Went into surgery with incredible pain that was managed only with meds. After Dr. Rihn operated I was pain free. Fantastic bedside manner and explained everything in layman’s terms. Paoli Hospital, all the nurses and Dr . Rihn are the BEST!

Dr. Rihn is fantastic! - - His metrics spoke for themselves (e.g., frequency of performing this surgery), and he answered all of my questions, putting me at ease with the ACDF surgery he would perform. Had a discectomy after 2 years of living with daily pain. I feel like I have my life back now. The difference was noticeable the day of the surgery and my quality of life continues to improve during recovery. Dr. Rihn was a model of professionalism and his results speak for themselves. Dr Rihn did my back surgery a couple years ago. I was in very very good health and he said this is a very very simple operation. Unfortunately After two years of doing proper exercise nothings ever improved as if the surgery never opened up the area to regenerate my nerve. I still walk around with a limp the same as I did before I went in. I went back for a yearly check up and he seemed as if he never knew who I was. I was in good enough health where he said I could do whatever I want But unfortunately after my checkup there was a blood clot that almost killed me. Called the doctors office not a lot of concern. Those things to happen. But when I went back for another follow up it was as if he had no memory of anything or didn’t want to see me. I waited two hours in the waiting room . And I was explaining my situation and he couldn’t wait to kick me out the door. His mannerism was 1000% different than before the surgery. I recently had a spinal fusion done by Dr. Rihn. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful and efficient. The surgical process from initial visit through recovery has been stress free. Thank you!!!

Dr. Rihn performed a spinal fusion and laminectomy on my spine/back. On my journey/decision to this surgery I met many people whom Dr. Rihn had treated, including other doctors and nurses. Every single one of those people praised Dr. Rihn and his team. This was very reassuring, especially in this era of social media. I was also reassured by him immediately before and after the surgery and by the comprehensive packet of information I was given ahead of the surgery. I am now two weeks post op and so far, so good!

It was a 1 hour waiting time when I arrived. The room was dirty and I felt like being rushed. Not a good visit

Dr Rhine seems to be a very skilled spine surgeon . Much better results then I had from previous surgeon . He had to repair what the previous mess up . And you know how hard it is to fix what another botched up .

Dr. Rihn is the best. He performed my surgery 7 years ago and restored my quality of life. I had a consultation with him to do my next surgery, he was thorough in explaining the next procedure. The staff was very pleasant in checking me in and setting up the whole process. Scheduling the surgery was a simple process.

I had very pronounced curvature of the spine (70 degree) plus spinal stenosis and arthritis. I had been seeking effective solutions for over three years. Dr. Rihn was amazing! He said he could help me, and he did. It was a tough surgery and it will be a fairly long recovery, but he was able to decrease the curvature from 70 degrees to 29 degrees! He was recommended by a pain management physician in NYC. The best thing to ever happen to me!

Rothman orthopedics receptionists were very friendly and patient. The X-ray techs were cheerful and proficient. The nursing staff were good despite seeming rushed/busy. I cannot say enough about Dr Rihn and his calm and confident demeanor. He was a man of few words however he was very open and honest about what was happening with my spine and what he intended to do to improve it. He also patiently waited for me to ask my questions and answered them directly. So far, I am extremely happy with my experience at Rothman. Large herniated disc at L4-L5. Had lumbar Laminactomy with fusion on 2/22/21. Surgery went well. 3 days in the hospital. Came home and did a lot of walking. Went to PT and also a soft tissue and muscle Dr. Doing very well. Pain almost gone. Still mild leg nerve pain. Doing everything I use to do before. Dr. Rihn basically saved my life. This Dr is amazing.

I love everything about going to the rothman institute. Doctor Rihn and his staff are simply amazing.

I was suffering with horrible sciatic L5/S1 nerve pain. I tried PT and an injection. After the CT scan I was referred to Dr. Rihn's office and am very glad I was. From the first appointment Dr. Rihn explained the risks and potential benefits of surgery, and answered my questions, in a way I could understand/apply to my life. Once I made the "go for surgery" decision Dr. Rihn's staff set up all of the pre-surgery appointments which was very convenient. Throughout the process the staff were very professional and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. Post surgery, the office and nurse practitioner promptly returned messages and answered my questions. In the first three months post-op I could tell the nerve was in the process of healing and getting steadily better. At six months, I feel like a full person again. What do I mean by that? I not defined by the debilitating pain. Dr. Rihn and his superb staff are why.

Getting your neck operated on is something nobody wants to Do unfortunately when you have two herniated disc in your neck putting pressure on your spinal cord you have to get this taken care of. I went to multiple doctors. I chose Dr. Jeffrey Rihn (Rothman orthopedics and spine institute )had my surgery at there Royersford facility I cannot say enough about the entire experience from the moment I walked into the door until I left the next day everyone on his team was very professional and concerned about their patients I had many choices in doctors went for multiple consultations I chose Dr. Rihn and I thank God I did I could not have asked for a better doctor or a better outcome everything went great !!!! I give him and his team a five star rating !! if anyone in my family or friends have any issues with spine or neck problems I will certainly will send them to Dr. Rihn !!!!!

My experience with Dr. Rihn and Rothman Orthopedics has been amazing. From my first appointment the have been extremely helpful, efficient, and thorough. Dr. Rihn is a man of few words but a phenomenal surgeon. I had a laminectomy with spinal fusion two weeks ago and it was life changing. I have struggle with back pain, trouble walking, balance issues, for nearly ten years. In the past year things escalated to the point that I could not walk more than a block without crippling pain and my left leg became completely numb for about six months. Within hours of surgery I was on my feet with a walker. I had full feeling in my leg and no pain other that typical surgical pain. Within 24 hours I was walking without a walker and doing stairs under supervision. Just under two weeks after surgery I feel better than I have in years. I’m sleeping through the night, walking full speed without any assistance, and have minimal surgical site pain. Dr. Rihn changed my life.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Rihn repaired a herniated disc in my back. Now the stitches are out and I'm feeling great - virtually no pain. His entire team is first rate and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Rihn is extremely competent . I trust his judgement 100 per cent. He did my spinal fusion 7 and a half years ago and I have been doing great until very recently. I have had some additional symptoms from different vertebrae from my fusion but he is not recommending surgery at this point. We are working of some other alternatives, and hopefully they will work well.

Back surgery

Quickly and accurately diagnosed my EXCRUCIATINGLY painful disc herniation with bone fragmentation, despite inaccurate read by radiologist. Facilitated quick surgery and performed a miracle to the point that I walked out of the hospital after the discectomy under my own power. A miracle worker, in my opinion! Highly recommended.

Dr Rihn is a great surgeon, I am a heavy equipment mechanic of 46 years and my back was really messed up. After a day at work I could barely walk, now I'm back to normal and am confident I can finish my chosen career with no pain. Dr Jeffrey Rihn did my ACDF surgery on the 22nd of October. I am so pleased with the results. As expected, I was extremely nervous and anxious to have surgery. Dr. Rihn and the staff at Rothman were very committed and explained everything in complete detail. Dr. Rihn is a caring and thoughtful doctor with great bedside manners that put my mind at ease. Dr Rihn is a caring and excellent surgeon. After suffering with sciatic pain for 2 years and getting no answers , I decided to go to Rothman and see Dr Rihn . Dr Rihn explained what the problem was and how he can fix it . I had spinal fusion and decompression surgery on 10/21/20 and Im so glad I did . Dr Rihn gave me my life back !!!! He answered all my anxiety ridden questions and prepared me for what to expect for my upcoming surgery. The minute I woke up from surgery the pain in my legs was gone. Today I am cured and can walk from severe pain of my lower extremities after a successful spinal surgery (laminectomy and fusion at L4-5, S1) done by a super neurosurgeon Jeffry Rihn, MD. More than 3 years ago I had a mild car accident (rare end). I had mild lower back pain. Physical therapy, epidural and facet injections made my pain worse in last 3 years. I had to switch Orthopaedic doctors, neurosurgeon one after another because no doctor thought my condition is deteriorating because of their wrong diagnosis and treatment even with 3 previous MRI. Finally when I went to Dr. Rihn he immediately did a fresh MRI and found the cause of my excruciating pain and suggested me for surgery. On July 23, 2021 he performed the surgery and given me a new life. Pain has gone at least 90 percent in last two months after surgery and getting better every day. I wish his successful career. I went to Dr.Rihn with a very severe herniation in my cervical spine. My herniation was so severe that Dr.Rihn was able to fit me into surgery the next day, this was a relief because I was in intense pain. I received a fusion and after surgery, I have no pain at all and received the best care. I am so very thankful for Dr.Rihn!

Dr. Rhin is a very talented surgeon. He knew exactly what my condition was and how to treat it. He explained the surgery in very good detail and I was very comfortable with the procedure.
