Dr. Jeffrey Scott Lessar

Had a sleep study done over two months ago and have still not received the results. Was told there would be a two week turn around. Left two messages with receptionists about getting results. Left one voicemail. To date, have no information on results. I would highly recommend people look into other Pulmonology groups in the Winchester area. Dr. Lessar does not seem to be too concerned with patients receiving their test results in a timely manner.

You can never get in to see a Doctor since they moved into this practice. Will be transferring all my care to another Dr.

I like him. He has a sense of humor. He has always made me feel comfortable and I have never felt rushed. He is one of the better doctors I've been to. I would recommend him.

Had an appointment with Dr.Lessor for lung biopsy results. Did not have results back, and did not call to reschedule appt for when results would have been in and could have saved me a1 1/2hr each way drive. He said at that time he would call me with results. 8 days later I call him, he not in I remind them I am waiting for his call. 8 days go by still no call. I wait another week call for an appt. Given an appt.for May 20,only to arrive and be told I have no appt,not on the schedule. No explanation as to how this happened.No apology for wasting my time ,no call from the doctor.My lung biopsy was March 18th,2021 and have yet to hear results from this doctor. Someone is dropping the ball in that office, but it will no longer happen with me.Totally inexcusable.

Dr. Lessar is the pulmonologist I've had. I've needed a pulmonologist for many years of my life for a serious lung disease. He listens to my experiences with the disease and we work together. I don't however always love dealing with the front desk. You can't simply ask the Dr a question. You must make an appointment for EVERYTHING.

COPD, 1st visit - need sleep study, CAT scan, and pulmonary function test. 2nd visit - no sleep apnea, but sleep with oxygen concentrator running. 3rd visit - 2nd CAT scan shows COPD stable, redo pulmonary function test next.

He’s one of the worse pulmonary drs I’ve been to. I came to him having bronchiectasis. Not only did he rush me every time I went to see him he would always look at me with this look on his face when I would tell him how I was feeling as if he didn’t believe me. I have had many bronchoscopies and he didn’t even put me under. I felt everything. If he would have done his job and stopped sending me to an infectious disease dr he would have known that I had cystic fibrosis. He’s one of the worse pulmonary drs I’ve been to.
