Met with Dr several times. I don't appreciate how aggressive he was to my wife before the surgery. He confused her for someone else and comes in the room to fight saying, "Do we got a problem?". His nurse told him it's the wrong patient. Start the day off with bad energy he messed up on the surgery. Instead of apologizing another time about that he doubles down and does character assisanation of my wife making up things on the spot. My wife is sweet and friends with staff that was there. But Every time we go there's new people. What does it mean if he can't hold on to consistent staff? Dr talks about how good he is but just messed up and gave another patient a hematoma (internal bleededing) that required emergency surgery. Dr said we can pick any implant size we want. We pick the one we wanted and then the Dr argues that this size we picked is too big and tells us to do one smaller. We unfortunately listened to him and the results are smaller then what we wanted. Even he said after the messed up surgery that we could of gone bigger. I do not trust him to do surgery on my wife. Dr seems to have short man complex I work in medical field and can't belive he's getting away with treating patients like this. He shows his real colors after you already payed him thousands of dollars and he does a subpar job.

I just wanna say that I appreciate the skill level of everybody and their extreme professionalism, I couldn’t be happier. Besides, it’s a beautiful facility, extremely clean, and so nicely decorated.

I live in New York City and was on google for a few months looking for the best surgeon in Sacramento area. Ran into Dr. Jeffrey Sweats information and saw that he had good ratings. I made an appointment online and the service that way was already impressive. Got on a Zoom call with Teffeney and I took pictures. Being from NYC and always in Sacramento, they invited me to come in. I came in and I was double impressed. Flew in and I got to say my experience was AMAZING. Dr. Sweat is an amazing physician!!! COME HERE!!. His staff is AMAZING ALL OF THEM. He's the best! I would never go to anyone else ever. I have follow ups. Got my breast lifted and augmented and I feel like a million dollars. NO one else for me ever but Dr. Sweat and his amazing staff. This girl from New York flies to Sacramento just to be there. Gorgeous facility! Come one come all its worth it. Treated me like I was a star.

Be careful with this place. The consult wasn’t even with the Surgeon but with a Patient care coordinator. she snapped pics then came back with recommendations. Waste of $50 to not even have an actual consultation with the surgeon. You can’t even meet the Surgeon to get a feel of him so you can decide to proceed if you want the surgery or not. I don’t know how people feel comfortable having surgery where your life is on the line when you haven’t even met the Surgeon yet.

I have been going to J Sweat plastic surgery for 5 years now. I began seeing Irina for Botox and injectables and she is truly an artist. I can trust her for always giving me a natural and beautiful look. I recently started seeing Lindsey as well and she has blown me away with the excellent results in my Botox and filler. I constantly get compliments on my lips and tell everyone who asks where I go. Their customer service is always superb and I will continue to come here for all my Botox and fillers.

I highly recommend this place. Yesterday I had a hydro facial by Nicole and botox and filler by Lindsey. The experience and results could not be better. These ladies are truly professional.

THANKS STAR FOR THE 1 STAR RATING! You truly helped me make my final decision! My heaviest weight was 290 and I lost 70+lbs, not once but twice! Alot of damage is done with that much weight fluctuation. I was still 200+ and just wanted a curvy figure and to get rid of all that skin. So I started searching for someone who would be BRUTALLY HONEST and straightforward with me because my weight was still over 200lbs. I had 2 consultations with other surgeons and just wasn’t comfortable quite yet. Luckily, the lady that gave Dr. Sweat 1 star for being brutally honest sparked my attention! After years of getting multiple consultations I finally found the right place, J Sweat Plastic Surgery. I had the BEST consultation experience with Christine, she answered all of my questions, gave her recommendations, showed photos and made me feel so comfortable. I made up my mind before leaving the consultation that I found the place and was ready to schedule my surgery. I was scared because I was having multiple procedures done all at once but the staff and Dr Sweat reassured it was the best decision. My journey with J Sweat has been a long one. I came in for a consult in early 2018 back at their old location. During that time I had Kybella done along with some fillers. That was a great experience and the staff was always so supportive and kind. Fast forward to October of last year, I finally took the plunge and went in for an extended tummy tuck, lift, and liposuction to multiple areas. Dr. Sweat is succinct and no nonsense, he sets realistic expectations from the start, whether or not if it's what you want to hear, though he was kind in his delivery. Because of this I knew what to generally expect and I got just that. I "interviewed" and consulted with doctors from the Bay Area to Los Angeles, and with Dr. Sweat I felt like he was the only one that was not trying to fill my head with unrealistic outcomes. The appointments where I did get to see Dr. Sweat were at the necessary points of this process- I felt like it was what was appropriate and I was always greeted with a smile. With all of that being said, my outcome was so much better than I anticipated. I deal with some chronic illnesses and I was not at my goal weight (I knew before ever stepping into a consult that tummy tucks, etc. are NOT for weight loss), but I walked away with a body I had only ever dreamed of (I don't even look at or use a scale anymore, because I love how I look so much and am only focused on toning and building my strength back up) . Since these changes I've been able to be much more active and the progress has been amazing- physically, emotionally, and mentally. In regards to his staff, there are not enough words to explain how amazing they are. You go into these scenarios expecting to be heard, but more often than not this isn't the case, but his staff REALLY truly listens. Dr. Sweat and his team are amazing! Not only are they professional and pleasant through every step of the process, they genuinely care! Dr. Sweat is a mastermind!! Your expectations will be exceeded and you won't even recognize your own body. I didn't expect a miracle when I came in. When I left, even my mother was in awe of his work. I never expected a whole new body and such attention to detail. I did my research and will continue to come back to Dr. Sweat, Irena and the rest of their amazing team/family.

I am beyond pleased with the results of my Body Lift. I didn't show Dr. Sweat pictures of what I wanted to look like, but got what I had envisioned and more. I love my waist line, back, butt and stomach. The incision was so clean the scaring is minimal. The staff are professional, caring and sympathetic. I'm so glad I went with a local office as I have either been in for a visit or calling to ask questions every week. My 6 week results are amazing. I also tried Biote with pellet injections. The whole staff is wonderful. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. I had such a great experience with the entire process.

Had a similar experience as another reviewer on fb. They tried to make it seem as if my COMMON request was the issue and was told only negative things on the procedure. I was then told “their plan”and it was completely off from what I wanted. It sounded like the PS lacks experience in some areas and this is how they try to play it off. This visit was the only consultation I had that felt very fake on their part. Went off and found a better PS. Biggest red flag was the lack of results available to the public. What you find online is what they show you in a binder at their facility. I was charged $100 for a visit without the PS.

I did a lot of research and chose to make a consultation appt with Dr. Sweat's office. I had a consultation with Teffeny, originally for a tummy tuck. But she also gave me some recommendations, that would give me my greatest results. She went over what to expect, what Dr. Sweat would do, and about recovery! I took some time and went over her recommendations and chose to do the lower body lift with liposuction of the lateral back! She booked my surgery, that was able to fit my schedule! During my pre-op appt Dr. Sweat went over my health history and recommended some additional test to clear me. So that there were no surprises and was concerned for my overall wellness and success! So after all my tests were ran and cleared, it was a GO for my surgery! I was very nervous the day of my surgery! But ALL of the staff were so wonderful, kind, reassuring, and treated me like family! I'm 12 weeks into recovery and am absolutely amazed from my results! I feel like a woman again and confident!

I like that the place is super clean and the staff are the best. The staff are down to earth people and it makes my whole experience easier. I had skin tags removed and now I’m currently getting hair laser removal.

I started my journey back in July 2020, not sure of what direction I wanted to go. Teffeney was so helpful and really listened to my goals and concerns. The entire team has been helpful, compassionate and friendly throughout my pre and post op process. I feel more confident in myself and grateful Dr Sweat and his entire team!

Everything started with a call to the office because I was thinking of making a consultation. Esela was able to explain the consultation process with me and I decided to meet with their surgical coordinator in order to get a feel for the office. After meeting with Teffeney she took a moment during the appointment to chat with Dr. Sweat and came back with his surgical plan for me. She went over pricing dates and reviewed what to expect as far as my recovery. I called back a few days later to book my surgery and made my appointment to meet Dr. Sweat. The morning of my surgery we had an easy check in and my husband was set up in a private room so he could continue to work while I was in surgery. After many years of THINKING about getting a breast augmentation, last October (2020) I finally went in for a consult. This was after a whole year of following Dr. Sweat and his social media, asking some of his prior patients and over reading about all the things. When I went in to see him, his entire team was and has been a dream to work with. The first appointment isn’t with him (so please be aware), but when I finally set a date for my surgery I did get a one on one with him and he was very patient with me and helped me to understand what exactly a “Mommy makeover” entailed. MOMMY MAKE-OVER & INNER THIGH LIFT~ Hi ! I'm JLC & 44 yrs old. I have worked out at the gym on & off since I was 19. As I got older I found out how much harder it was to keep fit. Going to the gym & eating right was getting harder, especially with a busy schedule. I also had a C-section when I was 21 yrs old. The lil pouch that was always so hard to get rid of. I did some research for my area in Sacramento & found that Dr J Sweat & his team was highly recommended. Also, with his studies & years of being in the medical field, plastic surgery and all the wonderful reviews. I decided to try his Facility out. I started with them 5 years ago, with Botox and fillers once a year with Irina & she made me feel natural and younger & made me feelgood about myself. Once I saved up enough I did my first surgery in 2019 with them which was a Mommy make-over with no implant. The healing time for me was approximately 7 weeks. I never in my life had been so happy looking in the mirror at my new flat tummy and perky ta- ta's. As, I know everyone heals differently. My scars needing more mending and in some places. It's just reality. I used scar gel, and laser to help. I was so impressed with the surgery. I decided to go back in 2021 & get an INNER THIGH-LIFT & LOWER BODY LIFT( for my lower back side) to make it a complete 360. Also, while I was in surgery I had my scars revised from my Mommy Make-over to make them smaller. I initially wanted just the inner thigh lift and lipo for my outer thighs. Dr. Sweat and his staff are amazing! From start to finish my experience with them was remarkable (I still use their spa services). I felt welcomed and so comfortable. I always felt safe and in good hands. I am now post-op one year for my tummy tuck and Liposuction. My results have been unbelievable and are only getting better. I was recommended Dr. Sweat on a Facebook group and decided to schedule a consultation. I was skeptical and scared at first because I never had any experience with cosmetic surgery. I met with Teffeney at the consultation and she explained everything so well and answered my whole list of questions. I never once felt rushed and I instantly felt comfortable being there which was so important for me especially when looking into surgery. I then met Dr. Sweat at my pre-op appt where he explained everything even more depth. On the day of my procedure everyone made sure I was 1000% comfortable and assured me it was normal to be super nervous. After my surgery, Maggie and Jolie have been amazing with answering my millions of questions and they’ve just been so helpful. I’m now 2 months post op and I’m in love with my results! Dr. Sweat did a bilateral breast reconstruction after previous post mastectomy reconstruction that was unsatisfactory. I am so pleased with the results, there are no more restrictions on my arm movements because of the scar tissue or adhesions. The shape and size of the implants are suited to my body type and look 100% better even 7 days after surgery. The entire staff is kind, thoughtful and professional. The facilities are fantastic and state of the art. I also felt very safe because of their stringent social distancing and other precautions. Every aspect was carefully explained before the surgery and there were no surprises. Pricing was more than fair, but frankly plastic surgery is not something you should be looking for the lowest priced practitioner. You get what you pay for. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sweat to anyone wanting plastic surgery.

PLEASE, I WARN YOU TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR! I had a tummy tuck from Dr. Sweat in May of 2017 and was still going to follow up treatments when I posted a bad review in Oct 2018 after a disappointing interaction with him and his office. My next appointment was in Dec of 2018 for laser treatment of the ugly scar around my belly button and lower abdomen. Dr Sweat did not appreciate my review and decided he was not going forward with the rest of my treatment and reneged all further treatments, even after promising me at least 2-3 free laser scar treatments and to fix the "dog ears" (promised before the actual surgery). Now I am left with a VERY UNSIGHTLY "O" scar around my belly button - which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of a tummy tuck (whats the use if I'm still hiding my abdomen?), and looking to file a complaint with the State Medical Board or Office of Professional Medical Conduct and looking for an attorney to see what my rights are. I have requested my medical record from his office over a month ago and have not heard anything back yet...very disappointing to say the least! Please do your research thoroughly before getting any kind of procedure from this doctor or any other! OCT 2018: I was very disappointed with Dr. Sweat- I was going to wait to write the review but this last appointment really frustrated me. I felt that the Doctor straight lied to me on 2 specific occasions and all he is concerned with is "up-selling" their products. At every point they make it sound like they are going to rectify the problem then they show me a bill or tell me how much it would cost to make the correction. I asked about scar management, and instead of advising of remedies or best practices, they tell me about the special scar treatment and tell me the additional cost. I asked specifically before the tummy tuck surgery if he would fix the "dog ears" if any- he told me "oh sure, that's a simple in office procedure. So I ask about it this last appointment- he tells the ladies in the room that I don't need additional surgery, that I am an excellent candidate for the cool sculpting and has them mark up my body to tell me the additional $3800.00 it would cost to cool sculpt down the dog ears and other areas! I asked about liposuction of the abdomen while doing the tummy tuck and he told me that even if he wanted to he COULD NOT as the fat in my abdomen was internal! I feel that was because I did not pay for and elect to get the additional liposuction - not that he could not do it- VERY DISAPPOINTING! I am currently going through the laser treatment to eliminate the ugly scar around my belly button - was told that the first 2 treatments would be serviced but after that there would be an additional charge (let's see if 2 treatments would take care of it). I could not be more pleased!!! I had a tummy tuck and Lipo on my inner thighs and love handles. This is by far the best surgeon I have been to!! I’ve had two procedures prior and this dr and practice will overall! Results so far are better than I could’ve imagined. I’ve never been so happy and I’m only 1 week post op- still swollen. Worst experience with a Dr. ever! I never felt so uncomfortable with a medical professional. I was looking to have filler injected under my eye area, smile lines, and cheek bones. A procedure I've had done a few times in the past. It usually lasts about 6 months for me and since the last time I had it done was 7 months ago and I could tell the product had dissipated. I called my usual dr but they were booked out. So I called around and was happy when I found out Dr. Sweat injects under the eye, because not too many dr.'s do it. And I was even happier when they were able to fit me in the same day! When I got there the front desk staff was real nice and they were quick to call me to the back. I explained what I wanted done to one lady, then another, and then the dr so that was a little redundant to have to explain to three different people what I wanted. The first lady I met with numbed my face which was irritating because I hadn't even met with dr to see what, if any, areas he could do. When I met with the dr he explained he couldn't inject me and that I needed to go to my last dr to have the product dissolved. I explained that I had it done 7 mo ago and that it had dissolved because I don't see it anymore under my eye. I surprised how he then became rude and defensive and said that he is the professional and that's obviously why I came to him and that if I didn't trust what he was saying then there's nothing he can do for me and how filler last 9-12 months. I said well sounds like there's nothing u can do for me anyway and I'm sorry but I never had filler last on me for 9-12 months nor has any Dr told me that. It's usually 6 months. Also if u go to him, be prepared for him to brutally point out your flaws in a derogatory manner. I naturally have bags under my eyes, it's hereditary but they were more prominent this day because I had been oncall that week for work and had gotten little sleep. He said I looked like I had been beaten up or in a car accident. I felt his comment was unnecessary because I was not there for my bags. Obviously filler doesn't correct bags. He could have just said I have bags. Yes it's good for a dr to be honest but there is a way to do it and why point out something I was not even there for. I had filler put in my cheek area to get rid of the droopy under eye area that was making me look old. I love it! I look years younger; it totally worked! Irina was my nurse practitioner who can work miracles LOL! I would refer her to anyone who is having problems with their under eye area.

Dr. Sweat's office is the third plastic surgery office where I had something done, and it will be my go-to one if/when I decide to do anything else. The first was liposuction which was in SoCal. I consulted with Dr. Sweat for a breast lift to replace my implants. I was concerned about scarring with a breast lift but he was very up front with me about what my results would be. I went in to see Dr. Sweat for a consultation for breast lift. I'm in my late 50's and had my breasts done in the early 90's but it was definitely time to do something about them, again. I also wanted some liposuction on my stomach and outer thighs. To be frank, I was a little worried about the recovery as I'm a bit older now than I was the last time I had plastic surgery. But Dr. Sweat and the entire team were very comforting in their approach and how they set recovery expectations. The first few days of recovery weren't my favorite but after that the healing process went pretty quickly. It was definitely worth it and I would do it again in a second. Not happy with his professiona manners! I was really looking forward to my 40th birthday present of getting botox & juvaderm procedures done. I arrived early for my appt. And ended up sitting in a small, semi clean patient room for almost an hour. Dr. Sweat never poked his head in to apologize for the wait. I ended up so frustrated and finally just walked out. When I walked out he was talking to the girls in his office..appently he has time for that but not potential clients. Will never go back!

Great guy...puts you at ease and the procedures live up to expectations.
