Jeffrey Thomas Reisert

Dr. Reinsert was my primary care physician for nearly 20 years in NH. I was sad to see him leave. As far as patient care, knowledge, and dedication to his patients, Dr. Reinsert is truly one in a million. In my opinion he is among the best.

The care from Dr. Reisert is highly recommend as the time and attention to the patient is some of the best I've seen from my perspective of working in the healthcare field for 25+ years. The reason for the markdown is the billing/charging. I'd double and triple check what is reported to the insurance for as a certified medical auditor myself make sure the level of care is appropriate and type of service is what you made the appoint for. I made an appointment for a new patient physical or wellness exam, no medications were changed, and there were no issues or labs ordered for last year's labs were stable. What was billed was a new patient medical appointment which went against the medical benefits and a $4150 office visit. Had it been reported wellness - would have been paid 100%. I called the office and was told that Dr. did the billing and selected the code. When I asked if I set the appointment for a new patient wellness how did it get changed to medical. I was told it was my responsibility to have the physical completed. I thought this was what was completed, it was how the DR chose to document it. Hence I know have a bill of $381.80 after insurance provides the adjustment....Not sure about you but $381.80 for a visit that resulted in no med changes (just prescribed the med list I brought in from my last provider), no labs ordered by the Dr. and no new issues with a normal exam, seems like a lot of money to just establish care. Will I go back??? Probably not since I feel the run-around on the intent of visit, and the staff told me it was my responsibility the Dr. documented the visit as physical, which is what I thought I had when I made my appt for wellness.

Dr Reisert was my (and my husband's) doctor for several years. He was a caring, knowledgeable and humorous doctor. We both felt very comfortable with him and trusted his care. We miss him and are finding it very difficult to replace him with a doctor we relate to so well.

The appointment was on time and Dr. Reisert was very helpful and explained everything to my satisfaction.

This guy is a law suit waiting to happen. I had multiple choice choice surgeries on my wrist & hand. He decided to "examine" it. I said please take it easy... He continued to twist it after I said twice, NO!!! I left the room and left his practice! I also heard him next room over yell at a patient. Poor bedside manor!
