Dr. Siegel and his staff are extremely professional and courteous. He provided me with my treatment plan in a straightforward and clear manner. I highly recommend Dr. Siegel.

Came in for shoulder pain on different days...one day the left and then the right a couple days after that. Week after that I went in for carpel tunnel in both arms. he chalked it up to coincidence. Ended up being diagnosed with AL Amyloidosis

I've been Dr. Siegel's patient for many years and have always been given the best care. He performed a partial knee replacement several years ago, and recently repaired my torn rotator cuff. In both cases, he kept me informed about all of my options, as well as all aspects of the surgeries and the recovery after. In both cases, I held off having surgery because of all of the stories I'd heard about how terrible they would be, and each time the surgery and recovery were much easier than I had anticipated. I ended up wishing I had had both procedures years earlier. A fantastic doctor and surgeon!

Dr. Siegel is an amazing surgeon who helped me at a critical time. He was aware of my severely broken shoulder from the ER and already had a plan in motion by the time I saw him the next day...surgery scheduled the following. His team is also fantastic and supported me every step of the way.

I went to see Dr. Siegel for a hip/knee problem in April and it was one of the worst experience of my life. he was terrible/ no bed side manners and condescending. He never even touch my hip/knee to see a range of motion or what caused the issue. took one look at my X-Ray and just said you will have a hip replacement sooner rather than later. No effort to see what options might be available. while i might have arthritis the pain has subsided and definitely not in need of any hip replacement. The worst part of all this is that for his 5 minutes with me he went on to charge $500. Shocking!!

Dr. Jeffrey Siegel, part of Summit Medical Group's Orthopedics practice, performed rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder this year. Prior to the surgery and throughout the process, Dr. Siegel's physician / patient approach was collaborative and open, reviewing the MRI results pre surgery and setting expectations post surgery. Through post surgery physical therapy and regular followup visits, my left shoulder is back to full function and I am totally satisfied with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Dr. Siegel and Summit Medical Group to others with orthopedic related health issues.

When my husband had an auto accident and broke his femur in four places, Dr. Seigel operated on him with great success. Plates and screws were required. One look at this scar, which you can hardly see, and you know that this Physician did an excellent job. Dr. Siegel has been a lifesaver for my husband who has been suffering from knee and leg problems since a broken femur due to a football injury and countless surgeries prior to Dr. Siegel. My husband severely fractured his elbow a few months ago. Dr. Siegel saw him right away and scheduled surgery early the following morning. The doctor carefully monitored his recovery with appropriate follow-up visits and prescribed physical therapy that returned his range of motion back to virtually 100%, increasing strength as well. Dr. Siegel showed expert technical surgical skill coupled with very personable "bedside manner." I had seen Dr Siegel from 2009 - 2015 . I had gone to a top practice in Morris Co and their solution was surgery. Dr Siegel gave other alternatives. Although I Am not sure this was the best approach. Dr Siegel offered cortisone & Synvisc but only after I asked about these treatments were they offered. The Knee continued to deteriorate and in 2o15 I had a partial knee replacement .The operation was a disaster. He left on vacation shortly after the operation with no on call other than the emergency room. I needed to be seen within 2 days of surgery because the knee bandages were full of blood. The office refused to see me and offered Emergency Room. Unacceptable. The operation failed and 2 years later I have a swollen & . painful knee, one leg shorter than the other & lower back pain. At the time I returned monthly to Dr Siegel and his advice was to let it “settle down”. After 8 months, his advice was to have a full knee replacement operation. I asked why and he said because I was not happy with the results of the partial knee replacement. Not because his work failed. This is unacceptable. He suggested this or waiting a year because it takes this long sometimes for the adjustment. It is now 2 years and things are worse. Constant Knee pain, unable to run, unable to walk a step without shooting pain down the front of the leg below the knee & additional back pain & a shorter leg than the other. Unacceptable. Be sure to ask how many failed ( unhappy) patients a Doctor has. How many PKR a Doctor has successfully completed. I find that the approach of wait & see both with interim treatments & post op treatments not to be a solution. The Doctor has to make the decisions and I find Dr Siegel not to a decision maker except in the decision to perform a PKR rather than a Full Knee Replacement . And this was the wrong decision. And then not stand by his work! Unacceptable. At the 1 year mark, I decided to get a 2 nd opinion and requested all my medical records. They no longer could access that Computer/ hard drive. They had become part of Summit Medical Grouo & lost access. No X-rays or MRIs were accessible. I spent 6 months requesting this & they finally released paper images. Really? This is unacceptable. The staff was less than cordial, helpful or professional. After 6 months of return visits I was charged copays and told this was a new incident. I would rate the Doctor & practice as less than 1 star but was unable to do so in this system. I had seen Dr Siegel from 2009 - 2015 . Dr. Siegel is an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon; his level of care, professionalism, and attention to his patients is second to none. I know Dr. Siegel personally and believe some of the information posted in these reviews is untrue; one of the reviews references another doctor named Jeffrey, but not Dr. Siegel. A reviewer also stated that Dr. Siegel takes lots of vacations which I know to be untrue. On the rare occasion Dr. Siegel travels out of town he maintains regular contact with his office and patients. Dr Siegel and his office staff are excellent. From the excellent care I received in the hospital until I was discharged today everything was flawless. I would definitely recommend this practice. Dr Siegel was patient, answered questions and explained everything well.

Dr. Siegel is the ultimate medical professional. He performed surgery on my son's fractured tibia and the results, now several months after the accident, are excellent! Was there with my wife for a slap tear and shoulder issue from an auto accident. We went to seek surgery for repair. After, injections and therapy he suggested a tenotomy rather than repair based on her age. My wife will not go back as she wants it repaired not just "pain relief". Heard many positives and understand conservative treatment but disagree with the recommendation and we are seeking another doctor. Jeffrey Siegel is one of the best clinical orthopedists in northern NJ. His examinations are thorough and focused on the clinical results of any surgery he might have you consider. Dr Siegel is a great doctor. Takes the time to explain the whole process of surgery if needed . I had arthroscopic knee surgery, and was basically walking the next day.

I waited one week for my appointment. I went in and told them that my shoulder and hip were painful - He would only look at one "ailment" at a time and a second appointment was needed to look at another part of the body. Ridiculous at best....

I had a rotator cuff tear and bone spur on my right shoulder. Dr Siegel did a wonderful work on my surgery. He is very patient and explain everything before and after my surgery. Also on his clinic in Randolph NJ, he never rush on his session. Thanks Dr Siegel. Highly recommended.

Dr. Siegel is a very skillful, thorough, caring, organized, considerate orthopedic surgeon. He didn't rush me into the decision to operate, but urged me to try non-surgical alternatives first. I did later decide to proceed with total left shoulder replacement. The surgery went smoothly, as did my post-surgical rehab. Within 3 months I was 99% recovered with minimal diminution of function and no pain. The entire staff was superb and rates an "excellent" especially "Daisy" in scheduling.

Need surgery on the meniscus of your knee?Don't go to New York.Dr. J. Siegel is the doctor to see.Once it is determined that you need surgery, he will prepare you for it so that you won't be nervous.You'll feel in control. His staff will call and arrange everything you need with great care. You will be able to view an online video re: all aspects of the surgery. The surgical center he chooses will be excellent. Dr. Siegel has treated me for a rotator injury and for a broken arm requiring multiple office visits. He was always prompt, courteous, and thoroughly and knowledgeably answered my questions. Excellent bedside manner.

Broke my wrist and went to ER where ER Dr. put bones back together, wrapped arm, and told me to see an orthopedic on Monday because I needed surgery ASAP. I called 4 surgeons Monday, none of whom could see me within a reasonable time. I called Dr. Siegel's office, and although completely booked that day, they found a way to squeeze me in, due to my condition. On Thursday Dr. Siegel put a steel plate in my arm and it has healed beautifully. Thanks so much Dr. S. and your wonderful staff.

After a routine knee surgery I was incapacitated for three months and in constant pain. when i can get a hold of the doctor after his many vacations he did not even recognize me and ask what a leg whats been broken, never haven a broken leg I realized that my doctor did not even not who i was.
