Dr. Visotsky, is on excelent doctor.

Dr Visotsky is extremely knowledgeable & experienced with the various procedures he’s done for me with my hands & fingers, shoulder rotator etc. He always spends the time as required to adequately discuss the condition, it’s cause, and the treatment(s) he first recommends to try before surgery, if appropriate & available. He’s been my ortho Doctor for 25 yrs, & I’ve always had excellent results!

So glad we chose Illinois Bone and Joint. The staff and Doctor were wonderful. They got me in quickly and addressed my injury.

Dr. Visor sky has operated on me twice - one badly broken arm and an arthritic finger joint. He’s also taken care of my husband twice. He recently discover arthritis in my cervical spine and referred me to one of his partners. If you have any shoulder, arm, hand problems he’s the doctor for you!

The Doctors always are patient in explaining details of diagnosis and treatment.

Surgery at ISMOSC was a breeze! From the inital check-in to my discharge, the process was easy and Covid19-safe. The atmosphere was relaxed, which helped me to relax. Personnel were uniformly friendly and answered all of my questions completely. Follow-up at IBJI was equally reassuring. Dr. Visotsky and his team are great!

Dr. Visotsky is very personable and takes the time to listen to the patient. He then explains everything to the smallest details. He did an amazing job repairing my right shoulder and if I or anyone I know ever had a shoulder issue, he is the only Dr. I would recommend.

Had my first visit to Dr Visotsky for carpal tunnel syndrome - I wasn't aware of all my treatment options, and was patiently taken through a number of different scenarios. Arrived thinking surgery was the only option, and left after having a cortisone shot, which has already shown promise within 24 hours. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and polite, all my questions were answered sufficiently. Dr Visotsky seems to have a great bedside demeanor, should I have to escalate my care, I wouldn't hesitate to book in with him again. I have been seeing Dr. Visotsky for about 20 years. I have continued to improve under his care without surgery! He totally fixed my rotator cuff problem about 10 years ago so that I no longer have that problem. I now see him on rare occasions for a carpal tunnel injection and following one of those I am as good as new for about a year. He's amazing! Dr. Visotsky has a wealth of knowledge and is fun and personable. I have recommended him to friends and they have always been most grateful, including those who have had him as a surgeon. Very trust worthy, wonderful Doctor! Dr Visotsky fixed my sons finger fracture with at most easy and confidence. I highly recommend him.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and have been seeing him for the last 15 years. through 5 surgeries and one broken wrist. He is very good at explaining your options. I trust him completely to give me the best advice and possible outcome from surgery.

Excessive, inappropriate surgeries with outdated techniques. Puts profits over patients and over charges... stay away! Dr. Visotsky has caused a friend of mine to deal with chronic pain for many years because of his poor decision making. After reviewing my friend's operative note with one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country, I am appalled by the way he took advantage of his patient. Dr. Visotsky does not use the most up to date techniques, which have been show to have better patient outcomes. The other surgeon hadn't done what Dr. Visotsky did in over 15 years. Dr. Visotsky also "repaired" something that was not injured, put anchors in a location where he shouldn't have, and did an open procedure when he shouldn't have. Let me repeat: he causes harm by messing with structures that are not injured!! Not only does he do procedures that are not necessary, but Dr. Visotsky also charges for a surgeries he did not actually perform! Do not trust him. I have been a patient of Dr. Visotsky’s off and on for eleven years. My husband was his patient as well. During that time he replaced the large joint of my right thumb and repaired my right rotator cuff, but only after trying all other available options and I opted for surgery because of pain. That’s what my husband and I have always liked about him—-he isn’t “knife crazy”! Surgery was always the last option, and only when we decided to do it. I had surgery on my left wrist fracture. I was so well taken care of from the first office visit and each visit after. Professionalism, kindness and competency was my overall experience with Dr Visotsky and his staff, especially Susan L. and Marco. The front desk staff are very courteous and efficient. Good diagnostician,lays out the facts & yr options.Excellent surgical skills,looks for latest techniques that might improve YOUR particular problem. Good follow-up care. he did major shoulder surgery from a bad accident for me & also an elbow. I've got bad rheumatoid arthritis & have had 14 ortho surgeries.

Thumb and wrist surgery ...bone on bone. One of the best Dr's I have encountered...tops in everything from knowledge, bedside manner, and doing what he says he will do...with the outcome he intends. His help is top notch as well. All thumbs up...way up!

Dr. Visotsky is a total fraud. I went to go see him regarding a torn rotator in my shoulder. He said that the surgery would be standard procedure. When I woke up I saw several scars on top of my shoulder. He said that I he also wanted to alleviate impingement which was never an issue with my shoulder. Basically he doubled his income during surgery by doing additional procedures. Not only did my shoulder not feel any better, the discomfort is actually worse due to the additional unnecessary surgery. Now I have an even worse shoulder and ugly scars while the Doctor collected $60,000 from me and my insurance company. Hes a total fraud!! Beware !! Dr. Visotsky is a total fraud. He cares about his patients and gets you moving in the right direction as quick and painless as possible. He explains everything he's going to do prior to the surgery. Their operating facility is top notch.
