Dr. Jeffrey S Nugent

Dr. Nugent is awesome. He was nice and efficient in explaining what was going to happen. I look forward to working with him and his staff again. He had me and my sister laughing a lot and made the whole visit so much better. He also didn't have a problem with me bringing my baby into the appointment. He interacted with her a little bit as he was leaving to see another patient. All of the nurses and staff were helpful and super sweet. The office had a very pleasant feeling about it. Everyone was very helpful.

He is a genuinely nice person, cares about his patients and one of the most competent physicians I have met.

Doctor was in a rush not taking much time with my questions and exam.

If this is the Allergist! He is great!

Dr. Nugent gave me the tools so I could treat my stubborn sinus and skin issues at home. Surprisingly effective, my quality of life has improved, thanks to him. I'm impressed!

Our family has been going to Northern Nevada allergy for over 3 years. I have four children and three of them see Dr. Nugent. He is awesome at making the kids feel comfortable. We love the people in the office especially Tori. They have been efficient with helping us schedule multiple appointment. The office is clean and comfortable. We are very pleased with the service which we have received.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. Dr. Nugent did a thorough job of reviewing my test results and explaining my options. He also explained how various medications work. As a professional pilot, I especially valued his background as a Flight Surgeon and familiarity with FAA Aeromedical regulations. My only caveat is be prepared to wait a while to get an appointment. He is booked well in advance.

Paid $650 plus Medicare for a pin test and patch test and the only thing I learned was that I may be allergic to perhaps a dozen different things. Each one of these possibilities had as many as a dozen synonyms and I was told to go home and do my “homework” on the internet to try to figure out what I was allergic too. Some help. The only thing I got out of this fiasco was my frustration level went the top of the chart.

Dr. Nugent is very thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned about my family's allergy issues. He is always booked months in advance but well worth the wait. I promise!

I absolutely would not feel comfortable recommending this doctor or Northern Nevada Allergy at all. I feel the doctors there have shown more care to their egos rather than patient care. They did not show compassion for my son who was receiving care there, did not come up with a plan to suit his needs and life, did not adequately communicate issues, and did nothing to ensure there was not a large disruption in his care. I feel this was for personal reasons and that isn’t how a medical doctor should work. You serve all patients, even the ones you decided you don’t like. I absolutely do not feel comfortable recommending this establishment or doctor at all! I feel this doctor cares more about his ego, along with his colleague, then serving patients and solving problems. He should look to see what challenges need to be overcome and develop a plan of action to overcome challenges. Instead, without thought of how it would affect my young, this doctor pushed us out the door with no thought of how it hurt my son and his progression in care.

Please, read the reviews about this doctor and Northern Nevada Allergy before starting your care there. I wish I had. By the time I realized that patient satisfaction and care was not a priority, it was too late. One review on yelp discussed how the doctors act once upset, and how they allow staff to act, and I feel it's true. I would never ever recommend this establishment or this doctor, to a single person. This doctor is also super slow and unable to see a different perspective. YUK!

Dr nugent is wonderful but is ALWAYS very late. II've had to wait more than one hour past my appointment time every time I've gone there in the last 6 years

Dr Nugent is the smartest most knowledgeable doctor as well as being a truly humanistic doctor who treats you with such respect, he is personable and amazing. Wish there were more doctors like him.

Dr Nugent is a great Doctor and very detailed. He diagnosed my health issues that a regular doctor could not.
