My son has muscular dystrophy and his lungs are supposed to be checked every two years. This was the doctors office that his check up was done two years ago with Dr.Rehm. Everything went fine two years ago but today when I tried to make him his two-year check up, I was told that they discharged him as a patient a year ago and they would not see him again with no explanation or reason why they have literally put my child’s health in jeopardy! If I were any of you I would seriously reconsider making appointments here they don’t seem to care about their patients welfare. They definite don’t care about the young ones with debilitating disabilities. It’s very discriminating and very sad to know that there are places out there that simply just don’t care about their patients! Dr. Rehm and his staff were absolutely amazing. He took the time to listen to my problems, took longer to explain things in a way I could understand without making me feel stupid as some Doctors tend to do, then scheduled testing quickly and had me on a treatment plan a couple days later. Best and most friendly and knowledgeable Doctor I have ever been to.

I love Dr Rehm. I have been his patient for over 20 years. I was discharged from the hospital on Dec 20, 2020 for COVID. I was told by the discharging doctor to follow up with Dr Rehm. I called to make a follow up appointment and the earliest they would give me is February 10th. I explained I will run out of medication before than but they suggested the Nurse Practitioner. I rather wait for Dr Rehm so I asked if I could get a sample of Breo to last until my appointment. The nurse said they don't have Breo samples so I suggested something similar would do. Now she says because of COVID they are not giving out any samples. She said they would call in a prescription I tried to explain one prescription of Breo will cost me $75.00 when I can get a 90 day supply for the same price. Needless to say, it was a waste of a phone call because she wasn't willing to help me any.

Dr. Rehm was wonderful when my mom was diagnosed with COPD last year. However, my father had a lung biopsy on June 4th. The office did not call to notify us that the biopsy report had been written on the 7th. Even though my mom called the office starting on the 12th. We found out from an ER doctor on the 16th when he was admitted for severe chest pain that he had metastatic lung cancer. There is not enough room to go into further detail or to write about the anger and disappointment we feel.

Dr. Rehm has always been very thorough, knowledgeable and enlightening on how to best treat my COPD. His personable and no-rush visits are indicative of a healthcare provider that truly cares about others. I wish more physicians had his skill and personality.
