Dr Serdahely is easy to talk with; takes time, explains what’s wrong, what to expect, and has good follow through. I had an esophageal procedure by him at Holland Hospital. Everything went like expected and on schedule. Couldn’t ask for more.

Dr Serdayly is amazing and caring. His staff is horrible and if you do not have insurance but did and are willing to pay cash, good luck getting an appointment even when you are an established patient. Been trying to get in since November for an appointment. Got a call about a appointment opening but I had an hour to get there. Having a wee one and living 30 mins there was no way. Still waiting for an appointment and my illness is getting worse. They do not care Dr Serdayly is amazing and caring. Very professional, a nice approachable appearance.

Be very careful working with this group....if you ask if a procedure is covered by insurance they will provide you with a code so that you can verify coverage, but what they won't tell you is that the code can be changed after the procedure is completed and then you will be responsible for the costs directly. I was given a code by the scheduling office and verified with insurance that everything would be fully covered based on this code. Found out later that Spectrum changed the code (the code I was given by Scheduling was a Medicaid code and I am NOT on Medicaid.....so why they would give me a Medicaid code I do not know) and I became responsible for the cost. I was told they understood, but there was nothing they could do. Extremely misleading. It's very disheartening when you put your trust in a professional organization like Spectrum Gastroenterology, whom you feel should guide you honestly in every aspect of a procedure, including the billing and insurance side and instead you are mislead not provided with all the facts to make a fully informed choice. I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Serdahly at Zeeland hospital, it's was the most comfortable, quick colonoscopy I have had.

Dr. Serdahely is an excellent doctor with a perfect bedside manner.

great experience with rountine colonoscopy, and followup in scheduling special CT scan in Grand Rapids (not available in Holland}
