THE OFFICE STAFF IS VERY PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY. DR. YAMASHIRO IS CONSIDERATE AND TAKES THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EACH STEP OF THE DENTAL PROCEDURE.

I actually enjoy going to the dentist! I get check ups and cleaning twice a year. If it wasn't for those check ups, I'd never get to see the Doctor and his staff because they make sure to address any issues or concerns I have before they become a problem. I have had a lot of dentists as my career has taken me around the country and Dr. Yamashiro is one of the very best. He is very careful and very considerate. He is kind and thoughtful. He explains what he is going to do before he does it which eases any stress you may have. He personally cleans your teeth and never causes me any pain. I like the fact that I know that he is thoroughly examining my teeth as he cleans them. He will work with you to help deal with insurance and billing issues, and help with the timing of your visits to make sure that you can get the most benefit from your dental insurance. If he can't do the work he will refer you to an excellent healthcare provider. For instance, he referred me to the best specialist for root canal that I have ever had, and I have had a few to compare to. I highly recommend Dr. Yamashiro. He is an excellent dentist.
